Car was way past an oil change, the truck was so beat up on the outside all the plastic in the bedliner was flapping around . Very stressful trip using this truck to say the least. I even returned it before I was done because I was uncomfortable using it.JACK R.

U Haul Customer service called me 10 min after leaving rental location on SEPT. 29, 21 and requested if i would drop off unit at a specific location on 32 st in N. PHX She said another FAMILY needed it and I would be helping out and that it is "ONLY 7" miles" away from my home for a 25 $REFUND ON RENTAL. I agreed to help out the FAMILY? or was it just the U HAUL corporate Family?but I still have several issues with this. As of today I have hot seen the credit back (11 day of 6 business days) Also NOTE that your employee misrepresented the distance as only 7 miles away to me and it was actually 14 miles away and 18 minutes in EACH direction i had to drive drive when I could have dropped it off on Hayden Rd which is only 3,2 miles or less then 8 minutes away. I should also be compensated for the additional 21,2 miles wear n tear on my vehicle and physical and mental stress to travel the extra miles and time to drop it off for your convince. at an minimum 21,2 miles x 0,56 cents / mile at the standard daily government rate is at least &12 you saved in millage alone without the cost of having your employee and a vehicle coasts to relocate it from another location.PETER S.

Have the vehicle's fuel tank on full and require the customer to return it that way. I received the truck with a quarter of a tank of fuel. The first thing I had to do was fill it up.TODD D.

Loved the furniture pads! That really helped. But our Ubox wouldn't close without lifting the door with a crowbar! Door wasn't cut right or something so that was a pain, but we eventually got it closed.Lois K.

Returned trailer after hours. Sketchy location at night! Followed instructions but website wasnt able to locate my position even after I followed the instructions to the letter? I ended up dropping off in their back parking lot. Nobody has contacted me since? Ive tried to call twice only to be kept on hold for 20 minutes. The last time a uhaul corp rep picked up and asked me to hold while he attempted to contact the site. After 10 more minutes he disconnected on me??? I give up at this point.CHARLES P.

2 things. First one is that the Van was clean except the passenger seat had dog hair all over it and was not noticed until my wife gave me an ear full about it the day we used it. The other issue was the fact that we had to go to another location to pick up the van. Was to pickup at Deer Valley and the night before received a call to pick up van at a new location. No number was left just go to the Bell/32nd street facility, its only a few miles further. The other location was another 15mi round trip out of our way (passing another closer location) to get to it. The other thing was adding about 50-60 mins of wasted time to get to the new location and was told we had to return to that further location as well. We could not return to the original pick-up place. Basically, in a nutshell it was inconvenient with time, mileage and time of pick-up where we encounter construction work and rush hour traffic.PETER E.

The entire process was a shit show at best. Where do I start? From the very beginning my reservation was wrong. I asked for a one way with a different destination drop off and was told that's what I receiving. WRONG. I had been given a locational truck which I didn't find out until the day it was supposed to be returned. I called the location that I should've been able to drop it off at and explained that I had seen the location had been changed to where I had originally picked up. I did not know at this time that it was a locational truck. The man on the phone told me it wouldn't be a problem at all and that he actually needed the size truck I was driving 26' so it worked out great for him (his words) per his recommendation I returned the truck k to that location. A few hours later I received a phone call from U-Haul wondering why I hadn't dropped the truck off. To make a long story short I ended up having to drive the truck back another 45 miles to the original destination, which let me state clearly WAS NOT MY FAULT, but I tried to understand as the customer service rep ensured me I wouldn't be charged ANY additional fees as this was NOT my fault. So tell me why I got an additional charge today from U-Haul for nearly 100 $?! You've got me fucked sideways. I will be dealing with corporate tomorrow and I expect a FULL return for this whole incident that has cost me time and extra money for others' mistakes and basic incompetence with communication. Individual that helped me was a complete jerk. After driving for 9 hours, I walk into store. Tell the man my name, and he's looking at me like he doesn't see my reservation. So I ask him, is this 16226 N 32nd? He says, the Shadow Mtn store? I said I don't know, and ask again, is this 16225 N 32nd??! He says, the Shadow Mtn ? I said, do you not know the address here?? I ask this as maybe he is from another store, and if I'm at the wrong location, I need to get in my car, with my 75 year old dad waiting, and find the right U-Haul store. This guy has a smirk on his face the whole time like it's a big word game. Do you not know the address here?? Why won't you tell me the address here???! He then says, calm down!! Tells me to calm down??? WTF is wrong with your personel?? All I wanted to know was if I was in the right location, it's 100degrees out and I can't believe this jerk is doing this. So he tells me to just calm down and we'll get you checked out. Rudest, most obnoxious person I've ever met. I spent over 600 $and this is how I'm treated. Very very inappropriate, rude and not meant for customer service. I'm a woman and I felt threatened and bullied. Stay clear of this location!;!!Jessica T.

The paperwork is extensive. And feel as though I was assumed to be a criminal in renting from U-HAUL. The equipment [car trailer] is designed well for the application. BUT the intensive interrogation, of paperwork, for a guy like myself who comes in WITH HIS OWN 10' U-HAUL BOX to Tow it with is overboard! I will look for other Vendors Next time. I didn't come in with a little P.O.S pickup to Tow it with! Is it your Truck?? Have you ever Towed a trailer before?? Is your hitch adequate?? I get it,... you get a lot of numb-nuts... BUT HEY, take a look at the customer. And the kid at the desk acted like he has some neurological problem...NICE KID! BUT HE WAS scary! I thought he was going to pass out behind the counter.ROGER M.

I'm handicap & I had to move. But I have hired help. I went for the truck and it was parked down the street the guys at the counter did not greet me. Toke my information and and disappeared.. I mean he gave me the keys so I turned towards the front windows to wait for them .to inspect it like they do and pull it up. Well they did they expected me with one leg to walk all that way . I told them I'm handicap your going to have to go get it. They where mad . But I'm I can't walk how embarrassing it . They did not mark down all the damage of the truck they give me. They did not even have the mileage right it's off bye 17 miles when I started so now I will be over charged when it was only 13 miles that we did .. I hoping to get a Partial refund for being over charged and discrimination really thank you Sincerely Manuel ValdiviaMANUEL V.

Get people that know what they are doing or get customer service to actually answer the phone instead of it hanging up on you. After this experience i would never rent or reccomend uhaul to anyone i know. Took almost 2 hours to get a trailer because the first one did not have working lights and the guy tried to tell me I'm good to go. Thank God I checked before i left. This same guy did not attach the Ball to the hitch the right way and when i got to the drop off location the bolt was loose almost completely off. Not to mention they send me to a drop off location that is closed on the day I'm supposed to drop the trailer off. I call customer service they don't answer. I call the people at the pickup location they are rude and tell me there is nothing they can do. Of course customer service just keeps hanging up on me. I go to the nearest location near my drop off location and the lady tells me she has to charge me 200 $for a different drop off location. Then i ask to speak to her manager to explain the situation and he tells me no problem they will take care or it for me. Your people are trash and you run a fucking circus for a business you guys literally could have killed me and my family if that trailer detached.PHILLIP C.
