L'emplacement est facile d'accès. La prise de possession était simple et rapide. Le camion fonctionnait très bien. Le retour a été super rapide. Je n'ai eu aucun problèmes de facturation, aucun frais cachés, un vrai bon prix, le meilleur! Je le recommande à tous. Je suis très satisfait. Merci
I had to wait 20min for the check in (the keys actually) even if i did the online check in, the truck is old, we can't see in mirror and the windscreen was broken.
Thé receptionist during our first checking was not helpful. She was tired or upset, mumbling something and couldn’t even answer a basic questions as that was was our first experience with U-Haul. In the end The on floor guy answered everything and told her who to ask and what to do. It was a bit weird communication experience and felt like we owe something to her or disturb her. The rest was very smooth and well organized.
had a good experience. trucke surprisingly very clean in the cab and cargo area. However, expected the paid for 12 blankets to be in the cargo. was not mentionned by the clerk I had to grab them myself, therefore ended up with no blankets upon arrival and load up:/. and personnel need to lean to speak french please:) Brakes were a little jumpy. Other than that everything up to par. ty. good cie ðŸ‘

no winter tire is very dangerous! it ever got me delayed cos fucking about... it was a very stressful experience and I was pretty angry. I posted about that on Facebook and I just cannot believe getting stock in 20cm of snow as I get out of a snow bank with my little car without a shovel...

I tried the cell phone check in. It took us 45 minutes sitting in my car (in the cold) to enter all the informations. The verification took at least 10-15 minutes. It would have been nice if all thoses informations were asked when we made the reservation the week before. The verification could also be made in advance, like the day before. The check out was excellent and easy!

I had a very bad surprise when I was told less than 24h prior to pick-up that I needed to go to a Uhaul 22km away from the one I had selected. Had I known, I would have planned everything differently, it really messed up my schedule.

The truck was buried in snow, we waited while they dug it out! The ignition was sticky I had to wiggle it to get it started every time. The Fort was frozen shut, it took a crowbar to get it open. The yard helper was great! You need someone to bring trucks forward for customers, not having customers running around outside trying to find start your trucks! We wasted over an hour and we're unable to finish the last part of our move because of the curfew!

Everything was ok, except the price was quite high for the space rented and used only as storage - It would be nice if UHAUL revises their storage price to be customer friendly. Thank you
The employee did not give all the necessary information, there was a software problem that took 20 minutes to solve, the estimate was not correct and the employee did not inform me that there would be a 30$ charge for filling the tank. When I complained about the service, I was tranferred to the US. Very dissapointed! Will never do business with Uhaul again.
Extremely slow service. Had to call back 5 times to get a refund for problem on the bills and yet it is not fixed after 2 months. Worst U-Haul of the region. Will not recommand.
Getting charge a full day + insurance for 45 min being 45 min late for the return piss me off, last rental at uhaul
Equipement was clean. But the tires were worn out. Absolutely no grip on snow... I lost a lot of time and gas because of that. Otherwise it was my first time with Uhaul and I liked the experience. Good service overall!
Hello, 1. There was nothing in the vehicle to indicate that the vehicle had been sanitized during Covid; 2. There was no walk around with the agent to show the previous damage history of the vehicle which included a dinged front bumper and knob missing from the driver side window handle; 3. No snow brush and it's winter!; 4. No 4 wheel dolly available to move a mattress; 5. The vehicle I was provided had an odometer in miles vs. kms yet I was quoted in kms @ $0.69 and asked to estimate in kms. The conversion rate resulted in me paying $0.15 more for the overall rental at $1.11 per mile instead of the total mileage driven converted to kms at $0.69 which is arbitrage in favour of U-Haul; 6. The vehicle defaulted to tow mode after each start! These need improved upon for the next customer, which should, but may necessarily, be me unless you win me back! Regards, Jonathan
The car had no winter tire and it was snowing and difficult to drive. I was asked to leave the car parked in the parking lot and someone lost its keys and i still havent received the refund from the extra kilometres.

