I made a reservation at a more convenient location, but Uhaul made me pick up here without compensating for the inconvenience. I'm not sure what the point of a reservation is. You should honor the reservation by making sure the equipment is in the right place- that burden is on the business accepting the reservation and not the customer. Otherwise, everything was fine except the truck was terribly out of alignment, pulling left- reflecting a lack of maintenance. I would not use UHAUL again, and instead will use a company that honors the scheduled reservation.

RAYNETTE GAINESInterior of truck was clean: however tone it down to half the air freshener solution used to spray the interior cabin. It was very over-powering and nauseating. 1. Replace the driver side door seal; excessive exterior wind noise is heard within the cabin. 2. Adjust the steering alignment; the truck pulls to the right. Unsafe; merges into next lane or curb if driver is distracted momentarily. 3. Balance the tires. 4. Replace the windshield wipers blades. The current wiper blades were causing streaks during road splash from other vehicles driving in front of the truck; dangerous situation if traffic abruptly stopped.

Anne espertiPeople in the location are rude. I told them that I wanted a 24 hr. Rental for a auto transport and they wrote it as a 6 hr on the computer also they charged me for 2 days. On top of that I wasn't able to use the trailer because the brakes don't work on the unit I rented. They refused to refund me the money. I will never rent from this location again as they are rude and don't maintain there equipment legally, if you rent from this location you will regret it. Very non professional, I called to try and settle the dispute with them and they told me I didn't know what I was talking about. I will be talking to the D.O.T. In Lansing today and see if they can do a complete equipment inspection on every piece of equipment they have at that location as they are renting it out when it is not legal nor safe.

Judith Warren-WrightWe were given a non transferable trailer and had to bring it 4 hours away which then resulted in an 8 hour road trip. And they charged us after saying they would give us a free day. So I paid $160 for a trailer for 3 days which is ridiculous. Considering I made the extra 4 hour trip downstate to return the trailer when if I was given a trailer that was transferable I wouldn't have had to make that extra trip and lose $280 in gas and the extra charges. Although everyone with customer service was helpful I just don't believe it was right to verbally tell someone if you come down and bring us our trailer back there will be no extra charges and then here we are paying for another two days when we didn't even have the trailer an extra two days. Matter of fact the trailer was suppose to be returned at 5p the day before and it was returned at 1145a the next day. So less than 24 extra hours we had it and still got a charge.

Both times we rented from here vehicles had no air in the tires so we had to pay to add air. Not worth the time or money

Leslie DurrBoth reps I talked to and got truck from were very unfriendly. not helpful over the phone or when I went in. they acted like doing their job was an inconvenience to them. they also didn't explain that when I dropped off truck to check it back in online. they said just drop it here and put keys in box. so I was charged an extra 20 for not checking vehicle back in. I will never use this company again
