Start up the vehicle for the customer on a flat surface to give a proper reading of the gas level.. check all engine lights are off and not on before sending a vehicle out with a customer.

I pulled up to the marked drop off point and after several minutes of waiting for someone to come out, I began the lengthy process of checking in the truck via my phone. I went through the multiple steps, took all my pictures, and was then asked where I wanted to park my truck. I found a spot to put it, locked it up, and per mobile instruction, was looking for the key drop. It was at this point that someone came out from inside and asked if I was returning a truck. I said I had just completed the return on my phone. She said "You're not supposed to park it. You are supposed to wait at the check-in point for help." I told her no one came out, so I returned it via mobile. She said OK - and I left. If mobile return isn't an option, U-Haul shouldn't have sent me a mobile link to do it that way.

i had requested a receipt by email but have NOT received it i dropped the truck off earlier this afternoon and was told that my receipt would be sent by email i returned the truck without damage, with rented equipment, before the due date/hour, with more gas than when provided, and with less mileage than allowed thanks bob

There were food crumbs on the floor and under the seat when picked up. The right turn signal didn't work when the headlight switch was turned on. Your mileage rate.99 is too high. Other than that, the truck ran well.

The lady at the service desk siad the truck had 1/2 tank of fuel which it did NOT.... barely 1/4. I disputed through the app, and after returning the truck in Florida, I was charged for 3 gals. I had to call and "dispute" AGAIN, over the phone to get refunded. It's a "racket" for Uhaul to charge people for fuel...... Shame on you guys..

Drop off location recognized my issues were valid but failed to credit or compensate me for my over experience, major inconveniences and delays. Receiving Uhaul agent said “these things happen from time to time” which implied Uhaul was not responsible and therefore didn't take on the true liability. Very poor experience with Uhaul and will never use them again as a result.

The location called me back and asked if we had returned the items to which we had hours ago. I was very annoyed with their questioning bc I had specifically asked for a receipt to confirm that my return was completed and they said email will be sent. Another guy grabbed the phone from the person I was speaking with and asked “sir do you have the vehicle”. Very unprofessional and would not recommend this place.

I was disappointed and surprised by the lack of attention to customer service. First I arrived and 3 associates were outside as I approached the entrance. Made eye contact with a associate and the group continues for 7-10 talking until I went outside and asked for help. Secondly, I returned the vehicle half way through the day because steering was terrible, engine light was on. I found steering to be very unsafe. I will rent a vehicle in a few day to finish my work from another location. I was first surprised no one ask any specific question about the vehicle issues. Someone else will get the vehicle. Secondly, I felt a replacement should have been offered or a discount applied. To there defense, they asked if they can see if there is another vehicle available and I replied I will need to do it in a couple days because of the time I lost with this vehicle. So they just closed out the acct. I was a regular at this location but haven't been using U-Haul services as much. Please note I find the new manage friendly and interested in offering good service. The entire staff appears to be new,for sure this location.

Hello: You need to know that your retail location located at 900 Roswell St, Marietta, GA 30060 (770) 428-6220 is non customer-friendly in every way possible. I rented a 15 foot truck from this location 3/26/22. I reserved the truck online well in advance on 3/17/22 (order number 29380757). The morning of my rental date I was called directly by your General Manager La Nina Khayyam threatening to cancel my reservation and proceeded to lecture and berate me as if I was a child about my rental arrival time as if there were hundreds of people waiting at the store for my truck rental. I've been a customer of U-Haul hundreds of times in the past, never have I been treated like this before. I had a confirmed reservation for 8 hours no matter if I arrived at 7am or 8am or 9am. I arrived at this location to pick the truck up and there were no other customers present and one single employee working alongside Miss La Nina Khayyam. My wife completed the rental transaction as I observed. No greeting whatsoever, no customer service, no explanation of policies. It was the worst example of customer service I have witnessed at a U-Haul location.  I have never used this location for my business and will never use it again. If this is a representation of leadership qualities at U-Haul then your hiring policies have failed the customer. If anyone reading this email cares about retaining a long-term customer I would love to discuss this matter in greater detail, but I don't expect to hear from anyone. The young lady serving the counter was very immature? When I was inline to turn in the van, she was checking in vehicles as well. When she finished with the vehicle in front of me she walked pass me to the vehicle behind me. It was obvious they knew one another. When I question her as why she walked passed, looked at me, and went to vehicle behind me! Her comment was “I am blind!” Not only will I never visit this site again, I will certainly share my experience with the members of the two Boards I currently serve on, one of them being Kennesaw State University!