Well I guess it was an accident, but I was given a truck which would stop randomly meaning that I could push the accelerator pedal as much as I wanted, but it would not actually move the truck forward. The acceleration pedal would feels like not pushing any mechanism, kind of like when the truck is turned off. We had several moments throughout the move, getting into situations, where the truck would do that in the middle of traffic, and I was forced to turn off the truck real quick and then turn it back on. At first we thought it's wasn't that concerning, as some cars have that problem as well sometimes while waiting at the traffic light, but our truck wouldn't be just malfunctioning when stopping, but while driving. The truck was also, very dirty compared the the pictures given, and had a scratch on the right side that wasn't recorded.
Mulitiple problem with my bill. Had to call over 4 times and even show up again to get it fix, and yet i'm still waiting for the final refund after 15 days. I will NEVER rent again from this location even if it is the closest from my home. Extremely deceived by the poor service of this location.

J'ai parlé avec cinq personnes pour la location d'une fourgonnette pour aller au Saguenay et j'ai eu cinq prix différents. Sérieusement, ce n'est vraiment professionnel ni responsable envers la clientèle. J'aimerais bien que vous écoutiez les enregistrements d'appel pour voir la pauvreté du service à la clientèle.
The automatic check-in and leaving the truck did not work. Check-in - when following the prompts and logging in to my account in the website, "pick up" was not showing up. I had to get the truck from the counter instead. Returning: the website prompted me to localise my phone, but it couldn't do it. So I didn't complete the return, couldn't submit photos of the clean interior, fuel level etc.
Le camion était propre et bien nettoyé mais les freins étaient usés et aurait pu être changé.
The experience was great but the inside of the van was not clean. The seat had a bunch of feathers on it and there was some coins and sunglasses on the dash. I wonder if it has been cleaned between rentals. I would be okay with it in a normal time but I think it's better to be more careful because of Covid.

Lift gate was completely frozen shut and de-icing delayed my trip by 1 day and took 4 hours of time. Staf recommended an incorrect lock that didn't fit my truck.
Was charged extra because they put something in the truck I didn't request. Not to pleased about it, as I only had the truck for 3 hours. Everything else was great though.

I got the truck on 1/4 tank full of gas and I returned it on 1/4 tank of gas and they charged me to put $33 more gas plus a $30 fee for someone to pump the gas, and my original reservation was at a different location for 1pm yet by 2pm my truck was still not available, only got a truck around 3pm and then over charged for gas that was not needed, unprofessional, unorganized, and unsatisfactory

The van was so dirty I couldn't see through the mirrors. Hidden location fees such as items that I never bought and charging me 25$ of fuel for 9km
vehicle return process was not clear
From a 20$ advertisement, there is no mileage included. Add gas, a potential 30$ protection plan that was extra hard to remove (do you know about bad patterns in UX ?), and for 2 days I'm at almost 100$ for the rental. Which could be ok if the truck itself was not SO cheap! What year is it seriously?

I had originally booked my storage with public storage and wish I never switched. Uhaul advertises a free month so I took it. I called to make sure that it was real, the uhaul employees assured me that it was and they saw my location that was booked for me when I put in my address. When I arrived onsite they charged me. Extremely shady business I can’t believe that’s legal. At this point what could I do? I canceled with my other storage and I was already there with all my stuff. I will now go out of my way to never use uhaul again.
We were told we'd get a month free so we canceled our reservation with public storage. I called uhaul to confirm our free month, they reassured me. But upon arriving onsite this location told me that it was inapplicable and I had already canceled with public storage. Very bad business I will now go out of my way to never use uhaul again.
There was no windshield fuel in the truck. The team didn't prepare the truck for my pick-up, i had to wait them to bring it from the backyard behind two other trucks. The didn't write de right amount of gaz of the truck. I feel that a client shouldn't have to wait for his truck when the reservation have been two days before and the truck should be ready to pick up with everything include.
I'm very sad to leave the Cite 2000! The staff have all always been wonderful, and it was the perfect place for my needs as a sculptor. Only left because we literally left town and moved across the country to Alberta! All the best to you and the whole staff.
J'ai déjà fait les commentaires lors du "check in" avec photos à l'appui. Nous sommes en temps de Covid et en entrant dans le camion lors de la prise, il y avait de la nourriture sur le siège, des taches sur la porte, le sol était boueux et c'était plein de poils d'animaux dans la cabine. Aucun nettoyage n'avait été fait ! C'est inadmissible en temps normal, mais en temps de pandémie, encore pire. Le contrat papier ne reflétait pas l'entente avec la centrale, l'agente m'a dit que l'info à votre système était la bonne, j'ai fait ajusté à la main pour avoir une preuve et au final, le système me disait que je n'avais aucune réservation donc impossible de faire le retour après les heures, comme je l'ai fait hier. Le gros bordel donc du début à la fin !!!

