jean H.The service was less than welcoming; the young attendant was rude and belligerent. We explained that with the 32 miles than we had done, the $10 in gas we had put into the tank was more than sufficient; there was obviously a discrepency in the gas guage. He still insisted on charging us $21 more for gas (equating overall to $1 of gas per mile). In a previous rental with U-Haul the gas guage had also malfunctioned; this seens to be a thing with U-Haul, semingly making more money in fake gas charges than on the rental itself... Anyway, the young attendant's deneanor seemed to be more that of a bounty hunter than that of a customer service attendant!

JONATHAN D.They didn't keep our reservation of the appliance dolly we needed, so we were left with only the truck and had to find our own dolly from a neighbour even though I reserved the truck and dolly a month before the move date. They also didn't bother to view the online purchase/reservation had a mattress cover that I prepaid for, so we had to go back to the location when we saw we were missing it. The staff left us waiting over 15 minutes before even bothering to show interest that we were there waiting when we arrived at our pickup time. The whole thing was delayed well over 30 mins. Then the tank of the truck was way below what it said it would be, so we ended up paying extra for fuel (had to fill up twice because the tank was so low to begin with). The whole experience sucked. But we also had no other option for this part of our move so you pay a lot and have bad service and no other options.

The tires on the truck are completely inadequate for winter driving making the trip stressful and sometimes dangerous even with a highly experienced careful driver. The truck got stuck frequently on my flat residential street with 3 inches of snow. Needed chains and help to get it going. The location staff were courteous and tried their best.

olayinka P.I didn't even know the location was open when I dropped it off on Sunday around 1pm. I didn't see the drop box, so I went inside to drop off the key. I walked in and the employee just stared at me! I said hi man how's it going ? I got silence and stares. I explained I was dropping off a key for the “24/7 truck share†Can I leave the key with you?, I said. He looked to his colleague for approval and his colleague just nodded. I said ok, we'll have a good day…he spoke and said “okayâ€. I thought wow, but whatever…until he calls me an hour later interrogating me and intimidating me with cleaning fees of up to $120 and that his manager will call me Monday. Like what did I, a very nice person, do to this guy for him to talk to me that way. Trust me. I never do these surveys but this was by far the most idiotic encounter of my years! Good luck with that!
Fadi D.I would have given you excellent however when we arrived it was 6 PM and in my mind I thought you closed at 7 PM on Sunday we got out in front of the U-Haul store, and quickly a young man arrived, we could not make out who he was he had no idea, he did not introduce himself, he did not explain anything other than started to shout that we would get a ticket if we parked there and we were to move immediately and we said Pardon? We were trying to read the signs in the dark and we were trying to understand where to park and it was cold and we were trying to transfer our belongings from the truck to the car and he was just screaming at us to get park somewhere else. He was irrational loud vindictive nasty mean spirited and rude! I don't even know if he was one of your employees but it was a terrible experience he needs to be taught manners talking to clients and valuing them even after hours even when he's tired or he doesn't feel well or he had a bad day and not take it out on people who are trying to figure things out my husband was so confused he ended up locking the keys in the car for a car and then he ended up putting the key of the truck in the lock box before we could even move the truck. Then we spent about an hour trying to figure out with U-Haul on the phone what to do because we were afraid that we were going to get some kind of ticket in a fire lane as he had threatened us. It was a terrible terrible into our day we were tired exhausted and we didn't need somebody screaming at us and then leaving speeding out of the parking lotWith his little sports car squealing his wheels angry as all get out. I don't know who he was wouldn't tell us his name terrible just terrible. Apart from that the two men inside made up for anything this guy said or did. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to say this I didn't wanna call and complain and I certainly don't want him to lose his job however he certainly needs had to be taught manners and courtesy towards his own clients that pay his salary.

Michael C.I tried speaking to customer service (Gerald) at 07:25 at the rental branch in the morning to let him know I wasn't able to do the return on my cell yesterday October 28th and that I needed a copy of the invoice sent to a different email address. He wasn't helpful at all, had a horrible attitude and was extremely sarcastic & rude. It's not the first time I rent a truck at this branch and therefore I know that what I was asking him for is doable, he was just not willing to do it. I was in shock when he hung up on me. It's unfortunate your phone calls are not recorded so he can receive the proper “how to & customer service etiquette†training.

Louis C. | Expérience généraleThe website mention that we get a month free when we rent a truck, but once on the premises, I was told I was not having a month free because they were almost full and then said because I was dropping the truck back to the same place. I thought the website was misleading. After explaining The manager offered me the month free. It would also be nice to explain which truck have a ramp or not to load. Our truck didn't have one and the unloading stations for 2nd floor at the warehouse for the truck I rented was broken and the other needed a ramp, which made it extremey difficult to unload our thing to put in the storage, we were storing very heavy equipment and lifting it 2 feet high just to put it on the dock was hard and took us more time. We were very disappointed for that.

Ce matin j'ai reçu une charge de 150.pour bris! Je me suis rendu sur place On me refuse l'accès me disant que ça a été réparé hier. Je demande une photo elle me montre une photo sur son propre cellulaire qui n'a ni date ni no de casier!!! J'ai avert Visa ,ils ont inscrit qu'il y avait contestation Comme j'ai 80 ans j'ai aussi communiqué avec le groupe d'avocats qui quand on est membre de la FADOQ peuvent nous aider gratuitement. Ils trouvent la preuve que m' a présenté Sheena n'en pas une et comme j' ai trois personnes qui ont vu le dit casier,vous devriez arranger les choses Janine Lebel

When I arrived at the facility, the staff told me that they do not give a free month and that if I want free I should go to Laval or Lachine and they made me pay for the first month.

I called multiple times because the stairs were covered in snow. It would also have been nice if there was some lighting over the storage units themselves and not solely in the hallways.
