Very happy with almost all facets of U-Haul Storage experience, including quality of the facility and helpfulness of the staff, and the convenience of combining storage and vehicle rental on same site. Public Storage offers somewhat better per-square-foot rates in facilities of at least equal quality, but I would not hesitate to recommend U-Haul Storage, especially to U-Haul vehicle renters.

The Van not only had fleas in the cabin, but broke down on me 15 minutes after picking it up. Waited almost 2 hours for roadside asssistance, drove another 10 minutes and broke down again! Only to be informed that there was nothing Uhaulmcould do until 7 am the next day. So I was left stranded, alone, on Thursday side of the road sleeping by myself all night and missed 2 days of work! Thanks goodness nothing happened to me in. The middle of the night

Jared was frankly the most professional team member that I've ever dealt with at ANY Uhaul location. We'll done. He checked me (a trailer) out and back in the following day. Personable, knowledgeable, courteous, and thorough. Respectful of my time. Couldn't ask for more.

Very professional delivery and pickup. Container was the perfect size. Everything arrived safely, no breakage or shifting at all. The delivery and movers in Savannah were excellent. I'll definitely use U-Haul again.

The new requirement to call the listed alternate phone number, and expect to talk to a person, during normal work hours, is stupid. People work for a living. The new truck-share app on the phone did not work properly. My check out time was over 30 minutes, this is not efficient.

I got different information every time I called to check on my order. It was very frustrating and I plan to work with a different moving company next time because I think that putting out some more money will be worth the frustration and hassle I had this time with U-Haul.

The staff there was rude disrespectful no help they wouldn't let my niece and son both are 8yrs old use the bathroom wouldn't help me find one and would not open a lock door they said sorry but I'm sorry for your bad luck and the bathroom toilet was backed up so they could leave my niece and son had to use the bathroom outside they force u to get insurances when u can't afford it or need it can't be a day or two late they tag you so you cant access your storage the harassment they give you and always think you lying about having 24 access I still believe someone there stole my cell phone this place is a RIP off do not rent there

I waited almost 20 minutes for someone to come out and check my truck back in upon returning. I finally had to go in and get someone (there were 3-4 people inside, only one with a customer). If I hadn't gone in, I'm pretty sure I'd still be there.

I kept getting the feeling that the guy checking in my trailer was inconvenienced by me being late despite me already doing a self check out. The guy was snide and was literally eating food while talking to me. Also I don't know what has happened in the past year but usually when you rent something you rent it for an entire day. This usage request seemed like an estimate to me and you guys double charged me for extending for an extra 3 hours...

I had reservations at 10:30, but the specific reserved vehicle was not returned. The staff did not call the other party until after I arrived to pick it up. The previous renters said they forgot and would have it back in 45 min to an hour and it still was not back 2,5 hours after my reservation. I then rented the smaller vehicle instead because the staff said the original one would be returned by 2 pm. That would have been 3,5 hours of waiting at your location.

The service was a little slow and it seemed that there were more employees working than the ones who were helping people. Also, besides the location, it was hard to see with the side mirrors of the uhaul. We tried to adjust them but they wouldn't stay at the angle we needed them.

This location was EXTREMELY slow. Waited 45 mins just to check in. Took 1,5 hours to return my uhaul due to employees just standing around smoking and not helping anyone. Will not return.

Drove to Kansas in rain and the truck leaked, our boxes got wet and it was a mess! When tried to use window washer fluid to clean bugs off the windshield, it didn't work and the bugs were smeared all over the windshield making visibility very difficult for a couple of minutes on a narrow two lane road. The gear shift didn't work correctly into park. The return location was changed to farther away, costing more for Lyft ride to the airport.

1) Don't change the pick up location after a reservation, I chose the most convenient location when I made the reservation. Instead had to drive across town. 2) have a return protocol - I stood in line for 40 Minutes to Return a trailer only to be told to wait outside, where we waited another 10 min. By the time they got around to checking me in I was charged another day as a late fee and had to spend another 10 minutes resolving that issue - I arrived 45 minutes early but the wait was ridiculous for a return. Will never go to that location again

The fact that the location was changed at the time I showed up at the other facility was frustrating. I received no call or notification of the new location. The Academy site said the transfer of location took place at 3:34. My pick up time was 3:30.

