The person who hooked up the trailer and unhooked the trailer when I returned was excellent. Very pleasant and helpful.

Customer have to do lots of work basically an employees job . Checking for all damages plus taking pictures and filling out all on formation up to making sure is ready to go for next customer without their inspection and cleaning . When we picked up the uhall was so dirty outside was not even cleaned . Not sure even if they did sanitizer inside . ðŸ¤". This location used to be really good and helpful. We had to go on icy pathway and keep looking for our uhall. They used to bring it to the front for you and warmed up ready to go and clean . But now barley could see from windows . And headlights were almost no light at night .

I overheard several individuals ahead in line having great difficulty with how the rental they had requested being boxed in and how limited the access was. My rental was quite easy, but unsettling while in line.

It was very difficult to manoeuvre the trailer around the lot. Explanation was not given if fully about what exactly happens when you go to storage area. I went to my locker and a security strap was still on my locker and I did not have tools to remove it. I had to call someone to come as the lot was full of ice snow and water to walk through was difficult. When I opened the locker the alarm went off. Someone turned it off but quickly went about his work and out of my sight. I wasn't sure of what to do. Although this was my experience the staff friendliness and prompt service made up for it.

The entire lot was frozen icy slush and we risked personal injury everywhere. Also, the vehicle had a check engine light on all the time and a dirty windshield and the counter person acted like she didn't want to be there and didn't help us when we twice asked her if we could pay and throw some small stiff in the garbage bin.

Not sure where to begin. Booking process was awful. Booked uhaul then followed up and called two days before my big move across the country to confirm and and mentioned that I'm taking the trailer to BC up the Rockies mountains (in winter). Then I was told the day beforehand (one day later) that the equipment isn't available and I'd have to drive an hour away to pick up the van and auto transport or I could from another company, no other alternative solution were provided. I requested a token gesture of a credit and was told that uhaul doesn't do that either. Not like I had a choice, I can't reschedule the move a day beforehand for uhaul. I then get to said rescheduled location was told I needed to wait as the van I booked the transmission “blew up” according to the employee. Finally they find me a van that works, hook up the auto transport trailer and a fuse goes on the truck because the AT shorted the truck…. That's not confidence inspiring when I'm taking the uhaul 700km over high mountain passes in winter. After that I had all season tires on the uhaul, which is illegal when driving to BC in winter, only winter tire allowed. In total I spend over 2 hours waiting on uhaul employees. I doubt I will ever rent from uhaul again and I will likely recommend that other do not in the future.

Absolutely disgusting, there was French fries on the floor, juice or something sticky all over the console. Considering we are in a pandemic one would think some basic cleaning would have be done before renting out the vehicle.

The only issue I had here was there was a line to drop off vehicles/equipment. But no one was servicing the customers with it. Had to go inside and they had to find someone to do it. Not a big deal or anything. Still great service

Convenient, friendly, very helpful staff. We had a hard time locating the truck as it was parked nowhere near where it was supposed to be. Completely on the opposite side of the lot. Not very convenient when it's 30 below zero outside. Perhaps updating the map system more often would help the girls to give proper directions. I rent from here quite often and will continue to.

It was weird to have a booking to pick the truck up at 10am but then you gotta wait in line to get it. I technically didn't have the truck in my possession till 10:30. Staff seem like they wanna die to be honest it was a heavy environment.

No One have told us about the vehicle. It's not 4 by 4 or 4 wheel drive. So If I have not experience with truck's I wouldn't notice it rear wheel drive. The mean thing I would to share with you is hard to drive these kind of vehicles in hills especially in snowy area… Thank you so much

These U-Haul trucks should have backup cameras. I'm not used to driving something that big and was quite nervous.

