The rental was a 24" which was poorly maintained. The seat did not adjust up or down, and it drove really rough. I had the rental for 4 hours a d was charged $67.00 which was outrages!

I was extremely disappointed with the 24 hour pick up online registration process. I didn't like that you had to give 2 people's phone numbers so uhaul could call them at 7:30 am when I wanted to p/u the truck before the uhaul location opened. It took us about 45 minutes to get through the registration process while we waited in our car, in the cold. Next time uhaul should have the 24 hour p/u registration service available to 24 hours ahead of time, from the comforts of one's home so this doesn't happen again. I will not use this service again, nor would I recommend it.

The associate was incredibly rude when we asked a question regarding our rental. In addition, we went to fill the gas up and checked the gauge while refueling so we didn't over pay for fuel, and the gauge is modified so it never shows a half tank. We ended up paying for a full tank of gas when we were only provided the truck with half a talk. Others have complained of this practice. Will be taking to better business bureau.

The customer service was mediocre at best. The real problem was the Uhaul app. It took so much longer to get my vehicle than if I just went with in-store help. I will definitely not use the app ever again and warn people not to use it.

They told me all trucks come with 1 half tank. The trunk was on empty. I filled the tank and return it 3/4 of a tank. The told me they don't give refunds for gas. It''s in the contract. Being the mgr told me that all truck come with 1/2 tank constitutes a breach of contract. I am unhappy that they can't pay me for the $44.00 I paid for gas.

Reserved a truck 1 week in advance. Truck was not available when I went to pick it up. Had to travel several miles to get a truck from a different location. That location never answered their phone. Called several times, waited on hold for several minutes and always got disconnected. They charged me for all of the miles when the first location told me I would get a miles discount due to the reserved truck not being available. Literally one of the worst experiences with a uhaul ever!!!

Excellent customer service. There was a minor discrepancy with the paperwork, which was quickly resolved. My only suggestion would be to replace the headlights with brighter lights on the 10' truck I rented. The lighting was poor at dusk and the high beams weren't any help either. Fortunately I was familiar driving that section of Highway 1.

The truck bed was dirty and the cab smelled like cigarettes which made my drive quite awful because I got a massive headache from the smell. The tires were slippery in the rain as well and windshield wipers didn't clean very well.

Clunky and not user-friendly app. App states that keys are in back of truck; keys are located inside, meaning you must go inside to retrieve them. Staff did not offer to move cones so I could get the truck out. Parking for customer vehicles poorly designated and inconvenient. Truck tires not properly inflated.

The online check in system was horrible. Caused major delays in obtaining the vehicle and starting our project. Clerk at the store wasn't able to help because everything was stuck in the online system. Such a joke and definitely was not contactless check in.

The inconsistency of online inventory will continue to be one of the most frustrating aspects of using U-Haul. It's obvious the company is making a push to more online less in person transactions yet the various branches can't seem to handle that. Choosing a truck online in a location that's concise tie to for me only to be told moments later that, that truck might now be there when I want it is completely useless and frustrating. Tracking inventory in real time needs to be a bigger priority for uhual.

I used your mobile check in and did not receive a prompt telling me there was a lock on the back of truck for code. I asked the employee working what the code was for and she replied, “I can't tell you, what does your phone say?” It just says a code? Do you need the code to give me a key? I just want the key so I can go. You'll have to look at your phone, she said. I was so disappointed in this persons customer service. But I had moving to do, so I explored the truck on my own and discovered the lock. She should NOT be in customer service. Or perhaps needs better training. I would likely go to another location in the future to avoid unnecessary attitude.

I requested to reserve a 15 ft truck After looking at both the 10 ft and 15ft trucks. I said I want the 15ft truck because it had the mother's attack. The lady helping me reserves the 10ft truck and I did not catch it. My mother just died and I'm not at my best. I wish she had listened to me better. When I showed up to pick up the truck there were no 15ft trucks available. So, instead of one run to my storage, I had to do two runs. Very dissatisfied and disappointed.

I was charged for damage to the truck that was clearly not caused by me. The photos of the front of the truck hadn't been updated since March and when I did my walk around I didn't think to look under the bumper where someone had hit a pole. The manager at this location would not come out to discuss with me. I have always had good experiences with uhaul until this one.

I felt comfortable going into the situation because I was called the night before by an employee at the location wanting to confirm that I was going to be coming early in the morning and told me that everything was ready to go. I showed up on time for my booking at 5:00 a.m. and I did not leave the facility with a truck until 5:40 a.m. I had arrangements for drop offs and pickups so this was very stressful not being able to leave soon after I arrived for my 5:00 a.m. booking. The mobile app was very glitchy and kept kicking me out of the processing page over and over again. After finally getting to the page that illustrates what truck your order is assigned to I went to the back of the truck to unlock the padlock so I could retrieve the key. The page said that the password was DARE. I was able to spell out D, A, and R but when I attempted to move the last row to the letter E I was unable to scroll at all. I spent a good amount of time trying to move the last column for the padlock. I finally decided to try the same code for the truck next to mine and it worked right away. Upon returning my rental I explained to the employee what happened and she told me that I didn't press hard enough on the lock. I spent a lot of time trying to get it to budge. I also explained to her that I put $20 in gas (6 gallons) in the vehicle because I went 44 miles. I voiced my concern because the gas meter did not move at all initially and during the drive over to the return location. The employee ignored me and took a look at the gas gauge. I had my receipt in my hand for the gas and attempted to show her. She completely ignored me. I then asked her about some of the charges that were on my account and she said that I needed to call to figure out what was wrong. She said "I don't know". I explained to her that I was not trying to argue with her. I asked if there was anything she could do to look into it and she told me to call. I then asked her for a printout of the receipt and she told me that she emailed it to me. I went inside to another employee and asked her to print out the receipt and she was very helpful. The second woman that helped me told me I was charged for gas because she said that the tank was at three quarter full when in actuality it was under the three-quarter mark when I picked it up. I explained to her that I appreciated her taking the time because the previous woman completely pushed me away. I have used U-Haul for years and I have gone to this location several times in the past. It was unpleasant because I felt like I wasn't being heard at all and me not being able to unlock the first truck was my fault because I didn't press down hard enough. The second padlock worked right away with zero resistance thankfully.

The pre check in did not save time. I was asked the same questions at the counter, additional questions that could have been entered online, the credit card had to be rerun, multiple signatures on the electronic pad, and then they they printed the papers. When I rent a car the packet and key are ready at the counter.
