I have rented a motorcycle trailer from this location many times. I trust my bike on Uhaul equipment. The people at this store are efficient. They get me in and out in no time and get the trailer hooked up to my truck and I'm on my way. .

The tire light came on, then a message saying 'service tire monitor system.' I had never driven a U-Haul before. It was very concerning, driving on the expressway with a teen in the car, along with the furniture in the back. When I brought the U-Haul back, no one seemed concerned about it. An apology would have gone a long way. It was a stressful drive.

Equipment Question: the vehicle was clean but found to have a few issues. Exhaust system was loud Shifter had problems staying engaged in drive and difficulties locating Reverse, Mom's Attic roof leaked on passenger side box. All these items were brought to the attention of our check representative and noted. The vehicle was not returned to service and waiting for repairs. Our experience with the Bardstown Road was excellent. Everyone was Helpful and Very Nice.

I was at the location for close to three hours and all while my 4 yr old was sitting on a nasty floor waiting, as patiently as a 4 yr old can, for us to get pur equipment. The representative redid our WHOLE request and didn't include everything, such as the roadside assistance, and did NOT even have me sign NOR review the order prior to completing it. The signature on the final paper is NOT mine and when I had questioned the total amount, as the only reason he even told me was because both my mom, who was paying for the equipment, and myself kept pressing him for a total. But when I told him it was different than the amount that I was give online, all he did was shrug his shoulders and just said "I don't know". Then he just continued on as if it was no big deal. Once the order was complete, it then took him OVER ONE HOUR to hook up the 26' box truck to the trailer, while my son continued to sit on this nasty floor and when I asked for a chair for him, I was told they didn't have any extras. But yet all the employees were sitting in chairs but couldn't give e a kid one to sit on. This was ABSOLUTELY THE WORST EXPERIENCE I have EVER HAD when it comes to renting from Uhaul. I would NEVER rent from this location again. Then once all was connected the representative just put the keys to the truck on his desk which I was standing at but didn't even say anything, just put them there and walked off as if I was supposed to know they were for me. I was standing there maybe 20 minutes before I asked another employee if those were the keys to my equipment to which they had to loom up and confirm and THEN I had to ask who could check me out for additional items I was purchasing from there. It was just a NIGHTMARE! I have rented from Uhaul probably a dozen or so times within the last 6 yrs and this has honestly been the worst experience I have ever had and I just couldn't believe the poor customer service both in store and even over the phone when I called about my contract agreement being all messed up. This company has truly gone downhill and it really is sad.

The woman that checked me out was rude and in the phone the entire time. Had her cell laying on the counter on speaker, at least get some headphones or something. I have used u hual for year, you have all of my contact information and copies of my drivers licenses, she made me provide two additional contacts and was just unpleasant to work with. Get off the phone while your asking me questions and save the smart ass comments for someone else. I've used this location for years with no issues. This was the worst customer service I've seen. The gentleman that help me hook up the trailer and took the pictures upon check out was the nicest person there. Really appreciate his help!

Overall it was a pleasure dealing with U-Haul employees EXCEPT for ONE employee needs to be retrained how to talk to customers he was very rude not helpful at all the manager was very polite and apologized for the one guy actions I will add this was a Saturday afternoon and maybe the were short handed I’m not sure

A friend made me aware that U-Haul sells and installs hitches, a service of which I was unaware. I made the arrangements with Bill (a twenty-year U-Haul employee who's been installing hitches about that long) to buy and have installed a receiver hitch to accommodate a bike rack I intend to purchase. Just had the hitch installed today. Everything went exactly as advertised! Bill was professional, most capable and quite friendly. The pricing was very competitive, and the installation started and finished on time. The installation was very well done, and the hitch comes with a lifetime unlimited warranty that only cost $5!! I highly recommend Bill and U-Haul for hitch related services!

The van itself was clean but the low air tire indicator was on. No one checked the van prior to me taking it. The return could not have been worse. I got the email receipt (time stamped) before it was even returned. The final charge was $1 300 more than what it should have been and my debit card was charged. Because of this I received charges/fees from my bank. Their records said I traveled 2 455 miles in 15 hours which would be impossible. It took me three phones calls and a total wait time of over an hour to get the issue resolved and as of tonight my bank account is STILL not reversed of the charge. Two customer reps were very helpful but even they were not able to reach the manager or any employee at the location where I picked it up. No excuse for that. Customer service reps assume the employees put the wrong vehicle return odometer reading on my receipt. Mistakes happen but an obvious mistake like this should be corrected quickly and store reps should follow up. No excuses for that

I made a reservation that was confirmed. I called a couple hours before my reservation to verify that a truck was available and was told yes. When I arrived at the U-Haul center, I was told that the truck was not available and told that I should have called directly to the store instead of using the app. Initially, the representative offered to look in other parts of the city for a similar truck, but was unable to find. ,The representative finally agreed to rent me one of many available larger trucks at the same price. I should not have had to ask.

Records for odometer reading was wrong and we were over charged for mileage. We onlf drove about 35 miles total and had vehicle back within 2 hours. Location was understaffed and no employee was able to check us in upon return and app was not working properly. Still waiting for call back from manager for resolution.

