Assist customers when they show up for a reservation. The customer should not have to walk around the entire parking lot to locate one vehicle. The customer should be able to ask questions to the representative who is helping them without their friends who don't work there, inserting their opinions. Very uncomfortable and did not like the service from this location at all. Not an inviting atmosphere and personnel were not helpful for such a simple pick up.

Was handed keys to a truck with no heat on a snowy, cold day, putting on over 100+ highway miles. The check engine and oil light came on repeatedly and the acceleration was choppy/poor, leaving me not confident in its reliability. I was also not provided the furniture moving blankets that I had paid for.

Elizabeth DoniusNo, I wouldn't recommend this location to anyone. I was over charged for mile I didn't do 59 miles to be exact. I drove from 375 Norton st to Westminster Street New Haven how the hell I drive 59 when I only drove 9,5 mile. not even 15mins. And no I didn't take a picture of the mileage because who would have thought this would have happened I've used U-Haul in the past never had a problem that I'm aware of, but who knows how many times this happened not just to me to anyone else because people are not paying attention nor doing their job I know for a fact that representative Juan didn't get up not once he said I was all set, he didn't even come outside and check the vehicle… he sat there and ate his food moved on to the next person like nothing..

He explain that the entrance was for employees. I apologized for the entry and told him the day of rental I witnessed several customers use the same entrance without being yelled at. This was truly the worse customer service I ever received. He spoke in a condescending manner. I hope no one ever received this kind of service .

I am sure that arriving at a shift that isn't yours and arriving too a disgruntled crowd cant be easy, but the young man came to work. I was impressed with his work ethic were above and beyond what was expected but a joy to see in this day and time. This employee is who changed the review from terrible to great.

Eric Johnson-CharlesVan smelled horrible of smoke so bad we got air freshners for it. windows were so dirty couldnt see out of it. there was sticky residue in cup holders and around door handles had to buy wipes and clean it. when we returned the van there was a homeless person in one of the other vans left in lot.
