I do not recommend this ghetto place to anyone! I had a reservation for 430pm to pick up a cargo van, I gets there on time & walked into a line of 4 people waiting to get helped. The two associates were not experienced at all these two idiots took their time messed up other ppl’s contracts & literally had me & others waiting without apologizing for the wait or anything ! They were too busy discussing about quitting & walking out on us after we then waisted our fucking time in there ..I was in there damn near 3 hours with a infant & there were other ppl there with kids as well , I’ve made about 4 bottles during my wait here which is ridiculous & I didn’t get helped until 7pm and the van was due back at 830pm ..I left there went 10 miles away to pick up a stove & came right back on time & used the after hours return option ..I looks at my account & these bitches then charged me over 130 dollars after they held 60 dollars of my money just totally messed my account up ..then these bitches tried to charge me 30 dollars extra for gas I never used I bought it back how I received it..the worker there said I had a full tank when it wasn’t full then charged me for it they are fucking liars & crooks! Never go to this ghetto ass place nothing but black incompetent dumb ass ppl that has no business working here !! Go to the suburb where you will get treated with respect! These bitches didn’t apologize for my wait & overcharged my account twice charged me over a hundred bucks & didn’t even get my full 4 hours and didn’t have it for a full day which is bullshit! I’ve rented trucks before and paid 65 to go from Romulus to Pontiac and had it overnight but this location is janky and is shady as hell they charged me over 100 bucks only after having it for an hour!! Straight thieves I will never come back here! Then I requested a refund for the gas charge and the manager tommy sr called me & had a nasty attitude he was like next time to check the gas before I go cause he won’t be refunding me again and I’m like oh yes the hell you will son of a bitch I started to dispute the charges with my bank he has a lot of nerves how y’all mad at me when y’all are the ones scamming ppl?! Tommy you need to get let go because your attitude stinks and you’re a very evil man that needs to be slapped how dare you talk to customers in such a way ? You black ppl are ghetto & will never get far in life just ignorance at its best fuck y’all

The workers complained the whole time and never picked up the pace when they got a lobby full. The storage unit was infested with roaches which l brought one or two home😠😤.

The guy who put in my order did everything I did not want as if he didn't know what he was doing but tried to make the impression that he did. We got a truck bigger then needed, return date was wrong and I had to take back to where I purchased the truck because he gave me a local truck

My rental was not at the right gas mileage when given to me. I was told that I would be given an discount because of that but was still charged. The wheel alignment was off in the truck. I will never rent from this location again

Truck was clean but needed windshield wipers and traction control light was on, but overall a good experience with excellent service, everything was explained very well about service and vehicle.

When I rented the truck I requested a 15'. While I was in the office I was asked to take a larger truck but would only be charged the for the fifteen foot. That did not happen I was over charged.

Well first the individual that I spoke to lied about the amout of the truck. I rented a 15' and was asked to take a 26' because another customer wanted a 15' and would not be able to hand the larger truck. I took the larger truck because I was told I would only be charged the 15' truck charge. I then took the truck and $77.97 was taken from my card because I thought I was going to drive 40 miles. I brought the truck back and only drove 30.97 miles but that amount was not corrected. I was then charged an extra $20 when this was not mentioned to me. I am definitely pissed. I have not been able to get back to that location but when I do there is going to be a problem if I am not refunded my money.

Change the unpleasant attitude of the General Manager. I saw he's been a Team Member since 2016, he definitely doesn't need to work with customers. Not only was he unpleasant to me, he was very inattentive to a few others. He has a pungent mouth. I kept trying to find an address to write to the Corporate Headquarters or to whomever is over his location. I found an email, but I figured why even put in a complaint, since he's the general manager, the complaint would come to him. Two other gentleman who worked at the location were nice and definitely don't need to be under his leadership. I don't know how his leadership style is, but his customer service is not a good example of any good service or a person in management who has his name everywhere in the store. The amount of customers and the demographics he services may be too much for him to handle. Due to mileage and distance to the location is the only reason I chose this location. I will not return.

This location needs more help. The people there were doing the best they could but needed help getting customers to the finish line. They really need more help. I stood in line for over an hour but they were courteous and helpful.

The manager was VERY RUDE, it took me almost 2 hours to get a truck that I made reservations and prepaid for. I did not get the dolly I paid for. I called the 1 800 number to complain and get an extension on my time with the truck and they weren't all that nice either. At this point I'll NEVER use U Haul again. I am very disappointed with U HAUL all together.

I have lived all over this country from Texas, Nevada, Arizona, Michigan and Maryland in all states I used Uhaul to pull my furniture and for storage. This was the worst experience I have ever had.
