the truck was not available when promised. The truck had a new windshield that was leaking into the headliner. The box storage was leaking water into the storage area. A number of furniture items were soaked from rain water.

Make sure the truck is actually cleaned out. If you threaten to charge a service fee to make sure the truck is clean, then actually do that. Otherwise I had a great time driving cross country. Great customer service on the phone when I needed it.

Long wait to get my vehicle because there was only one person on duty to check other customers in and out, and two of them had problems with their reservation. He was superbly helpful when it finally got to be my turn but there was at least a 20-30 minute wait.

First of all have more than one employee. The online experience was horrible. They didn't actually have the truck I booked online and I had to drive a 26 foot beast.

It wad only one worker help over 10 customers out with the renters he had to do ever thing by himself and I had to wait 2 hours to get my renter trailer .That locat needs more the one people helping customers out .He did an ex X-Men job by himself going back and forth at the door helping customers and coming back and doing a two-man job

I arrived at the pickup location via uber since I was driving the uhaul truck that I made a reservation for, back home. On arrival the receptionist tells me that the truck I reserved and ALREADY PAID FOR was not available, and without any offer of suggestion or solution to this issue since this was not MY problem. This has happened to me with the Uhaul company THREE times now and without prior notification. If there is a reservation capability then it needs to function as such, otherwise why promise that a truck or equipment will be available on any specific day? People who are moving request equipment on specific days because they are MOVING, not because they can be flexible and just wait another time for Uhaul's convenience. However, the receptionist gave me another person's reservation, which helped me since I would've been stranded there after taking an uber, but this IS THE PROBLEM. The Uhaul business model makes absolutely no sense and does not put the customer first, which is now completely obvious since I've had the issue of my truck not being available for the third time in a row. Un-reliable, horrible communication and lack of responsibility are all characteristics of this company, which is why I will never use it again. Moving is already an extremely stressful process and this operation does not help at all.

My pickup location was changed. The truck was not ready for pick up using the app as requested. No one was at the location when scheduled to open. My pre-paid supplies were not ready. It took two hours to get the truck. Very disappointed.

The service was good. The only issue would be there was no drop box to return the key so I had to go back the next morning to turn it in. Thankfully I used the 24/7 check in feature because if I didn't due to me being the key back the next day, they would have tried to say I had the truck for an additional day which was not the case.

Returned truck. only one employee trying to help several people. He asked me if I needed paper check in but since I have account with U-Haul I said no. He said I could leave and he would email me the final receipt. This suited me fine. But i got email receipt and was charged over $50.00 for gas. This can't be accurate as I returned the truck with 1/4 tank just like it was when rented. But my receipt says it was 1/8th tank. Don't know if he just turned on the truck for a few seconds to check level or what, but I should have never left until I could check this myself. Got screwed in this case. I'll never return to this location again and I'll stick around next time to verify gas level. Unfortunately for me, having left the truck before it was checked in, I can't prove otherwise. Beware!!

I completed all requested information on-line but still had to go inside and provide my credit card and drivers license. I was thinking that if I did all of this in advance, I would not have to go through it once I arrived for pickup. The customer service rep was on the phone with a customer who was complaining about her bill. I had to ask several times if she could either put the customer on hold or call her back, as I knew that the conversation would take a while. After a few minutes, the employee did tell the customer on the phone that she would have to call her back. She was very polite and quick when I went to return the truck. Overall, a good experience. Thank you.