The GM-La Nina Khayyam and the evening manager were excellent. Polite, welcoming, helpful..excellent representatives for your company. However, one of your evening attendants checking vehicles in accused me of "running in and grabbing moving blankets and throwing them in the truck"....without any substantiation AT ALL! I have never been so disrespected or insulted and have never been accused of "taking" something in my life. When asked what he was talking about he started saying he saw me "run in, grab blankets and throw them in the truck"...when I showed him the blankets that I had rented with my truck the bags were already open and the blankets folded. Rather than apologizing he simply walked off and when confronted about his accusation lied by then saying "I didn't accuse you of anything". Luckily my 13 year old son was present for the entire time and confirmed that he had in fact accused me of taking the blankets. First of all, this came completely out of the blue. I'm not even sure where he came from and at no time had I actually entered the building. Secondly, the irony of his lies was that I had left my son with the truck and taken my car so I could return to my house where I had "left" the blankets. Lastly, I had rented blankets so why on Earth would I then "grab" blankets from the building....which again I had not entered at ANY time since pulling into the facility? It completely ruined what had otherwise been a VERY good experience. I have need for another van rental to complete my move in a weeks time and will NOT be returning to this location. This employee should be fired for making false accusations against a customer without ANY evidence AT ALL. If I had been more astute and less tired from moving all day I should have called the police on him and filed a report. To say I am extremely upset at his actions would be an understatement and he is the single reason I will not only NOT rent from that facility while he remains working there, I will also make sure to use every social media and google review to warn other people of this completely unacceptable behaviour. I really don't expect anything action from these feedback sureys but at least somewhere it is on record.

The manager on duty (Nina I believe), went above and beyond and helped make a stressful move easier on us. I've rented several Uhauls in the past and have typically had a good experience, but her customer service was unbeatable. Uhaul is very fortunate to have her and the other associate we worked with on their team!

Have your employees acknowledge there customers and no have us sitting in lobby for over 30 minutes and when you tell them what they did wrong they talk shit and are very rude. I will never get another U-Haul from this location. You can't find not one employee.

Nina the manager refused to rent a truck after reserving one due to a flat tire & needing a locksmith, separate times within months) I was told to get out of the store not renting a reserved truck which I've rented numerous 8 times. She's very crass & prejudice!

The overall service of uhaul. I booked a truck. Got an email that my reservation was not complete then rebooked a truck for my moving needs. They called to change my pick up location. When I arrived at the new location ( canton road) they told me my reservation was moved to another location ( Roswell road) as they could not let me have one of the 3 trucks sittings out front as they were not in service. Then promptly gave one to the next guy that walked in. While I waited on a Uber to take me to the Roswell road location. They did offer me a $50 credit but did not process it. When I arrive at Roswell road they said they could not give me a credit because the other store needed to give me that credit. If the credit was not applied by today, Monday, then to call corporate and ask them for it. In the mean time I have movers sitting for 2 hrs waiting on a truck because of the truck rental issues. Overall experience was horrible.

This is a top notch U-Haul facility. The staff is professional and timely in responding to communications. And the facility is modern. It always clean, well lit, easily accessible, smells good, quiet and room temperature. I was a bit concerned when I had to get a unit on the 2nd level but once I actually drove around to the unit, it was street level from the side street and had 2 garage doors for loading/unloading regardless of weather conditions.

Bait and switch. I lined up a truck and free storage for a month and did not get the truck I wanted at the time I needed it. I stayed because of the one month free rent which I found was not a true offer and the unit I got has a building column in it reducing the square footage. This has all been put online as well. There is nothing like being trapped by you.