The first truck the rented to me had no gas. I told the U-Haul rep and he checked and the gas tank had been drilled and fuel stolen. He got me another truck and it was beat all to hell. I took pics of all the truck damage and finally left after nearly an hour. When return the truck I noticed the milage written on the contract was from the 1st truck they tried to rent to me. I told the young woman who checked the return truck and she said she would talk to the original man who rented me the 2 trucks and her dispatch since I had called dispatch earlier to extend my rental. I was screwed over, charged for over 160 miles when I absolutely didn't drive over 80 to 90 miles max. I WILL NEVER RENT FROM CORPORATE U-HAUL AGAIN. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. I will only rent from my usual neighborhood U-Haul dealer All Star Rental, because the always get me in and out, with great customer service without all the additional hassle given to renters from corporate U-Haul stores.

It wasn't very busy (only 1 person in line ahead of me), but it still took 30 minutes to even speak to someone. They also gave me the incorrect truck, but resolved it fairly quickly by changing the paperwork. On a positive note, everyone that helped me was nice.

Arranged moving help on a Monday. Called on Thursday to confirm and found out it was never set up the previous Monday. Help delivered and while they were here unloading, their payment code and services were cancelled.

Check out and in on the app was fine and efficient but location needs better Quality control. I ordered 12 blankets, utility dolly, furniture dolly and even stopped by the location the day before to confirm. All that was in the truck was 6 blankets and utility and not discovered till I was at moving site 10 miles away. Lack of quality control and the app should have asked me to check the back of the truck.

I am not that tech savvy so the procedure for off hours drop was a bit intimidating to me but I was able to do it early the next morning when the business reopened. We have used that procedure in the past when I had someone with me who was more capable !

It took 40 minutes to get my truck. There was a long line and 2 people at the desk. One was very friendly, the other not so much. I think there should have been a separate line for those of us who did everything online including uploading our driver's license. But instead we had to wait behind those who hadn't. Poor management, I think. But the two employees I dealt with were very friendly and helpful. Dallas was one of them.

I swear trucks used to be a flat rate. Now it's the same rate PLUS $1,09/mi. That easily doubles the cost for even a short trip. Wasn't happy with that.

Van was filthy on the outside, so I couldn't see any damage, noticed a huge dent in rear top of van, rear door, that were not marked as previous damage and would have been potentially charged to me if I didn't notice. Salesman was nice and did his job, but store manager was horrible, was distracted during the purchase of a storage unit for me to keep helping someone else and kept me waiting, then sold me the incorrect storage unit, wrong size and didn't add the free 30 day until I told him. Horrible customer service on the sales manager pieces of my sale.

I contacted U-Haul almost one month before we vacated the storage unit we had for over 6-1/2 years at Galley and N. Academy in Colorado Springs, Colorado. We also went in to rent a 10 foot truck to move our belongings out one week before our next rent was due. They still showed we owed rent for the next month on their website. I contacted the store and he indicated he had a number of new employees. That still does not make it right and it was a huge inconvenience for me to have to contact them and tell them about it a THIRD time!

Staff very helpful. My big complaint is when you reserve a unit on-line, receive a confirmation number and get there and they said we don't have one that size available. The staff helped out and rented 2 that equaled the size I needed. The ridiculous thing is WHY would I I-haul show one is available confirmed and it was not!!

The only complaint was that I had to switch credit cards , and I was diligent to make sure it got changed over before my payment was due. I got charged late fees several times, because the person at uhaul did not put my new card in. This happened twice. So, I had to pay late fees for something that was neglected on the side of the uhaul staff. I didn't pursue it, because I knew I was leaving. Pretty frustrating from my end, because I was so diligent about being on top of my payments. Hope the next person doesn't have the same issue.

Unit wasn't swept out and there was an animal trap inside of my unit. Staff was amazing and helpful and had a good amount of carts to safely and easily transport a decent amount of items at once. All around great experience minus unit not being fully swept out and prepared before move in. Staff was very informative about the security measures of the facility and answered all of the questions that I had and made me feel a lot more confident in getting a storage unit here.