I made a reservation on Monday afternoon to pick-up a 10' truck 8:00AM Sat morning. I specifically said I wanted to pick the truck up at that location or one very close. I received an email Friday evening to pick the truck up at a location approx. 15 miles away from the place I made reservations. Sat morning while driving to pick-up the truck, I passed two other large Uhauls locations, and stopped at both to ask why couldn't pick up the truck from them rather than driving across town. The first said he didn't have a 10” available, but that he could change my reservation to pick up my truck at the second location. Five minutes later when I reached the second location and they stated I did not have a reservation there. I asked them to call the first placed I stopped, and after a while I was told I needed to continue to my original pick-up location. Since my pick-up time was 8:00AM and the place I was picking up didn't open up till 9:00AM, I was told to use the 24/7 system. It did not work, and an operator called on my mobil when they realized I was having trouble. I still was not able to complete the process and since it was 8:30AM just decided to wait until my location opened. The person working that morning finally showed up at 9:30AM and had several angry customers confronting him (me included). When he finally got to me, I was told I didn't have a reservation. When trying to get my truck using the 24/7, I got as far as the system locating my truck on their lot (This is done by giving you the ID number of your assigned truck and showing you the location of the truck on their lot). So, I knew my truck was there, but that didn't seem to matter. Somewhere along the line one of the places I stopped (or the phone person) had cancelled my reservation. I finally got a 15' truck at 9:52AM. After dealing with the most incompetent people ever, I must state that the truck I had was clean, very well maintained, and the best driving truck I have ever been in. If the check-out process was anywhere close to approaching the quality of your equipment, you would have a winning organization. Currently you put all of your effort in being so efficient and stretching your fleet to cover the largest span. Sadly, it very much to the detriment of convenience to your customer and satisfaction will always be low. When I make a reservation to rent a truck, I want to know that the specific truck is going to be there and I want to know where I will be picking it up (when I make the reservation, not hours before I will be picking it up). That only adds additional stress to a day that's likely already stressful.

Rented a car trailer. Obviously it wasn't inspected in quite some time. Made it about 10 miles down the road and a tire blew out. Thankfully I was able to make to the side of the road or it could have caused a terrible accident or major damage to my truck. Then Had to wait an hour on roadside assistance.

Hire more professional minded people who have a work ethic instead of a socializing ethic. Also, with this virus sweeping the world, I fully expected the rental to be clean on the inside, but obviously the folks at this particular location would rather sit around and do nothing than earn their pay and keep the rental clean and disinfected.

First off the mileage was not correct they overcharge me plus triple charge me they charge my account three times plus overcharge me for a rental and mileage and the mileage on the truck was not correct it all and went all staff staff said they would fix it never fixed it and still charge my account which causes me overdraft fees

I had to wait an hour to be seen , even though I did a mobile check-in! This location did not have the truck I reserved, and after a complete hr they sent me to another location which did not honor my reservations and over charged me $60.00. I am truly disappointed with uhaul and next time I'm taking my buisness else where.

Emilia Rivera, the representative who assisted me, is simply outstanding at her job. I have made several reservations at this location in the last 10 days, and she has helped me with each one promptly, courteously, and with a great attitude. On top of that, I have witnessed her defuse a tense interaction with a frustrated customer, who left the location smiling and happy, and gracefully serve a customer with a hearing impairment in such a way that he felt comfortable and had all of his questions answered. She's the best!

There is no drop box for the key when returning the truck, so I spent over 30 minutes trying to find the drop box and on hold with customer service to figure out what to do with the key so I wouldn't be charged. This made an otherwise efficient process extremely inefficient.

The service was very slow. Although I had already submitted all of my information online through a reservation, I had to go through it all over again when I arrived at the store. When I returned my rental, the agent seemed surprised that I needed help detaching the trailer and that I wanted a receipt. On the way back into the store, he told me to go inside without him, while he talked to a friend for at least 5 minutes. When I finally asked the other associate, who was behind the desk to help me, she just told me that she wasn't logged into the computer (even though she was using it). I won't be back.

I was told the truck had 1/4 tank of gas but on paperwork it was marked 1/2. The truck had been freshly painted inside the box area and when I tried to open it I couldn't because it was painted shut. I got in the truck and when I inserted the key the steering wheel was locked up. The lady at the desk came out and did something with the key along the lines of jiggling it. I left the facility and noticed tire pressure light was on took it back to store and was told all the trucks did that and not to worry. My brother in law showed me the trick with the key. I would not use uhaul again.
