What's the point of reserving something if it's not going to be available? I reserved a motorcycle trailer far ahead of time, but come the day of the move, it was not available. Now I have to make an additional trip with additional gas and coordinate getting both my motorcycle and my car to the same place; I will NOT be using uhaul again for this. Additionally, the staff, while overall friendly and helpful to the best of their ability, was also incredibly overworked; more staff was 100 % necessary.Morgan B.

Key drop needs to be a little more noticeable. Maybe also place a notice on the front door to let people know where they key drop is or provided instructions when dropping off your uhaul using your phone. We weren't the only ones looking for it. I filled up the gas tank and cost 91 dollars. I was later told that I had to leave the gas where it was when I picked it up which was below a quarter tank. The lady was very rude and didn't explain this to me prior to getting keys. Even more rude when I brought it back. If she would have been more engaged in telling me what was expected instead of throwing the keys at me and saying it's around the corner, maybe I would have brought it back on empty like I picked it up.Senaca B.

Tbh the customer service was awsome. The front desk lady kept everything calm and collected when there was a rush of 6 people in line. The mechanic was super helpful in replacing the wire connection from my truck make it compatible to the trailer. sad I think the worker that worked out side when, we checked our truck in was on drugs. he refused to help my husband unhook the trailer. he said we had to pay him 20 dollars in cash. and they where very dishonest concerning gas that was in the truck and the state the truck was turned in. we clean and swept out the truck with a broomDARCIA A.

1. the service man i believe was on drug. told my husband he had to give him 20 cash before he could unconnect the car from the trailer.my husband told him no he was not paying him anything and that was his job. then we get a bill saying we did not clean the truck out and that was not true. we even used a broom to make sure we got out everything. and then he was not truthful about the amount of gas w brought back in the truck. i told me husband, we should have gave the man the 20 dollars in cash. at least we would have saved about 22 dollars. #liveandlearnDARCIA A.

Although the online reservation process was cumbersome and frustrating, my experience at the location more than made up for it. As we were waiting (we arrived early), my wife and I were talking about how we could have done things different, and Julie spoke up and offered helpful suggestions. She was great! The checkout process was great too. When we brought the truck back, we were greeted with a smile and friendly greeting. Nice people!Jason K.

They were extremely busy. I didn't get to discuss the low fuel. It appeared to be 1/4 of a tank for me, but they changed me $30 fueling fee and $14,7 for gas. I just put $40 in the tank and wished I would have waited to fully get the truck checked in. I wouldn't suggest dropping off. Unless your ok with extra charges.LANORA A.
I was frustrated with the experience and the staff working, that said, things worked out. Made a reservation online based on needs, availability and location. The morning of the rental, my location changed, twice. I showed up to the original location and was told to pay the higher price for a bigger truck, though my reservation was accepted based on truck availability. There just happened to be a truck of the size we needed, returned and seemed put out they had to flip it on a faster timeline than they wanted to do. With every UHaul experience, there's always something and no one seems to be in a pleasant mood.Andrew F.

