I tried to use the phone app and thought everything was done - I hate by the way having to make pictures of my driver's license EVERY time I rent. What is the point in having an account with U-Haul if I have to do it each time.. That was my only complaint. This u-haul location - guys were just super!

I called the location and told him what I was hauling as far as motorcycle because I had rented a regular trailer at first to do it and they told me no I need a motorcycle trailer and I was like OK and thank God I made that call made hauling that motorcycle so much easier thank you U haul

They had overbooked the system and I was without a 20 ft rental. The man working ended up giving my a 15 ft rental that a customer had not picked up yet. I'm not sure whose fault this fails on but they were clearly overbooked at this location and others.

They didn't inspect the equipment and the damage to the trailer was not marked upon checkout. When I dropped it off at the other location the damage was brought up and I had to explain the situation and he believed me as the safety chains that were all hooked up by the employee were missing all of the safety grommets as well.

Miscommunication between personal dealership

The guy that gave me the truck, was inconsiderate and gave me the wrong truck. He changed the contract after it was signed and I left, changing terms and mischarging me. I have to dispute through my credit card company as the person accepting the truck didn't know what to do, so the manager was going to call me which he never did. I tried calling and got no response, but forwarded to customer service for a 25 minute wait. If you want poor service, misrepresented contracts, and overcharged…. this is defined the place.

Better communication between locations and customer service. Reserved a truck with a location on 7 mile and van dyke, got a call a few days for the original Uhaul location on 7 mile and van dyke before pickup saying that the truck was only located at this location. The employee told me I didn't have to do anything and the reservation would be switched to the new location. I went to pick up the truck and they told me they didn't have my reservation, it was at the other location and they didn't even have the truck available. They said that “that location is really bad and does this all the time and that I would have to call customer service”. I called customer service and they first tried to put it off as me being late to pick up the truck and I had to explain again. The lady transferred me to scheduling, they switched my reservation to the location and said there was a truck available. I kept the customer service representative on the phone with me while I talked with the employee at the front desk. They had my reservation but claimed they didn't have a truck after I hung up with customer service. The employee behind the front desk said that the lady on the phone “lied to my face”. They then cancelled someone else's reservation to give me the truck when I didn't ask them to, and tried to make me feel bad by walking off saying “I'm not going to be here when the guy comes to get the truck” because they had to deal with an angry customer later on that day. I was very unsatisfied with my service.

Unfortunately highly unsatisfied with service I received today , first of all I spent time to find a 26 ft truck on location where web site showed available, than adviser called and said that the truck is not available as a result I got today 17 ft truck for the same amount that I would pay for 26 ,which was very inconveniently becauseI was drivingback and forth to move my stuff, also the chart that shows amount of gas with with car should be returned was higher than actual amount on the dashboard (after I asked guys to fix it they did but when people rush and not pay attention on details like that it looks like guys from U-haul want you to pay for some others trips, not nice ) I count my family as a loyal custumers of U-haul company, but today's experience was really upsetting. Best regards, hopefully this review will help you guys to make your service better!

Really, the location and the staff are great; i would only state that the size of the building and the lot are a bit small for the volume and traffic. It's a little tight getting in and out of the lot

The cost was very high and we didn't need the truck for 2 days so it would've been nice to not be charged the same price if we didn't need the truck that long. Besides that the service was great, truck was in good condition, and it went well.

It was very easy and customer friendly the day of the move. The one thing is the U-Haul reservation website is awful. I tried to do it during my lunch and the process took at least 20 minutes which is ridiculous considering I had to show my license and all the other information when I picked up the truck and signed the contract anyway.

I had a scheduled 6:45 pickup. I was running a few min late and called the location on my drive down there. I told the employee that I was running about 10 min late and that I would be there by 6:55. The employee told me to make sure I'm there by 7:00, that they close at 7. I told him no problem, that I was on my way and that I would be there by 6:55. I arrived at 6:53 and the same employee told me that they were closed. I told him this is why I called, but after A Lot of discussion, the result was that he wouldn't let me get my trailer and told me to call UHaul. I was so frustrated. This was specifically why I called. The employee let me drive down to the location, I arrived earlier than I told him and he would not let me pick up my trailer. I wasted an hour and a half of my evening and gas on my tow vehicle (not the most fuel efficient) and didn't have the trailer I needed. I rescheduled the pickup to as early as possible the next morning and was over an hour later than I needed to be for my vehicle move. This is completely unacceptable.

