Keep the truck near instead of 2 blocks away! There was no one to bring the truck near the main store entrance even after requesting to do so! Had to walk back and forth to look for the truck and then back again to get the keys after checking in from the phone!

I went to the U-Haul location at 3500 S Sheridan where they were supposed to have a Truck waiting for me to rent. When I arrived there they knew nothing about my reservation and they seemed very uninterested in helping me. So I drove over to the 51st and 169 location and they were very helpful, very professional and had me fixed up with a truck in just a few minutes.

Pick up and hook up went fine.Young gentleman was very nice. The return about 7hours later ( on a 24 hour rental ) was the opposite. Rude and fail language. The trailer was returned as received,a little Dusty, not dirty. He disagreed,but with foul language. I discussed it with the agent in the office. I am not pleased .

I was told that I could drop off the truck at any location either neighborhood or corporate store. Once I drove all day and unloaded the truck I wasted 2 hours driving to 3 different locations because 1 location was no longer a haul, the other wasn't listed as the drop off location, and the final location where I finally dropped off to avoid a fee wasn't open and keys were locked in the truck. Main issue is don't tell people that you are going to leave the drop off location open so you can drop at any location, then enter a location that it has to be dropped off at without notifying customer.

Counter help agent was helpful as she collected the items I pre-ordered. It would've been nice if the items were already collected and ready to go. Also, no one offered to acquaint me with the vehicle. As a Uhaul newbie, that would've been a nice service.

I ordered a hitch to be installed on my suv. When I arrived at the scheduled appointment, my hitch was not there. I was told to come back on Monday which was unacceptable since I had plans to be in Florida by Sunday. So I was given a 15 ft truck (for the same price I would've paid to have the hitch installed and a 5x8 trailer attached). So we were able to leave as planned. However, that also meant we were having to drive two vehicles and pay for gas twice as much. I'm very unhappy about that and feel my gas purchases for the truck should be comped. And I'm sure they won't be. So not thrilled with the whole experience at all.

It took me some time figure out where to drop off the truck key... the uhaul app didn't mention where it was located and there were too many trucks that were kind of blocking the view to the key drop off section... luckily after 10 minutes of searching, I located it.

Rented a car dolly upon trying to strap the car we noticed a bad strap that broke we Had to then get the car towed and they still made me pay for the broken dolly. Poor customer service and will not return.

As far as the staff, they were super friendly and helpful. Other than that, I was highly disappointed with the facility. First, I had the climate controlled units (a total of 5). I've been in a few times and noticed the temperature in there to be very hot for being climate controlled. My dad and I started to move my stuff out on Friday, June 18, and it was around 90 in the area where my units were located. It was nicer to work outside with the breeze than work inside. I've had UHaul storage places in Texas that the climate controlled units were kept around 75-78, so it was nice to move in and out. So the biggest complaint is the climate controlled units are not worth the money here. If I need more, I'll go elsewhere. Secondly, at one point, the automatic opening doors stopped working at one point, so myself, my dad, and 2 ladies got locked in. I tried calling the office, but got voicemail. We almost went out the fire exit because we were all getting really hot and couldn't get in touch with anyone to let us out. Eventually my dad was able to get it opened. If I was looking for an outdoor unit, I might come back here, but I won't ever be back for climate controlled. It was a waste of money and time. I wouldn't recommend using this location. I would rather have my storage experience be more about what I pay for (my storage units) than friendly staff.

We rented a trailer and scheduled it for pick up in broken arrow. When we got there, they didn't have the trailer. They had to locate it at another store and sent us to 51st and hwy 169. When we got there, they had the trailer but it took us driving around the lot to find it. Then the tail lights didn't work so they had to fix them. Took us over an hr from start to finish (BA to 51st to leaving) to get the trailer we rented and get on the road. This is the 2nd time in a month that we've rented a trailer, gone to pick it up and it wasn't there and we had to drive all over town to find one.

Appreciated getting 1 month free after renting a moving truck from UHaul. But if my unit had been located inside rather than outside, it would have been extremely inconvenient to not be able to get into my unit after 10pm. Also didn't appreciate trucks being parked in front of my unit when I needed access after 7pm.

The broken water pipe and the way it was handled was a main reason to move out. I realize U-Haul did not deliberately cause the problem but trashing my goods with no consideration for the loss was not good. At least I was given a replacement lock for the one cut off when I couldn't make a 700 mile trip in the time allocated to clean/empty my bin. Up until this loss the rating would have been 4 or 5.stars.

