My reservation was confirmed for 7 pm Saturday night, when I arrived at 6:50pm one employee outside told me they were open. When I walked into the store another employee named Jaime told me they were closed. I showed him my reservation and explained to him that I was told I could pick it up at 7:00pm, when my reservation was confirmed. He said no we are closed. I told him if I needed to be there earlier I would of and that they should of informed me. He said “no we are closed and I'm going to have to ask you to step out” This came as an inconvenience since I had movers waiting for an overnight move. For next time it'd nice if the pick up time was scheduled appropriately. And if you close at 7pm then close at 7pm not 6:50pm.

Not upsell clients with items that should come with the rental, in my case an adapter to connect trailer wiring to my Yukon. Other than that, the employee that assisted me was straight to business, not very personable. That's all.

They charged me 647,98 but the fee for the rental was 466,51 however they charged me an extra 181,47 more for no reason. The service was very unorganized and charged me extra for no reason.

I made a reservation for an Auto Transport. I received an email confirmation which included the pick-up address. When I arrived, the representative informed me the reservation location was changed to a different city. I checked an email and I never received a call nor an email informing me of this change. This delayed me and caused me to drive further out.

We made reservations weeks in advance. Uhaul changed my pick up location the day of, and switched our pick up time twice. We scheduled the mobile pick up weeks before, and we're told one hour before that they were not doing mobile pick up. The new location made for a longer drive, and adding miles to our rental. Once we picked the truck up, we inspected the equipment to find it didn't come with a lock. You would think we would be told this to keep the equipment safe, and give us time to buy a lock. The drop off location was changed AS WE WERE DRIVING TO DROP THE TRUCK OFF. Completely inconvenient. Since we were told there wasn't mobile pick up we assumed no mobile drop off. We were confused, and had no idea how to drop the truck off. Other than being able to move our belonging, the entire experience was awful. The customer service was bad, the pick up/ drop off process was frustrating, and we were told the extra miles for pick up would be waived. They weren't.

The wiring from the trailer they were trying to rent to me was hanging out from the bottom of the trailer and the lights weren't working. The person helping me didn't even try to check. I had to. If renting from here please remember to check.

Our UHaul experience was terrible. Everything went smoothly when our UBox was shipped from New York to LA. Honestly a miracle because our experience in California has been really awful. We needed our UBox delivered to our new home, so we called every single day trying to find someone to help us schedule that. We got many customer service reps telling us “oh yes, someone else has to do that they will call you”. Every time we heard this no one EVER called us. So each day we would check back in trying to find our box and see if it could be delivered. Turns out the UBox can not be delivered to our address so they have to transfer the box. We were told it would be scheduled for transfer the next day and we would receive a call. So we waited a full 24 hours and never got a call. So we had to call and turns out our box was never transferred……and no one thought to call us and let us know?!? Here we are waiting for our box so we can finally get our things and no one lets us know the transfer suddenly can't happen due to a “lack of drivers”. Okay cool so we say great we will pick it up our selves in a truck. We schedule a truck with a woman the day before we went to move and our UBox reservation. We get to our truck pick up, the woman the day before told us this would be a one way truck. We get there and the guy tells us these are only local trucks so we cannot take it unless we want to drive another hour back with the UHaul. So no we don't want to do that because that's expensive and a waste of time and we were told this location had a one way. It is also located near our Box. So we call and schedule a new truck and have to take ANOTHER Uber, just a lot of money being thrown away at this point, to a new truck location. Okay finally something goes right and we get a truck. U Haul. Your customer service reps are almost entirely incapable of helping your customers. We had the worst experience and we will not be using you again. The most helpful person was the lady helping us unload our U Box. Thank you to her she was a dream after a long nightmare of service and disorganization. I would suggest you spend your money elsewhere. Thank you,

Truck was dirty. Truck had lots of outside damages that were not listed I took pictures of all of them before I left the lot! I booked online, waited over 1 hour for my truck!! Truck did not have 1/2 a tank of fuel I filled it up a little over 1/2! I did not get reimbursement for the extra fuel or for cleaning the truck!

You guys cost us 500 $by calling less than 12 hrs before our move and changing truck size and screwing up our move schedule by doing that. We had a one way move and could not take all of our furniture. Its a shame and disrespect to your customers. Never going to recommend to anyone and planning to take legal action.

They need more workers. I wait over 45mins to get the truck. I was in line for about 30mins then waited 15mins for the truck to come out. There was only two guys there with about 7 people in line. If we have an appointment we should be helped at that time

A little bit of trash was left in the trailer, old rope, old tie downs that we're knotted on a cross member. The only issue I really did not care for was U-Haul photographs that were taking of me. It's one thing to take a picture of a vehicle hitch system it's a whole nother to take license plate hitch system and a photograph of the customer. That part I found a little overbearing and overboard on the customers side. But I also understand the reasoning behind it but I feel there should be a different way it can be done.

I want to especially commend Jaime, who did an incredible job of wiring my vehicle, as the wiring pack on it had been cut off. I didn't know until we got ready to hook up, He immediately went to work to wire up the vehicle. It was an "emergency" rental, as I had a GUARANTEED reservation at another facility but the U Haul dealer pulled the reservation less than 24 hours before I was to pick up. This necessitated lengthy phone conversations with U Haul and had to get to manager level before a trailer was found 25 miles away from original pick up location. That was the Cudahy facility. So I really, really want to praise Jaime at Cudahy, as he went well and beyond to provide outstanding service. However the interaction with the U Haul agent on the phone when I called to find out about the cancelled reservation was not only unhelpful, but was rude and condescending. I had to ask for a manager so that I could try to remedy the situation. I had already paid for help to load up on the 21st and was moving so that my apartment was not available after the 22nd. However, U Haul was trying to tell me that I could not get a trailer until the 24th. I found it hard to believe that in the Orange/San Bernardino county area there were no trailers to be found I am sympathetic to supply chain problems with the effects of the pandemic, but clearly the word GUARANTEE holds no meaning for the U Haul company. If not for Jaime at Cudahy, I would rate the entire U Haul experience a 0.