The only day i need to get my stuffs from my lock, i was surprised by an extra padlock that didnt allow me to get in. I learned from the staff that my padlock is not allowed. Really ?????? If you guys want to force someone to use your proprietary padlock, please be clear about it, charge more, do weatherever, but never deny people from getting their own stuffs.
Would be great to provide wipes for carts during COVID as they are switching hands constantly!
The price was double what was quoted to me on the website, and Express check-out didn't work, so I had to wait 1h in line. Further, the return didn't work either, my phone wouldn't connect to the location, so I will have to pay an extra fee. The truck was fine, the service was very much subpar. I will likely not use U-Haul again.
Karine went above and beyond to make sure I got the amount of storage I needed. All staff are always courteous and friendly.

Le personnel est insuffisant et non professionnel. Peut être devriez vous ausser un peu les salaires.....Ils n'ont pas l'air heureux de travailler pour Uhaul. d'ailleur le roulement des employés semble tres élevé. Ils ne restent pas longtemps avec l'entreprise ont dirait.

I moved out on the 1st day of when my rent was due. I had to pay the entire amount for the month since there was no way to prorate the rent. It seems like a shady business practice to force me to pay for an entire month, when I used one day of the rental space,

U-Haul Cite 2000 est toujours ma place de choix pour l'entreposage à Montréal. Ce n'est pas la première fois que j'utilisais cet entreposage et il est certain que je vais le réutiliser pour mes besoins d'entreposage futurs. Le personnel est toujours coopératif et le building est bien aménagé avec ses grands ascenseurs et le quai de chargement. Je l'ai recommandé à plusieurs reprises à des amis et je vais continuer de le faire. Merci pour tout.

Les. déménageurs embauchés pour transporter les biens du camion U-HAUL placé dans le débarcadère (PORTE 5) et recommandés par U HAUL n'ont pas fait un travail impeccable. Ils ont pris plus de temps que prévu et nous avons réalisé à la fin de ce déménagement que le loquet pour fermer un des deux entrepôts choisis ne fermait pas correctement. (N.B. Nous avions réservé les espaces 4002 et 4035). Selon l''employé de U HAUL MONTRÉAL qui est venu à notre demande constater les dégâts, cela n'avait pu être fait que très récemment. Cet employé qu'il faut féliciter a tenu à fixer temporairement le loquet pour que personne d'autre que nous ne puisse avoir accès à cet entrepôt. Quoi qu'il en soit, le superviseur des deux déménageurs joint par téléphone a assuré mon épouse Joëlle que nous n'aurions pas à payer plus que les deux heures convenues et qu'il verrait à régler cette question d'horaire avec les deux employés en question. Ajoutons que, de la part des employés de l'entrepôt lui-même, nous avons eu pour l'occasion un service impeccable. .
I got an excellent service from the first call to get information to the last day. Karine Mirambeau and Pablo from the desk office in Montreal-Notre-Dame were very helpfull in person & on email, as it was so complicated to reach U-Haul office in Montreal on the phone from Europe. They have been particularly efficient to solve my extension during the confinement, as I couldn't come to do it. I would definitively use U-Haul storage on Notre-Dame in Montreal again, and recommend it! My only reserve in the overwhole expérience is about reaching the specific storage office by phone from abroad: I had to give up to do so, after 20 to 30 minutes waiting. In the end, I sent a friend of mine to solve the problem in person at the office, and pay the last extra month.
Love the staff. Telephone communication is poor. Not easy at all to reach. Over all i would recommend.