Uninterested staff every time I went into the office, unfriendly and quite friendly appeared to hate their job. Always busy and never enough staff- waiting often with too many people not distancing nor wearing masks- staff wearing theirs in their chin or not at all. Could not answer questions would say " let me get my mgr" then he was always unavailable. Very frustrating.

Everything has been great until we received this notice - we HAD NOT MOVED OUT. I cannot tell you how disconcerting it was to receive this notice. We were not sure if our belongings had been stolen or what was going on. It took three phone calls before they could even find our name in the system. Then one guy called us back and said it was a mistake and our stuff was still there. Of course we drove in from out of town ourselves to verify - thankfully the locks were in place and everything still there. I realize mistakes happen but these types cause a lot of stress. I'm glad it was fixed but hope it never happens again.

The unit I had was right by the rental return lane and it was always blocked by a truck or trailer. Every time I needed in my unit I had to have them move a piece of equipment out of my way.

I had trusted the facility to be secure with cameras and monitored access and placed decades of my irreplaceable photos, documentation of military service, coin collection materials, a small heavy safe with coins, camping items and boxes of office materials and financial records for years plus much more. U-Haul advertises its locks as great security BUT the thieves wiped me out despite this lauded and false security. Came through the locked door with the "great" lock. Cameras were apparently useless..

Cars and trucks blocking drives and exits. Trash and old tires in drive isles When I started my rental the counter woman was rude and short tempered. My unit had trash in it . I set the trash in the drive isle and 3 weeks later it was still in the drive isle . Overhead door very difficult to raise . Slide locking mechanism very difficult to open my wife could not open it. Overall poor facilities.

The only thing I could see that might make the experience 6-star is on the indoor storage entrance. It would help greatly that the ramp to the inside was stretched out further. Making getting inside the storage facility easier when you have heavier things to store.

The Manager David responded well to an issue I had He provided several solutions which I was pleased with He also checked periodically to make sure everything was going good. The staff weather in the store or seeing them working around the facility were friendly some greeted by a hello or wave or friendly gesture smile etc. The facility in or out were kept up and loved the cleaning lady always happy and constantly cleaning whenever I saw her. I liked the extra security measures in addition to your locks, swiping in and out , the lighting , and even the ear piercing alarm when it went off occasionally. It was a bit pricey for me but the cleanliness and security made it worth it. I would recommend this Uhaul facility at 51st and Hwy 169 to family and friends.

Your staff is rude in all three locations I visited. They all acted like they were doing me a big favor just to let me speak with them. I am the client not the tax collector. I am paying you money not collecting money. Your staff needs a lesson in common customer service. The unit I rented had not been cleaned out and there was trash and debris still in the storage room. The only polite person on the site was the courteous young man that accepted the rental van. My son worked at your location many years ago during his sophomore year of college. He told me on many occasions how rude your staff was . I have witnessed this firsthand now. I will not in good consciences recommend your location to anyone.

Very good facility. Staff was generally friendly and helpful depending upon who was working. We did have recurring issues with the card access but the staff worked with us every time to resolve it. Would definitely rent a storage unit here again.

Any time I went into the office/store, there was always a line and never enough employees to help out. (The last time I left and went to Home Depot to buy boxes.) They were lined up to the door and only one person helping customers. Other three people were trying to find out what was wrong with something. Help your customers first.

Reservation confirmed however at check in reservation could not be located. After creating new reservation the old one suddenly appeared. The wrong credit card was charged for billing. Terrible

while my oldest son was sleeping It rained in the uhaul and got all over him. He woke up to his head being wet. Also the motor sounded like it had a miss in it making it burn more gas.

My storage unit was infested with rodents. Their urine and feces were on everything I own. Several boxes of bedding and towels were completely ruined. Everything else had to be sterilized.

Would put 5 stars and call it excellent but one thing.Got a letter saying I was overdue and was being charged 15 $where I made sure I told staff.Was given 3 day grace period after 8/22. Was out 8/23.

Our small space was supposed to climate controlled, however, it was very hot when the sun was coming in the windows in front of our space. Not sure I'd consider it well climate controlled.

I reserved a 10x10 unit. Upon arrival, I was assigned two 5x10 units. The system was down causing significant delays. My moving anxiety was elevated. Aubrey gave good service.