I stored unit since March, but my daughter and son-in-law dropped truck off because I was still living in Arizona. I tried to get a 2nd unit reserved for my last delivery in September. It took forever to get someone on the phone and usually I was transferred to UHaul main hub, not N Academy site which I wanted. I got reservation numbers and was cancelled out 3 separate times!! (This was time consuming and frustrating since I was still living in Arizona. My son-in-law finally got me a unit closer to their home! Your office is fine for walk-ins, but not favorable for call-ins!

I was told different things by different u-haul offices. One would reserve a storage for me then when I show up it never was available to begin with. I understand the concept of "first come , first serve." I understand that u-haul has many people canceling or not showing up when there's a reservation. What I don't understand is if that's how it's done, why would should I reserve a storage if it's not even going to be reserved for me? To reserve is to book in advance, to secure. If it's not secure, why offer? I wish the u-haul company gave clientes a chance by giving us a time limit on our reservation and if we don't show, our reservation is canceled immediately. But now I know what I know and I won't be making any reservations, walk-ins is best when it comes to u-haul. But over-all service was average , good people and good customer service, just not very good at communications between different office locations. Either that or the system is lagging on its updates.

Tina, Lili, and Kaitlyn were super friendly and helpful. They made me feel as though I was the only customer needing help. Communication was horrible. They did not follow through with anything that they said. I was billed for a unit I didn't use and it took months to get the owner to respond. I would not recommend using these people at all.

I've had such a horrible experience from the beginning dealing with uhaul. I only had 1 person that helped me through this headache. I won't be going to uhaul again.

Upon moving in I told them my unit was very dark and needed a bulb they said they would come we were there for hours no one came they sat in the office so this whole time my unit was dark...still is...hope they fix the light for the next renter Tammy howard 719-510-6832

U-Haul has been nothing but accommodating & understanding throughout this whole move process. Slammed with customers, they still personally addressed my issues (and everyone else's) with patience and kindness. They made me a U-Haul customer for life!

The worst service possible. Originally reserved a truck and storage online for Thursday June 10th. it didn't apply the free 1st month so I called the next day, spoke with a Uhaul rep who applied the free month. Thursday came I went to get the storage and was told other people were ahead of me, even though the I was told it was mine. The person at Uhaul helped me move the truck reservation to Friday, and told me the Galley/ Academy location had a storage unit. since I needed the storage. The next day I called and asked for that location directly, they helped me get the storage... Later on Friday, I head to the new location for the storage, I was told the same thing, thankfully the guy working there was able to find something for me... Next I went to pick up the truck... When I got there and started to check out, I notice my reservation was cancelled... I call they get the reservation set back up, I go through the steps online, get the 4 digit code for the lock box... it doesn't work, I call the prompted number, tell the rep what happens, she puts me on hold, about 15 minutes on hold I decided to use the chat. That rep gives me a few codes to try and none of the work, I'm told I have to wait on the phone... by this time is almost a half hour. I continue to wait, call from a different line and I'm told they're closed... Waited about 45 minutes and finally hung up... after panicking about not being able to get my stuff, finally a rep calls me and after her apeaking with a manager she gets me a truck at a location pretty far away st 9:30 at night... (Tiffany was amazing by the way and very helpful, the only saving grace through this whole ordeal...) So to recap. Got the reservation for a truck and strorage for Thursday at 5:30. Wasn't able to get anything unil 9:30 on Friday... Absolutely worst experience Ive ever had... Except for Tiffany... she was the only saving grace for the whole experience...

I would rate my experience at your facility 10 out of 10. The staff were all very professional and helpful and ready to accommodate the customer in a timely manner. Great place to do business with and I will return if I need storage again.

I dislike calling the customer service number as you wait for a long time on the phone to get referred back to the management of the local facility. Not customer friendly whatsoever!

Only problem was the first reservation (on the phone) was not in the local store's system when I showed up. Fortunately, I did not have the trailer with me. Tina started working the problem; and when the next opening became available, she called. Problem resolved within a week. Nice work!

The storage has a water leak in the ceiling. Parking area is in terrible condition. Storage accessibility is minimal. Poor signage in storage facilities and parking lots. It is super easy to get lost. Staff was ok they did the job efficiently but customer service doesn't seem to be a strong point for most of the employees here. This place will work in a pinch and they have anything you could possibly need for a move.