I was a little upset that I was charged for the insurance when I wasn't supposed to be. I informed the sales associate and they didn't offer to fix it nor did they fix it when I expressed that I wasn't supposed to be charged. I know its only $11 dollars but it's the principal and it wasn't money that was taken from them so they didn't seem concerned.

Both Rodneys, Diana & Paige went over & beyond to assist me in getting my car loaded on to the transporter. I had a luxury vehicle that was low in the front, they found wood planks & other objects that were able to be used to safely get my car onto the ramp without causing damage. I have never experienced this level of customer service & willingness to give 100 %. These are truly the type of employees companies would die to have & are so rare to find these days. I HIGHLY recommend this location to anyone looking for superb customer service. Love Love Love this experience!!!

My only issue was that I could never access my unit after business hours because it was always blocked by a truck. Even when I visited during business hours, it would sometimes take up to an hour to have someone move the truck blocking my unit so that I could access it. Towards the end of my stay, the phone lines to the office became rerouted to the automated system so it became even more difficult to get ahold of someone to move a truck. I planned on keeping my unit longer, but I couldn't keep being unable to access it at convenience like I could at other locations.

They gave me a complimentary lock. That was amazing. Only problem I had was my storage has a hole in the side at the bottom. The office was closed when I scheduled to move in so I wasn't able to talk to anyone about it. It's pretty big and needs to be patched so that my things don't get water damaged. Office staff was gorgeous and very helpful, they need a raise!

I had 24 hour access and on sevearl occausions i had to load my trailer on the side of the highway due to all of the uhaul trucks blocking the gate. that was a real inconvience due to my time being money.

The manager sold a faulty lock but did not give a refund when replaced. He called and said a month was paid already, then charged a late fee when it wasn't paid. I asked him repeatedly to have his manager call, but no one ever did. One day when they were short staffed, I waited in line nearly an hour for help.

When dealing with the people at this location it was TERRIBLE. Day one arriving to Kentucky I was treated so disrespectful I was shocked by the way I was being treated. I also only had 30 days for a free unit . I had to reach out to the 800 number as no one wanted to pick up my call . I sent several emails . Went over every email with the lady I spoke over the phone . She even agrees this is unreal how long for them to respond to me . Then hours later I get a email saying I owe $0.00 well yes I moved out over 30 days ago

No complaints, I was offered a free month of storage after a truck rental and that's what I got, no hidden fees, no gimmicks. Staff was straightforward and efficient, as was the entire process. Online move-out made the process painless. Couldn't be more satisfied and will use this location for any future needs even if it's not the closest.

I cancelled my storage until and it took them almost 2 weeks to complete my move out. The staff used vulgar language and I will not ever use uhaul again in my life .

We vacated our storage unit 8 days before the end of the paid month and told the staff. Still, we continued to receive emails demanding payment for the following month and threatening liens and other procedures if we didn't pay up. It wasn't until we went back and visited in person, again, that the situation got resolved. You need better communication and execution among the staff for situations like ours.

Jesus and his staff went above and beyond in assisting me and my family, despite the unfortunate situations I been through while from Washington state when I arrived The General Manager Jesus showed so much compassion and empathy, he listen to our issues and assured us that he will help and he kept his word.His staff supported his leadership as well as being committed to being a team player they we’re focused on helping the customer.If it was a question that has no answer they searched for solutions to make sure your needs were met, Watching another employee name Kathy work with a customer was amazing it shows that the leadership of Jesus the general manager is great and committed to developing a strong and strategic team to represent Uhaul as an upstanding company for the community and those you patronize the business.Job well done Jesus and the team at Bardstown Uhaul.

Tried to get into the storage at 10 at night and all uhauls were blocking the interrance gate into the storage so i couldnt do my last 2 loads very inconvient the service was good though

Terribke location. Never going to use for storage ever again. Uhaul never vacated me after spending 4 weeks basically calling them and being placed on hold. I can assure you if i have a balance on my record i will be contacting a lawyer because no one at that facility gives a hoot. No security gates stay open and they dont check the lot otherwise they would have seen an empty unit that i left them prior to my due date.

My original reservation was cancelled because they had no trucks. Rescheduled me and had to stand in a 2 1/2 hr line because they had no trucks. Luckily by that time somebody returned a truck. Still had to find the keys before I got to rent it. I was in line longer than I had the truck. Terrible experience. The Gm was the only person working in the store. The guys ours where new.

The lot gate doesn't work and is always open. We all know how easy it is to pick locks. Little iffy. Everything else was great though. Great staff!

Very unprofessional place from managers to the employees. They always texting and on social media, tone of voice is very disrespectful. FYI THIS FACILITY HAS A BAD MICE PROBLEM!!!!!! The prices for the storage is not worth it.

Every time I went in to make a payment on my storage unit, I waited at least 30 minutes to an hour every time. I waited so long once that the person behind the counter promised he would credit my account $25. But then he had "computer issues" and said that he would credit my card the next day. That credit never came. I mentioned it to someone the next month, and they said they would take care of it, but they didn't. I gave up trying to get it back. Overall, it was a horrible experience and I'll never do it again.
