Office/counter staff was wonderful. Garage/outdoor staff was gruff and confused. One told me to park in one spot, then another came out to tell me to move the truck to another spot, and then another came out to tell me to move it to another parking lot. But the ladies behind the counter, particularly Taylor, were wonderful. They saved the day with their kindness.

It was a little confusing knowing who to call to drop off our containers. First I called the local Uhaul office in Austin and they didn't seem to know how to schedule that. Then I called the main phone line and they were very helpful. Maybe if would help if there was a big link that said "Click here to schedule your container dropoff".

I have rented several times and was always able to access the Turn-In process online. This time I kept clicking on the link that was texted to me but it didn't let me do the process online, nor did it show my order, therefore I was charged an extra $25 to just park the cargo van, lock it and drop the key in the drop box. Normally I would take photos, etc., and receive an email right away that I was finished.

I will never rent from U-Haul again. The customer service I received was pitiful, and as a paying customer I am outraged. U-Haul messed up on their end and would not make it right, even tho right on my reservation page, it says $50 guarantee this will be ready and on time for you, but that's FALSE advertising. Why would you allow a location to rent 24/7 and advertise this service, if the location is not set up as a 24/7 location. That's what happened to me. I booked online and it says 24/7, when I got on site on location was closed and I was unable to check in. After waiting on hold for 45 minuets for someone from U-Haul to pick up, the said this is not set up for 24/7, and the location is about to open so I can just wait. Well that was not correct either, the location was closed on Sunday and you guys had the wrong info. I wasted over an hour sitting at a location only to be hung up on by a customer service associate ans was told it was my fault that it wasn't ready because I booked for a place that wasn't open, and the $50 credit wouldn't be applied to me. . Well I hate to break it to you, but this was t my error. If you advertise 24/7 rental and show on the website that location is 24/7, why would that be my fault for booking?? It was U-Haul a for not having correct information. I was hung up on, and told to another location. So I started driving to the new location. Then a couple minuets later I was called back and told don't go there I can't get my rental there, go to this 3rd location. I then again was very upset and asked to be compensated for all this trouble and time that U-Haul messed up on. I have movers that are sitting here without a truck that are charging me, you wouldn't honnor this “50$ guarantee” thay was plaster all over your website and reservation page now I'm going to a 3rd location, only to be told by the customer service representative with Extreme disrespect that” she was calling me out of courtesy, and she could have let me drive all the way to place number 2, but she decided to call me as a favor so I could go to place number 3” I'm sorry but that is the worst customer service and treatment I have ever received!!!!! I will never from You again. Shame on this company for not making my experience right. You need to get your company some training on how to treat customers.

I was given a certain estimate about the charges. It would help immensely if the rep would give a bit more detail and explain that there are additional charges based on mileage, etc. The base cost is misleading. Overall, the experience was very positive. The staff at this location was super helpful and courteous.

The returning process was difficult. I even downloaded the app and it wouldn't show my rental information. I had to return it and thankfully I took lots of pics myself then had to stay on the phone for over 20 minutes to get a hold of a person whom was very helpful to email the pictures to make sure I returned everything correctly. I had a uber waiting for me outside of the location so it was costing me money trying to figure out how to return it by myself without the website nor the app working correctly.

What a nightmare! I came in to book a uhaul for early pickup the day before. The rep said all we needed to do was download the app and use the code when we come to pick up the truck. 6am we came to pick up the truck and ended up in a situation where nobody at uhaul customer service would help us. For some reason they wanted us to add a 3rd party phone number, and after submitting a ridiculous amount of info still couldn't get access to the truck. We sat on the phone for hours only to be lied to and hung up on several times. After sitting there for 3 hours, the store opened and offered no explanation for what happened, only an attitude of "that's not out problem, we don't handle pre-open reservations." And after returning the truck, I got an invoice with the wrong name. Needless to say, this level of incompetence is unacceptable. I'll never use uhaul again.

Not even fuelled up to the requirements of a 1/4 of a tank. I returned it in Houston and the people there where shock and have been trying to get me something in return to spending over 50$ in gas

Our experience with the rental of a 10 foot in the beginning, Sabrina at the Ben White location at 304 E Ben White Blvd was very pleasant and helpful with loading my boxes bought into the back of "The Truck". However, upon the return of "The Truck" at a different location at the North Interstate Hwy 35 for our convenience (unfortunately we do not own automobiles). It was unpleasant after a two move, and with utmost honesty it was unprofessional also had an unwelcoming vibe at this location.