The only concern I have with Uhaul is that on the last month I just used my storage facility for 3 days, but the person that works for you guys tell me that because of the policy of the company they don’t give me back the rest of the money for the days I didn’t used the storage. So basically because of the policy’s of the company I have to give my money for the days I didn’t used my storage.
There soul be a prorata refunding. It's a rip off to charge customers for the remainder of the month (or a crédit for further use of a storage facility). The rest was To my convenience.
The main point of my negative rate it's your policy of payment of an entire month when I use it only for two days (when you move out). You should give people a credit that they can use for the next Uhaul location. With that approach you will be sure to have this client back when he needs a location and you will give a better experience. Clients like to pay for a service/product. Hope this will help to improve your service!
I would like to have a 24 hours access with a code if possible. But for the next time. I had to leave due to the covid19, cause we have no more contracts as musicians. Thank you!
The staff is unfriendly at most. There is a constant weird smell that got into all my things and I found dead bugs in my sofas and furniture. Don't apply to automatic payment, they will withdraw money even if they are not supposed to. And after there is no way to be refunded.

I had only received instructions in french through my email. I also wished the instructions (once I got the english version) had been slightly more clear, especially concerning the loading bay and the check in process. But employees were extremely helpful! I really appreciate that. Thank you!
when i went to uhaul to retrieve the well stored, the dock for the trailers [low profile] bases was inaccessible, even if it is to mark maximum 30 minutes, using it at the reception tells me bluntly that it can do nothing. ......... she even answered c is customers like you who comes in storage and / or recover goods, hello an electric company who comes to repair something did not have to place his vehicle in this place, again less store a uhaul container at this location,
There should be more security on the enterance door of the storages. Also, charging system is not efficient, there should be daily cahrging options as well.

Le préposé était très accomodant de mes besoins, car il m’a offert de mettre de côté deux espaces quand je n’arrivais pas à obtenir le plus gros que j’ai réservé, mais qui ne se libérait pas.

The service is exceptional - people that I have been in contact with, process, etc. However the 5x5 space I was given has vertical pipes going through it that take away from the actual storage space.
The storage is ideally located close to public transport and dowtown area. This allow us to have easy access to our belongings.
The facility is clean and staff are friendly. I am very impressed.
Your staff is not polite and friendly. The wait on the phone is terrible and at the front desk to. I liked your facilities but not your people and for that I won’t recommend your business. Paul

Indoor loading dock is great.
Staff are not bi-lingual and I had to have a friend translate. Also calling there is not option to select english in the menu.

Everything is great! Only improvement could be on the person at the reception that is regularly overloaded. Understaff for the amount of people asking for service/clients.
nice&clean facility,access hours fine, free move dolly and elevator great. But desk staff forced me to pay exta $14 for uhaul lock is too expensive rip-off, otherwise he threantend to lock on top.

Our stuff is saturated with the smell of old cigarette smoke from the unit, and the person we checked out with was passive-aggressive and unnecessarily curt. Loved the manager at load-in, though.

Your storage vs truck areas are not well indicated. I waited in a truck line for 1.5 hours yesterday only to be told that storage was down in another part of the building. Storage attendant helpful.

The elevator could allow more time to enter or exit stuff. The noise is intense and the door can be dangerous when it close. There seem to be a butterfly problem in the building.

Unit locked twice without any notice even though my account was current. Some receptionists promised to alert me when a smaller unit was available but never did.
Everything worked out great with our sons recent move from Kelowna, BC to Montreal. We used U-boxes and it was really easy, safe and secure, they showed up on time and we picked them up with no issues
The service was good but it took 2 hours to get ahold of a staff member when calling the u haul number. Overall very happy with how things went.
Why arent the storage lockers lit? I work days; I come to my storage at night. Vladmir was excellent. I need flashlight The weekend morning guy; very rude, unhelpful & needs customer service training
Overall I found the price to be a bit too high. 24 hour access would have been nice. Some staff members were very friendly, others not so much.
Everything was great. Special thanks to Vlad at the front desk who provided me with a courtesy 2 day grace period for me to move my stuff out.
HAving a storage space was far more easy than having the truck I reserved on the good date and time...
First, the ad online is fake and wrong. Should say that the costumer is obligated to buy the locker. Second, the front desk request payment before showing the unit you are buying (which has stairs)!!!
Super expérience overall. Je vais revenir à uhaul au besoin. Puisqu'on travaille durant le jour, j'ai surtout besoin d'avoir accès le soir/nuit à mon entrepôt. J'aimerais avoir un service 24h.

The storage facility was much nicer than I expected. It was very spacious and seemed to be newly renovated. There was ample lighting and everything was clean and orderly. The lock was only problem.