Very rude and unhelpful worker at the desk. I was charged for a unit that was supposed to be free for the first month, and the manager refused to resolve the issue when I brought it to her attention. I was reimbursed after going through corporate, following several hours of my own time spent explaining the situation. I will avoid this location moving forward.

Whoever the assistant manager there should definitely be fired. She harassed us the entire time we were trying to break the lock off our storage unit. This lady was rude, condescending, unhelpful, unprofessional, and had the nerve to run up on us with two other employees. The other two employees were no help. The assistant manager made threats to us our whole stay and also threatened to call there cops on us after we called a locksmith to help us due to them being completely useless! I will never recommend U-Haul storage again! Y'all suck!

My experience with Uhaul was the worst. Moving is already stressful and my horrible experience added to this stress. The storage unit I was given was roach infested and I was accused of bringing them with me which is not the case otherwise I wouldn't have complained about them. I was then initially told I had to move my stuff out of the unit after I paid a company to move it in. After complaining about the situation, the manager there worked with me and reassured me she would take care of it. I appreciate everything that she did to make the experience less stressful and she was very helpful in getting my things moved to another unit while I was out of the country. However, the moving company that they hired destroyed my TV stand in the process. The staff worked with me after I expressed how upset I was; however, it was a horrible experience for me.

Zakiya Blair is the GM at this location and she has been nothing short of phenomenal in dealing with our particular situation. Moving across the country is very stressful and she has listened to us and worked with us from the start. She goes above and beyond what a typical business person would do. I highly recommend this location as the staff is following her lead and are only going to continue to be successful.

Pick time was 1pm I arrived at 1230pm waited 45mins for a truck.The weekend of 5th of June my reservation was for 1pm I arrived at 104pm I had been bumped truck was given to someone else. This is poor customer service I wouldn't recommend this facility.

I just moved into the area and I reserved The wrong storage unit for my items. I went And met Ms. Blair and she showed me a unit and was extremely helpful and eased my worry! Things are wonderful.

I had a great experience with this U-Haul location, both with my truck rental and storage rental. The facility is very well maintained. The Saturday I came to check out of storage (and pick up / drop off a truck to move everything) it was very busy and the staff was as patient as any

Your systems are awful. I reserved a unit online, and Terrence tried to assign me one TWICE, and they were both occupied. He has no visibility to which units are available and which ones are occupied. So I didn't stand a chance at getting a unit at UHAUL.

My door access code still does not work. I can only get to my unit during 'operating hours.' I stopped by the front desk in the first couple of days and was told that online move-ins are rarely able to complete properly and that corporate would need to fix my code as it all looked right in the system here. They said it might take a day or two for the code to work. Still nothing.

Finding the entry to the property with a truck for the first time was a bit obscure, but everything after was more than I'd expect at least from what I am used what I am accustomed to from other U-Haul storage facility. This is a more modern experience with special drive up ramp for different vehicle and digital key access.

Each time I needed space or assistance, they treated me like a long-time local friend, and made me welcome while quickly solving my problem. From the time I set foot in Georgia this location helped me get moved into my storage with ease. Every employee in this location is very kind and truly made me feel at ease. Using U-Haul for my move from Chicago has been a horrific experience BUT thIs location in Georgia with the General Manager Zakiya leading her team. Gerald, Terrance and another young guy you would NEVER go wrong. The phrase "I CAN HELP YOU" is the definition of every one of them. Thank You Tobice Terrell

Arrived on July 5,2020 around 6:00 pm the door access to get in too storage was locked couldn't get into my storage. Another also had too leave due no access. The sliding and the Mandoor was locked.

The staff seemed to be confused most of the time. Always overcharged me so I am still waoting on a refund of late fees they say I owed every month even though I was not due to the last day of the month and paid early most times.

We moved out on March 14, continued to get notices we had not paid our April bill, telling us we were being charged a late fee. Left two messages for Ms. Blair and also sent an email and never got a returned call back. This kind of management will run you out of business . I own a moving company and will never recommend this facility to our customers . The lack of customer service is unconscionable. No excuse for not responding back to me.
