The transition between the box and the trailer's ramp is a safety hazard. Twice the loader's foot got caught in the gap and I can't imagine it hasn't happened to others also. U-Haul's safety/risk team needs to look at the problem and design a solution before someone is seriously injured.Diana H.

I have had storage there since 2013 and I was disappointed that I lost precious items up for auction. I have not been In this status but one other time during the pandemic for which I was hospitalized twice for Covid. This was a great way to move. It was affordable and the process worked exactly as was stated by the UHaul staff. An added bonus was that we had all female teams for drop-offs and pick-ups! It was great to see equal opportunity actively in place.jane G.

This was an overall very frustrating experience. It was hard to get anybody on the line. Most of the times I had to call I had to be transferred to NC and Richmond and waited over 30 minutes to get someone on the line. When I first got the boxes I wanted them to go to my parents house not the storage facility but they were taken to storage anyways. Getting them moved from my parents to my new house was also an equal hot mess. The drivers were great and knew what they were talking about. The staff members on the phone were nice enough but weren't knowledgeable. I kept getting many different answers. Overall it was extremely frustrating but I would use them again if I had to since my items were dry and not broken.Sarah M.

Employees should have more knowledge of how to navigate the systems software. I spent over an hour at the front desk to receive the keys for the U-haul truck and to receive my access card for the storage unit. We made reservations over the phone over two months prior to relocating from Florida to Virginia. When we finally arrived with a huge 26ft uhaul and a car being towed, they told us there are no units available. You can imagine the panic we felt that moment. Apparently uhaul (corporate) will overbook things but the units themselves are "first come first serve" at this location. Having said that, the staff accommodated us rather quickly and ended up finding a unit that just emptied out which was perfect for our things. Their customer service was fantastic and the people working there are very accommodating and work hard. Can't say enough good things about this location.