Agent changes our reservation saying we don't need the storage unit that big. We needed a big one and when the stuff doesn't fit the y sat they don't have bigger units and we have nowhere to put our stuff. Will not use uhaul again

The trailer was disgustingly dirty both inside and out. The inside walls and door were covered in dirt and transferee to everything that we loaded. The outside of the trailer was caked in dirt and mud. I'm betting the trailer hasn't had a bath in months. Disappointed that we have to wash everything that was loaded inside.

snow was not cleaned off vehicle, vehicle was cold, window left slightly open so driver's seat had snow on it, engine trouble light was on, one agent said it was spark plugs -- not to worry -- another agent said it was a tire sensor -- not to worry. Could not use app to check out as battery on cell phone had drained. No other way to check out after hours. Not a senior friendly business. Multiple other issues re: storage. Kids who work there are friendly and courteous as is manager but service is crap.

some of your flee require e85 ethanol fuel. it would be useful to inform renters that it's safe to use regular gas to top their renal up before it's returned.

Upon returning after hours the online uhaul program would not permit me to complete the check in because the online site was not accepting my pictures. It had to be a live picture. Fix this program please. On top of that it was -30°C and the online chat guy took forever to answer back. Dude! I'm literally freezing to death can you hurry up? Only good thing about this was I got an extension on return time because it was snowing that day and there were traffic jams and accidents from hell on the road.

Should have 24hr parking available for customers hauling by them selves. Like me, I was allowed to leave my vehicle up to 9pm only. So I have to rush unloading the truck so I can circle back and get my car. They allowed me to leave the truck in their compound overnight though, so that helps. Then I came back the next morning 7am for the return process. If I wasn't able to finish unloading before 9pm I have to ride uber to pick up my car then the next morning drive and return the truck, then ride uber again to go home. I need to go all that trouble because I wanted to return the car dolly first for several reasons like parking, easy unloading, backing up the truck, etc.

Give my money back for your unprofessional business, rented the 10 foot today and surprisingly by the time I got there all the truck was covered by thick snow. Please management change your tires to winter tires, I almost got hit 3 times, span everytime I stop and stuck in the very light snow level. Please care about our life and security too beside only care about money and money

The truck's tires were pretty bare and it made for unsafe driving. In a city with snow, ice, and winter. The tires should be suitable for the conditions. Luckily we have experience driving trucks, a person that did not would have a horrible time.

When I reserved my truck I was not told about the extra fees such as the deposit or the weekly to weekend fees that were sprung on me in person. I was told it was going to be $40 and than 0,79 cents a km on top of what we all ready have to pay for gas it was more like $100 and 0,99 per km great services but maybe have the prices very upfront and knowledge enough to recognize we weren't using it during the week but during the weekend. Other then that an overall great experience.

The staff were friendly and and good it was not their fault the computer kept going down while I was trying to rent a they gave me three different vans that were dirty. All three needed air in the tires. The first one I got had less gas in it thatwas on the sheet. The staff are the only reason I probably would come back to that location

I had to pay for rental bins in US dollars (for some unknown reason) on line at the time of booking. Then I had to pay another fee for them at the store. The clerk could not explain why or what the second fee was for. I then had to go get the bins from a dingy storage building where they were scattered everywhere. I had to dump sand or something out of several of them.

I wasn't advised of the non 24 hour access of my storage unit when I originally signed up, and I didn't know that I had to swipe my access card to check in/check out. Just a little information would of been nice

The staff were amazing, friendly, and helpful! My only issue with the facility was due to security of the site ( The area can get kind of scummy, and it did cause my wife issue to the point she wouldn't go alone) And because of this very same issue, the facility was often blocked off and locked due to security concerns, good on the staff for realizing that was necessary for customer safety, but kinda negated the 24 hour secure storage access portion. The facility was great, the staff were phenomenal and we will 100 % be using this location in the future!

Paying for rental bins was awkward. You must pay at the time of booking on the website (in US dollars??) and then there was a second charge also in US dollars at the time of pickup that the clerk could not explain. The only good part was that there was someone there to help hook up the trailer. I was also not told about how the after hours return works. I dropped off the trailer and went home, then logged on to register the return, only then to find that I have to physically be there and submit photos.