Very kind and genuinely concerned that our car dolly could have caused extreme harm to myself my mom and other travelers. Due to the car not being strapped down properly or with straps that were broken.

Be honest. Mileage was quoted as 0,29 cents a mile charged 0,59 Picked up vehicle at 4:30 returned at 4:50 the following day and was charged for two days.

When I returned the equipment well before the due time. I was told I would get a confirmation within 10-20 minutes of leaving. I had to call into customer service twice both later that day and the following day because it still said that it haven't been returned on the app, and in the craziness of moving it slipped my mind to use the app to check the trailer back in and was never reminded of this. Original check out process was super easy and straightforward but the return left something to be desired.

I even left my house keys in the truck. They called me within 5 minutes of leaving the location. Very quick return process. Awesome experience!

No ramp for ez-load, check engine light was on

The truck felt like it was gonna break down. At 45mph you had a death shake in the front end. The truck was dirty and had a bunch of dents. I have pictures of everything and there was stuff hanging under the dash board. If you want the pictures just email me at steven.kozlowski478@gmail.com

My experience was horrible. First I had my pickup location changed from Groesbevk to here. Then upon arrival at stated time ...there was NO TRUCK there for me!! I was mad, I had people waiting at both places to load and unload. The person working was slower than ever....Finally did get a truck but by then it was already turning more stressful. My experience here was horrible!! Would not recommend at all.

We arrived at 7am and there was one guy working with 5 people waiting. We reserved 2 dozen blankets and were told we could only have 1 dozen even though he had more on hand. He said he had to have some for other customers. He was rude and unorganized.

My truck was due back Tuesday at noon. I brought it back a day early, Monday around 4:30. The young man who took my keys on Monday night was very kind. He said there were 4 trucks in front of me to return, and I didn't need to wait. He said my receipt would be emailed to me. When I got the receipt, which you gave to click into the site to read, I had been charged for an additional day. NOT COOL. I spent 20' on the phone. I did get most of it refunded, but am still waiting for the remaining 0,84 $. No, I don't usually worry too much about $.84, but given the situation, I want every penny owed to me. I would rather donate it to the charity of my choice rather than letting U Haul keep it.

Wipe down the driver/passenger area (cab), especially with this deadly virus killing people. I sprayed Lysol disinfecting spray throughout the front and back before I drove off.

The trailer had a burned out sidmarker light, but more importantly it had a twisted axle. It kept pulling to the driver's side. When vehicle was straight, you couldn't see the passenger side wheel fairing, but most of driver side. Completely unsafe!

I rented a truck the day prior, no keys were left in lock box at 15 and crooks location. Contact support they sent me to hall road and Schoenherr and told me they had a key in the lockbox waiting for me. Upon arriving there was no key in the lockbox as well. Called locally to speak to an area manager and never got a hold of the manager after employees said they'll leave him a message to contact me back. 586-946-0900

The bumper was broke upon pick up which we immediately showed to the attendant. Also, I was going to buy a ratcheting strap but was talked into smaller cheaper straps which I appreciated the person trying to save me money but they were awful and kept slipping.

The fuel gauge is incorrect. We got stranded in the middle of the night because the fuel gauge showed a quarter tank remaining, but was actually completely empty and running on fumes. Aside from that, we drove less than a full tank of gas (roughly 300 miles) but somehow had to fill the entire tank: Meaning that we received the vehicle with what I estimated to be less than a 1/2 of a full tank. We travelled to Grand Rapids and back, which should have used less than a full tank. But we ended up running out of gas early on on our return back to the uhaul facility in Warren. This is unacceptable, dangerous, and borders severe negligence.

luckily I was only using truck for <10 miles or I would have turned around. The transmission was bad. Truck took forever to switch gears and sounded like it was going to blow the engine getting up to speed. Truck was clean though.
