The manager of the Northampton Uhaul is superb! Professional and approachable, knowledgeable and reliable. I highly recommend the Northampton Uhaul to anyone in the PV.

If I were to recommend that somebody use u-haul, I would recommend this location to a friend. The staff was kind and helpful, the facility was clean. That being said, using the app to return the vehicle took almost 30 minutes due to a bug in the program, and the overall cost was too high, so I will not recommend that anybody use u-haul. The staff at this location and the customer service rep were the only good part about my experience with u-haul. Je ne ferai plus appel à cette entreprise.

I made a reservation to use a pick-up truck for one day to move some items. A $20 truck!! I rented it to be picked up at Byrne Towing, about 1/2 mile from my home. There are 5 U-Haul locations in Greenfield, however the reservation "specialist" called and changed the pick-up location to Northampton, 20 miles to the south of Greenfield. "This is the closest truck available" he said. As a result, the $20 truck plus mileage resulting in costing $76 due to the extra mileage. DO you really mean to tell me that there are NO trucks available in Greenfield??? Or is this just another form of a loss leader and "free advertising" as the truck is clearly marked "U-Haul" as I was using it. All in all I was just plain cheated!!!!!

inside truck was very dirty and full of wood chips.... pre pick up cleaning would nice.

I don't remember ever having experienced such friendly and helpful customer service. I didn't get his name but he was so helpful and gave such clear directions. I will definitely use this uhaul location again and I will recommend it to my friends.

Hold the reservation or notify the customer if you plan on changing it. We had reserved a 26' truck for noon. We were running late and arrived at 1:30 pm to find out our truck was rented to another and we had to settle for a 20' truck. This required us to make 2 trips, doubling the mileage so it cost us twice as much as planned. Just not fair.

No problems. Staff was very; helpful, especially Steve when I returned the van.

Staff provided quick and friendly service. Truck cabin reeked of cigarette smoke and driver's seat was starting to tear. However, truck ran well and was easy to drive.

The van was not clean and the blankets were not clean!!

Nothing, your staff tried to load a trailer on my hitch and it would not seat correctly. He immediately had me move to another trailer and got me on my way following up with an emailed copy of the new trailer info. It was a great experience

The van's windshield seal was flapping in the wind on the passenger side; and it was obvious that it didn't "just" happen. This should have been taken care of before my rental. In addition, gas was not "full"; and yet on the return I was required to have it full. Lastly, change oil light was on from the time I pulled out. Again, maintenance on these vehicles needs to be completed before the next rental. We are relying on these vehicles to get us from point A to B without incident; and we shouldn't have to worry about simple maintenance issues. On the PLUS...the check in and check out; excellent; and the employee at the desk very good.

I had originally done the truck share to pickup before the location opened. I interacted with two employees who were unable to help me pick up my truck. The first employee I spoke with on the phone told me that she would be sending instructions to get the truck because she verified my information, but the information never came. When I never received the info, i chatted with a second person who said they were unable to verify my information. Poor customer service! I had to waste an hour waiting until the store opened because your truck share people were unable take care of me via chat or phone. Fortunately, your employee at the location was pleasant and efficient. I will look at other options before renting from U-Haul again.

The people who work at this U-Haul location are awesome! Friendly, helpful, and communicative. Equipment is always ready and serviceable in a timely manner.

Charles was amazing!! He got us everything we needed to move. We are still using the box cutter he gave us! Do not underestimate how important having a box cutter is. Thank you Charles!

Charles R is top notch, he made the check out quick and easy and is one of the best I’ve encountered at any U-Haul. I will def be coming back to this U-Haul just because of him

Service and employees in Northampton Ma were excellent. Pricing though was more than double the last 2 times I rented going to the same location. I was told by a phone reservations person it was because of a shortage of equipment available but there were plenty of vehicles available.

Victor was outstanding. He went above and beyond to help me with my truck rental. I have also worked with Charles in the past. He helped me on New Year's Day and was amazing. I am grateful for this location and the great customer service!

U-haul can stop changing the dropoff location the night before dropoff! Arrived at the location specified in our contract to turn in the truck and were told we were at the wrong dropoff location. Argued with the clerk who said we were at fault. Showed him the contract which indicated we were at the right location. The clerk argued U-haul had changed the dropoff location the previous day and we should have magically known this. WTF!

Still not happy about the big bait and switch game that Uhaul plays. Trucks everywhere that say 19,95 a day or 29,95 a day. But the catch is - only for one day! You will not rent for multiple days and that is just misleading. If you are only a 24 hour in town rental company then come out and say so and don't bait and switch like that. If I want to rent for multiple days that should be a real option given the way you advertise.

It would help if the windows would be deiced before picking up the vehicle. Or even having an ice scraper on hand.