Arrived to pick up our uhual at 8:30. Doors locked no one there. We ended up not getting out uhaul until 9:45 when someone finally arrived to open. We also paid for a dolly, but there wasn't one in the uhaul.

The pad did not work to prevent the alarm. The day I wanted to move out, Nov 12, the elevator wasn't working I had to change everything the rental of the Uhaul and workers for Nov 13. However things worked ok next day. Thank you, Mariam

At the time of move-in the alarm went off several times while we were inside because some people did not enter their code when coming into the building. At 7 pm when the location was closing I was still in the building and by myself. I knew the location was closing but didn't expect the alarm to go off. When the alarm went off it startled me and caused me to have a panic attack. That was due to a previous experience at my workplace when my alarm code was not yet activated so entering it cause the alarm to activate which led to police being dispatched with weapons pulled. Fortunately other family was there for me to contact. When I called them my daughter was told by an employee that it was because the building was locked but our code was entered so we were okay to be there an police would not be sent. Other than the alarm issue, the move-in was exceptional. It is also impressive to see the recycling area to reduce stuff going into the landfill and helping others obtain possible needed items.

It was very hard to drive in due to all the equipment all over the place no organization when it was time to move out there was only two trollies for everyone to use so I had to carry a lot of my stuff. There was a mixup with my first payment and The manager would not come down to talk to us staff was not helpful at all

Had several bad experiences previous to this. For example I thought I had reserved a unit at Barlow Trail, drove from Edmnonton 4 hours with a 15 footer U Haul truck, hired two young men from your moving company, arrived around 3:30 pm and was told there was no reservation for me even though I had spoken 3 different staff in 3 different call centres who told me that my unit at Barlow was reserved but staff at Barlow said it was not. I was forced to go across the street to PS Storage and pay an outrageous amount for a unit. I was quite angry at U Haul and while write the CEO later. This time the experience at Barlwo was much better. I was served by manager, first name Shea who is excellent to deal with. Merci.

This location provides timely service unlike most locations that often feel understaffed and leave you waiting in line for quite some time. The process was simple and completed in a very timely manner. This is the most cost-effective storage solution we could find in the city and it is located in a very central location. Called the local uhaul number and waited on hold for 56 minutes, which is unacceptable. also was unable to add insurance at the time of booking so a lock was not waiting for me upon arrival

Upon renting my unit and being assured move in was complete, I attempted to access my unit within my access time. Sadly, I was denied. I spent the next hour on the phone outside of my prospective locker trying to gain access, but nobody was able to help. I was told to return the next day during office hours. The following day I returned to the store, where they issued me a swipe card and assured me I would have no issues moving forward. Which was great, until I showed up last night in desperate need of accessing my items in storage. Again, my pass code didn't work, nor did my swipe card. Luckily a kind gentleman let me in the building, where I went quickly to my unit and unlocked it to discover THE UNITS AREN'T EVEN ALARMED! DEALING WITH UHAUL has been the most useless experience ever! Not to mention the HUNDREDS of dollars I've had to pay due to their broken promises again and again. I'm very fed up

Staff is friendly however they need to work on their accesses I haven't been able to get into my locker with my card or code since I got it, I've always had to go to the desk tell them they tell me its a error with their system and there's nothing they can do so just sit there and let the alarm go off. So if somebody broke into my unit they'd just assume it was me and I pay 150 a month and I can only access my locker during store hours and thats it. This has made the move in process very very very hard

More staff would have been helpful - 1 h waiting in line, with sometimes only one person having to handle all the customers ( And that at 9 am at the proposed pickup time); Also - don't see point of onlinecheckin, which we did, if check-in for uhaul and storage still takes over 1/2 h at thecounter. But on the other hand: courteous and helpful staff at checkin - storage manager Even took time out from her busy schedule to show us the facilities, which were clean and well maintained. Overall- quite good experience despite wait time! Merci.

The younger girl that was working was extremely rude and seemed unhelpful with the lady setting us up who was new and didn't know what she was doing. The whole experience was pretty uncomfortable.
