Absolutely awful wait times at this location. I waited 30 minutes at least to pick up a truck I reserved online. I have had only bad experiences at this location. It seemingly takes 20-30 minutes for any person that comes in. Why Uhaul? It seems so disorganized but I don't blame the employees. They are overworked and understaffed. Uhaul's executives need to hire more staff for this location. I will never go back to this location.BRYAN D.

4'X9' Trailer I rented had one of the 4 round pins in the electric plug smashed flat, possibly by whomever had used it last, and had to be fixed before I could use it. Staff that was there that morning 06/14/21 was very helpful about getting it fixed, but it did cause a delay in time getting Trailer picked up. Staff at this location was good. Trucks are not checked for maintenance issues prior to renting out. Amy truck sat in the sun and heat for over 1,5 hours and when I went rostart this truck the battery would not kick over for the truck to start. I called the 19th ave location and they told me to call roadside service Calling roadside service is a joke as not one live person picked up the phone for over 15 min. I logged into haul.com/help and requested roadside service, it stated they received my request for help and I had a tracker but not one person called me to acknowledge my request. I sat out in the heat for over 1 hour and I decided to try the truck one last time and it started. But, I was afraid to turn off the engine for fear I would get stranded again. This experience was awful and I was told the truck I rented had just been returned which tells me no one took the time to see if mechanically it was ok or safe to rent out . My overall experience with haul is poor. I understand the rental location has nothing to do with roadside assistance but they can make sure their equipment is in good working condition not just clean , prior to renting to the next customer. I don't wish what I experienced in 108 degree heat on anyone. Then feeling helpless when requesting help , no one responded except for when I cancelled then the texts flooded my. phone. I was told that the fuel gauge showed 3/4 of a tank after I filled the tank at the local gas station. The pump stopped, so I assumed it was full. I was not charged for it, but i was surprised to hear that the gauge measured 3/4 tank. It was full. I have the receipt for the fuel purchase. When you have the problem I did in route, I would expect the manager of the facility to come out to speak to me. She hid in her office instead of speaking to me about the experience. I was advised to call the 800 number for uhaul. What a joke.BRUCE K.

This is not related to this location, but the website reservation system. I had reserved my Uhaul a week and half prior online and the location it assigned me to did not have my uhaul when I arrived. I then had to find another location that had the size truck I needed. This delayed me 2 hours after my original pick up time. I don't understand the point of a reservation and online check in process when what I reserved was not available.Leanne S.

I had a reservation for a 4 x 8 trailer for two months. The night before, I was called by the scheduler and told the trailer was not available. However, a 6 x 12 trailer was available at a further location and instead of paying the 108 $price originally quoted, I could rent this one for 198 $! The night before I needed the trailer, a further distance to pickup and double the price. Felt like bait and switch to me with no option. Sat on hold for customer service only to be told nothing they would do. They knew I had no other choice. Very poor service.Scott M.

My truck broke down between Tucson and El Paso. I agreed to unload the broken down truck and load the new truck. For agreeing to do this Uhaul promised to reimburse me 400 $for the aggravation and inconvenience. I filled out all paperwork associated with this. They did not pay the agreed upon amount. I've spent over 2 hours on hold in one day to be told that no one knows anything about it. Customer service told me they are not allowed to check on this and call me back. We stood in line for almost two hours to get our rental truck. t There was one person on the counter and two others running around trying to figure out where trucks were or where the keys were to one truck blocking the drive way. We didn't get the truck until 1230 but were expected to return the truck at 10 am How is this having it for 24 hours. Not our fault that we had to stand in line that long. The next day we are trying to return the truck and were stopped before the entrance by the manager. There had been a shooting on property. It was the worst experience I have ever when I return the truck on time I had added to my reservation but had to use a van since trucks weren't available so I did mobile check out and was approved when I asked for the key I was told I owe 22 $in gas refused showing me proof. I was pond off to the GM and they were super busy so I told the GM I would be right back after dropping my son off at his doctors appointment I came back my reservation was canceled then walk-ins came in to make reservations and I was ignored and they were helped I cannot believe that you would have your employees treat a customer disrespectful. I don't think it's the locations fault, but the lack of inventory and the condition of the equipment is deplorable. The tires on the trailer I rented had NO TREAD on one tire and MICROSCOPIC TREAD on the other side... I drove almost 2 000 miles with this trailer!KARL B.
I and my daughter rented a 20' truck. I was only asked for my drivers license. Clerk didn't want to see proof of ins. My daughter was to be second driver (I am 73 yrs old and not in very good health). Got the truck 5/21/21 and returned it 5/22/21 at 6pm. My daughter only put approx. 26 miles on it. By my calculations, I owed approx144,54 $. I was charged for 4 days, a total amt. of 144,54 $ . I was overcharged 114 $!!!KATHLEEN H.

Reserved the auto transport trailer for the Scottsdale location near to my house two weeks prior to the day needed it. Two days before picking it up I received a call telling me I would have to pick it up at a location 15 miles away. Then when I get there to pick it up I had to pay an additional 79 $charge to get the trailer? I had signed up and checked in online, inputted all the required info and still had to go through a check in process. I get that it's not a â€œgrab and goâ€ process, but the 79 $charge and the inconvenience of driving an extra 30 mile round trip to pick up the trailer is unacceptable. Do better.Anthony F.

Two aggravating issues 1. The trailer was locked and no key provided. I found out upon return the lock was a U Haul lock. Of course it was cut off. 2. The trailer by design does not have a jack. While it can be lifted unto a towing pintle when empty that is not the case when loaded. Good thing I had the jack for my 1 ton truck to be able to disconnect the trailer to have mobility until it could be unloaded. ONE SERIOUS ISSUE - the locking pin for the coupler was not provided. This is a SECURITY issue for both U Haul's property and mine, and more so for U Haul even when the trailer is hooked up and unloaded. The above ratings are based on the professional performance of Tom who checked me in and out , without that the experience would not have met U Haul's heritage of excellence.Nicolas V.

Great facility. The manager of the facility is an incredibly nice man - welcoming, helpful, kind, understanding, accommodating. I watched him 40 minutes before closing on a Friday night with 5 customers in the store take care of each with professionalism, calm, patience and humor, while acknowledging the others in line. Great representative of the company. Saw a woman walking the storage area early Saturday morning while we were moving out.
