The app to pick up truck was horrible. Froze outside forever because once you get to awaiting approval it takes a good half hour. Thankfully they finally opened and I got it done inside. One person was rude as hell while the other was very helpful. However returning the truck on the app was easy.

It was suggested to me the $19.95 truck. I told the receptionist I didn't think it was going to be big enough. She advised it would be big enough. It took 4 trips to retrieve my belongings. I still have items I need to move. That caused me to put more than double the amount for gas. It also caused me to pay more money for way more mileage. I will never use U haul again. I will never recommend U haul to anyone I know.

My experience at that location was one of the worse I've ever been to. The black male with the big beard was very rude. I'll never go there again. Other customers were there saying how rude he was and that he didn't help them with anything. I wish I could give a lower rating.

The environment and customer service was below standard. There were too many assumptions on customers which made checking in and checking out very frustrating. For example , assuming everyone has a cell phone and assuming everyone can read!!!!

I rent the the truck for around 60 to 90 minutes and put 6 miles and got charged 100 miles that’s Ridiculous try to talk to the supervisor she said I did put 100 miles when the agent I really talk to when picked the truck said it was no way I put 100 miles I 90 minutes my wife was driving behind she clocked me using only 6 miles in her car odometer . That was fraud from there number they wrote in there paper that had 2598 miles . When I picked it up it had almost 2700 miles

The employees were not friendly, not helpful, had me do check out even though I returned during regular hours. The online fuel gage did not coincide with the paper. The truck had shifting problems and was very heavily damaged on the side. The sliding door was rough to open and close as well as the ramp. Worst truck I’ve ever had.

This is a very difficult location for those who work there. It's basically inner city, or at least very busy with low income, poorly educated clientele. The location is small for the vehicle demand. And it appears there are not enough employees to handle the business load which then stresses out the ones brave enough to take on the task.

on a busy Saturday they had 2 people on but only 1 working the counter and she was not a ball of energy. it took her over 15minutes to process each customer. i would rent from the other side of town before i ever went to this location again.

My truck was filthy on the outside, covered in mud, gas level wrong, front bumper hanging down, and covered in black x’s. I booked it on line, waited in line 50 minutes to pick up, and was disappointed, I have used u haul before, but I will look into other companies on my next rental

Terrible mobile pickup system. Our reservation was for 10am and we had so much trouble with it that we didn’t get to take the uhaul truck until 11:30. We lost so much time in our moving day and it made our whole day much more stressful! Awful experience!!!!!!

The African American gentleman that was there was rude and lazy. First of the truck I reserved he didn't have. Then, he gave me a smaller truck which was dirty with mud. Would not recommend this location. I should Of gotten a discount for the truck being dirty.

There was an irate and rude customer in the line, who had been there for several hours harassing the staff. The staff (including and off the clock staff member) was able to handle the situation and expedite the 10 or so customers that we're also waiting. These guys were super helpful and friendly to me. Thanks!

I hired Moving Help with a contractor called Silent Labors on Thursday evening. Their dispatcher called me on Saturday, the day of the move, at 6:55 AM to confirm the appointment. I called them back 15 minutes later when I saw the missed call (my phone is on silent until 7). She took my information (seemed they could have gotten that off the reservation, and said she would call the "technician" to confirm. 90 minutes later, when I'm at the UHaul location signing out my truck, the dispatcher calls to tell me they "don't work on weekends." So now I'm loading by myself. Strike 1. When I told this to the desk clerk she shrugged and said, "I don't know nothin' about that. They're subcontractors." No empathy. Strike 2. Every time I asked a question the staff told me to "just follow the prompts on the website." No help with the sign-in. Strike 3. The cab of the truck reeked of weed. Strike 4. I rented a truck for 24 hours. The app told me to have it back in 6 hours. Strike 5. When I did bring the truck back in 6 hours, the only person at the location was a cleaner. He yelled at me from a distance to log into uhaul.com to return the truck. Rude. Strike 6. The same guy asked, "Is this your car? They were gonna tow it." So in the course of ignoring me during equipment pick-up, no one bothered to tell me where I could and could not park my car. And they didn't call my cell phone to ask if it was my car. Strike 7. When I called Moving Help for my refund because Silent Labors was a no-show, the woman from customer service was sympathetic, but when I told her they said "We don't work weekends, but we can help you on Monday." she said, "That's strange because they took other jobs today...." Oh, so they lied to me? You're fired. The bottom line, I'm telling everyone I know what a horrible customer experience I had with UHaul. I am an ex-customer. Goodbye.

The parking lot is tiny so the trucks are all tightly packed, making it difficult to park the truck and leave the parking lot. It all worked out in the end, I felt satisfied with the customer service and the truck.

The experience I received from this location was awful and the way the staff talks to the customer very terrible I believe that all staff at the location on lake ave. Rochester ,NY need to be fired or retrained on how to speak to people and act towards people they have no home trying I would never tell a friend or family member to go there at all over all experience was dreadful never using them again

The attendant on duty was about as rude as a person could be. Not a hello, a thank you or a goodbye. He never got up from his seat. He only demanded drivers license and credit card. As he highlighted information on the printout he did not even look up and only stopped when I asked him to show me how much fuel was in the truck. He never advised me to go over the truck nor did he. He did get up and tossed the keys at me and said the truck was in a rear lot. When I asked him what the truck number was since it was pouring rain, he looked at the number on the key tag and said that's the number. I had never been treated so poorly by any U-Haul employee. If your company only hired that caliber of an individual, U-Haul would go out of business within 2 weeks.

Customer service was good. The Reps explained the contract and insurance options in detail. They also assisted in hooking up the trailer. The parking lot should be cleaned off trash and debris.

It was clean but there is lack of room. Vehicles were backed up being returned and there is no parking for your personal vehicle. You have to park on street. Also, the driver side door of the truck would not lock/unlock with a key. I had to climb over from the passenger side door.