U-Hauls late fee schedule violates the norms of decency. In my case I was out of town on a business trip. You charged me $30 late fee on a $129 invoice that was 20 days late. This figures out to about 445 per cent per annum. Usery rates by any definition. I called the manager to discuss this but he did not return my call. With our two companies in Arizona and California we have done tens of thousands of dollars per year with U-Haul. There was a flood outside our unit. We were told when we set up storage by the older lady that works there that there is NO insurance on storage units and we were not able to put insurance on our unit. All my pictures of my kids were ruined and U-Haul told us if we had insurance that they would have covered our damages. That lady is sooo rude Everytime I come in and lied to me and my family. I refuse to come into the store anymore. You can't get pictures back, thanks. Also the lady said we had 24/7 storage access, so we had a fully loaded uhaul truck to load into the storage we rented and got there and it said storage hours on Sunday close early, so we couldnt even access our storage to unload, had to have the truck an extra day, had to sleep inside truck so none would steal it or our belongings because of your worker LIEING! I almost lost my job. You all should be ASHAMED of yourselves and your POOR customer service. As far as the staff, they were super friendly and helpful. Other than that, I was highly disappointed with the facility. First, I had the climate controlled units (a total of 5). I've been in a few times and noticed the temperature in there to be very hot for being climate controlled. My dad and I started to move my stuff out on Friday, June 18, and it was around 90 in the area where my units were located. It was nicer to work outside with the breeze than work inside. I've had UHaul storage places in Texas that the climate controlled units were kept around 75-78, so it was nice to move in and out. So the biggest complaint is the climate controlled units are not worth the money here. If I need more, I'll go elsewhere. Secondly, at one point, the automatic opening doors stopped working at one point, so myself, my dad, and 2 ladies got locked in. I tried calling the office, but got voicemail. We almost went out the fire exit because we were all getting really hot and couldn't get in touch with anyone to let us out. Eventually my dad was able to get it opened. If I was looking for an outdoor unit, I might come back here, but I won't ever be back for climate controlled. It was a waste of money and time. I wouldn't recommend using this location. I would rather have my storage experience be more about what I pay for (my storage units) than friendly staff.Stephen D. | Expérience générale

But if my unit had been located inside rather than outside, it would have been extremely inconvenient to not be able to get into my unit after 10pm. The broken water pipe and the way it was handled was a main reason to move out. I realize U-Haul did not deliberately cause the problem but trashing my goods with no consideration for the loss was not good. At least I was given a replacement lock for the one cut off when I couldn't make a 700 mile trip in the time allocated to clean/empty my bin. Everything has been great until we received this notice - we HAD NOT MOVED OUT. I cannot tell you how disconcerting it was to receive this notice. We were not sure if our belongings had been stolen or what was going on. It took three phone calls before they could even find our name in the system. Then one guy called us back and said it was a mistake and our stuff was still there. Of course we drove in from out of town ourselves to verify - thankfully the locks were in place and everything still there. I realize mistakes happen but these types cause a lot of stress. I had trusted the facility to be secure with cameras and monitored access and placed decades of my irreplaceable photos, documentation of military service, coin collection materials, a small heavy safe with coins, camping items and boxes of office materials and financial records for years plus much more. U-Haul advertises its locks as great security BUT the thieves wiped me out despite this lauded and false security. Came through the locked door with the "great" lock. Cars and trucks blocking drives and exits. Trash and old tires in drive isles When I started my rental the counter woman was rude and short tempered. My unit had trash in it . I set the trash in the drive isle and 3 weeks later it was still in the drive isle . Overhead door very difficult to raise . Slide locking mechanism very difficult to open my wife could not open it. The only thing I could see that might make the experience 6-star is on the indoor storage entrance. It would help greatly that the ramp to the inside was stretched out further. Making getting inside the storage facility easier when you have heavier things to store.Matthew H. | Premières impressions
The Manager David responded well to an issue I had He provided several solutions which I was pleased with He also checked periodically to make sure everything was going good. The staff weather in the store or seeing them working around the facility were friendly some greeted by a hello or wave or friendly gesture smile etc. The facility in or out were kept up and loved the cleaning lady always happy and constantly cleaning whenever I saw her. I liked the extra security measures in addition to your locks, swiping in and out , the lighting , and even the ear piercing alarm when it went off occasionally. Your staff is rude in all three locations I visited. They all acted like they were doing me a big favor just to let me speak with them. I am the client not the tax collector. I am paying you money not collecting money. Your staff needs a lesson in common customer service. The unit I rented had not been cleaned out and there was trash and debris still in the storage room. The only polite person on the site was the courteous young man that accepted the rental van. My son worked at your location many years ago during his sophomore year of college. Any time I went into the office/store, there was always a line and never enough employees to help out. (The last time I left and went to Home Depot to buy boxes.) They were lined up to the door and only one person helping customers. Other three people were trying to find out what was wrong with something.
