I picked up my truck which the paperwork said the fuel was full. Upon inspection, it was not full, although close, at 15/16ths (between 7/8 and full). This was noted on my checkout report via the app. Upon return, I fueled to the same level and noted. I was charged for not returning the truck full even though the photos clearly showed it was not full. I disputed the charge and U-Haul came back saying I fueled at 7/8 and charged me more after my dispute.
Ryan YTook 45 minutes to check out the truck seeming from problems either the system. Ended up getting a larger truck which I didn't want. Cost more in gas gas and waiting 45 minutes. Not good
Rick AI would recommend the location but NOT THE APP. The app is not user friendly and very much a headache. The people inside were amazing and helped me but I haul did not. I was over charged and no credit for all the gas put in and charged for a dolly I never had in the truck

Rodney BWhen i went to pick up the trailer they didnt kmow i was coming to get one and they didnt know the location of the trailer in there lot. They also did not help me find the trailer nor did they help me load the trailer onto my truck or conduct a inspection of the lights or how it was hooked up.

Esther SBetter train employees to handle UHaul rentals. They did not have the truck I had preordered. They gave me the wrong keys. They had the amount of fuel incorrect.
Linwood SI rented 3 U-Haul trucks and a car transport on 8/13/22. The experience I had at the U-Haul in Smithfield was ok but I had to make numerous phone calls only to be put on hold and transfered from traffic, to scheduling, to customer service, and then instead of being transfered to the right place, I was put on hold again telling me they were transferring me to a certain market and winding up going to the wrong market again, and again. I also had issues where 2 of the trucks I rented were routed incorrectly as far as drop off location, and once again I was put on hold, and again was transfered from place to place only to be sent to the wrong place, or to be disconnected and having to call back and start the transfer from department to department again.
Timothy BStaff had us back tow dolly into parking space. They should have done this. The U-Haul was located inside a gas station. They should have at least a counter space dedicated to u-Haul business. The was no area dedicated to just U-Haul.