Clean the truck before releasing it to the next customer. The truck was full of dog hair and some nasty spills made the in-dash cupholder unusable. We would have reported the condition of the truck but were in a hurry to get loading. We chose not to clean up the previous customer's mess and were thankful that we weren't hassled upon returning the truck, so that is a positive. The counter staff at the Austin location were very nice as well, so kudos to them.

When reserving, Let's say 12 noon and I the customer Couldn't make it on time or stop what I'm doing to call and let U-Haul know. I work in construction and my job is important it got real busy real quick I couldn't take a lunch break got served with Urgent tasks. Just let the customer know first thing when reserving, if you don't get here by 12noon it's no longer reserved for you anymore. I had to drive to 3 different locations from a city I'm not familiar with, it would of been nice if I would of gotten a text message saying your reservation has expired. I would of been More then happy to call and make another reservation to just drive to the one location and rent what I needed, Time is precious. Thank you for your service !

Apparently UHAUL can't guarantee the reservation of an out of town 26 ft truck. Arriving at the rental place and expecting a 26ft truck only to be told one was unavailable nearly cost us our moving day and hundreds of dollars. The manager at the Ben White location was also extremely rude, unapologetic, and disinterested in our problem. The sales associate, Adrian I believe, was amazing. He was patient and understanding and didn't give up until he found us another 26 ft truck. It was in another town, but we could drive there and get it and he worked with us by allowing us more miles and making it so we could pick up the auto transport from the original location the next day, after our truck was loaded. It just seems like the unpleasantness with the manager could have been avoided if Uhaul had actually called me the day before and said we can't find you a truck, (hopefully adding, “we are working on it”) I mean, without the right size truck, your moving plan is destroyed, so it's kind of important. Also, That manager should be replaced. Instead of being sympathetic to our problem, he decided to argue with me on if uhaul had actually contacted me. They hadn't, and I had my phone right there to prove it. Not that I needed it, because I know whether or not I've been contacted or spoken with someone just the day before. I just didn't appreciate his service or attitude.

Thanks to Uhaull, I was able to store many items that freed my apt from clutter. Now that I have a larger dwelling and more space, I no longer need uhauls services. The only issue I had was the yearly price hike Uhaul charged to keep the storage space in the Somewhat 3 years I used their services. But then Again I was very pleased and appreciative that Uhaul was there when I needed them. Thank you!

Shame on the general manager, he was too tired to answer the phone after hours and the only time he did, he was rude, definitely no customer service nor managerial skills, and on top of that, rip offs. We only used the storage half of the month and no refund, yet you are sending this survey and a final receipt meaning that we are not using the storage, I can almost guarantee that it will be rented to somebody else, so you are double dipping on the rent. I will make sure to let everybody know what a bad service you provide, and advise them to give their business to a place that values customers and not to a place where the "after hours" service is not provided because the general manager is too tired to even pick up the phone, that is why even the customer service agent kept calling him and the general manager never picked up the phone, shame, shame, shame.

I cannot say enough about the Employee Andrian!!!!! The trip was VERY long and my car was ready to give up. O had not scheduled to drop off at this location, but I just showed up and he went above and beyond to help me. He allowed me to leave the trailer and return the next morning to unpack. He was there that next day, the 4th, and again went above and beyond to help!!! I really appreciated him greatly being so compassionate during an extremely stressful time!!!

When I was checking in I was returning my Uhaul truck and the person who was supposed to help me park it was so rude. I couldn't maneuver the truck because I'm not used to driving such a big vehicle so I asked him to help me and he refused, calling me a homophobic slur and saying I was stupid. I then went to ask the other person working outside to help and he yelled at me telling me I'm a big boy and can drive the vehicle by myself, which I couldn't. I went to the manager to tell him and he brushed it off like it was no big deal, and told me that he would do nothing about it. I will NEVER give my money to this UHaul location again knowing they are anti LGBTQ+ and just flat out rude. Been using UHaul for years and this is the only location I have ever had issues with. Disgustingly awful experience and I wish I could do ZERO stars.

The facility itself was great. Clean. The only feedback I can give was that anytime I called over the past two years no one was ever available from that location and no one from that location answered the phone. This was frustrating because the only way to talk to someone there was to got physically to the location, wait on a long line of people who were renting trucks, and then my matter could be handled. This part was very inconvenient when I just had a basic question or need. That would be feedback that I would have to give. But other than that thank you for keeping my possession safe over the past two years. Thank you.
