The uhaul I got was extremely beat up. I took it anyways, because I flew from Philadelphia to pick up my belongings from NY so I could move. Within 2 hours, I noticed the drivers side headlamp was not working. I called this location, and they said to take it to another uhaul to fix it because they couldn't. I drove to 3 other uhauls in Rochester, NY, all which said they could not fix it because their techs went home or they couldn't work on the vehicle because it wasn't from their location. I was told by an employee at the last location I went to, to call roadside service because they had to come and fix the problem. I was supposed to leave that day to get into my apartment in Philadelphia. This had already eaten up 2 hours of my driving time, so I decided it was best to stay in Rochester. A mechanic from roadside service eventually showed up with a tow truck. He was given the wrong info from the roadside assistance/ dispatch, and was planning on towing the truck. He got upset about uhaul giving him the wrong repair information, and stated yelling at me. I was already upset, so I started crying because I'd already been having a lot of trouble with uhaul. He went to go get the right part from a store and fixed the issue. I couldn't get on the road when I was supposed to. Overall, it was a bad experience.

I put in 4,7 gallons. by your estimate of 26 miles i drove, i got 3,7 mpg! plus the guy said i returned the truck at 5pm when in fact it was 2 hours earlier.! not happy! i drove less than 35 mph and did not even fully load the truck. i will try a different location for the next moves this june and august.
