I am very dissatisfied with I-Haul at this location. I have had so much trouble! When I first got unit, we didn't even get a " map" to where the unit was located, we drove around all the traffic there , tried calling several times with no answer, then we had to go get one, which it took a Long time! Then I was Locked out of unit without a notice!!! Tried to charge me late charge seven I had asked to be it on direct withdrawals, but was not done! That's how good they listened. They did not have part of the equipment I had ordered and never called to let me know. Once I arrived they told me and then I had to drive an hour and a half out of my way to pick up said equipment. Then that rental was messed up and not able to returned with my rental which caused me to have to barrow another vehicle to return that equipment the hour away.stephen B.

I took my car for hitch wire install and I was told it should be quick install. It not only took very long, but at the end my car was broke. All lights are on except check engine and the worst part is the car cannot swift from parking mode to driving. The guy told me he did nothing to my car and asked to take it to a mechanic. I had done all my stuff online.. he had his earbuds on and was trying to run the register at the same time...I asked where I should wait.. he looked at me.. and looked away... luckily the girl next to him told me where to wait. Was charged for 2 days even though rental was returned by return time. Would be charged for a full day fee for even a 1 hour extension. Will use home depot for rentals from now on. The location was very unfriendly and rude.James E.
While waiting to pick up the trailer I reserved, Freddie Collins (employee) came in and advised me and my mother that we were parked in the loading zone and we needed to move our vehicles. We went outside and proceeded removing items from the car to put in my mother's truck since we were swapping vehicles so she could leave. This process took approximately 2-3 minutes. The customer that Mr. Collins was assisting as well as Mr. Collins became very agitated that we had not moved yet and began using profanity towards my mother and myself. I exchanged words with both gentlemen and advised them that they needed to calm down. I proceeded indoors to finish picking up my trailer and told the man at the front desk about what had happened and instead of offering an apology for such unprofessional behavior, he said "well you were parked in the loading area and you shouldn't have parked there." I went back outside to look and there are no signs posted advising that the area I had left my vehicle while completing the check in process was a no parking area. I will not be coming back to this uhaul location and I doubt that I will ever rent from uhaul again based on this experience. If it was one employee, I could understand, but to have two employees address me in such a manner is a cultural problem and I refuse to do business with a company like that.Keith W.

These people never sent me a link to check in the trailer when we returned it. The trailer was turned in at 8:00 that night they knew it would be after hours and we filled their instructions and parked it where told. They checked the trailer in at 3:29 the next day and charged me for another rental almost over drawing my account. We had to go purchase D links because they did not have the right size equipment hooked to the trailer to attach the chains to our car which had the standard hitch in it as well.CHARLES B.
They told me the trailer wasn't suppose to come to that location. I rented a truck and trailer so why wouldn't I drop them both off at the same location. I had to go to Tampa to pick up the trailer and then I had to go to a totally different location yo pick up the truck. The one rep that was on duty when I picked up the truck was extremely rude and condescending towards me. He spoke to me as if I didn't matter. He was yelling at me and even threw the key down in front of me. At no time was I respected. As a mother and grandmother, I was appalled at his behavior. He should NOT be representing U-HAUL. The experience was the utmost WORST! I only as that the truck be clean ( at time of reservation). At the time of drop off, it was him again. It was another NIGHTMARE! He listed the wrong time for pick up and also for the drop off. I arrived at 6 pm and he was with a customer. I waited, and waited. When I indicated to I was dropping off the truck he rudely said â€œcan't you see I'm busy with a customer?â€ I continued to wait. When he decided to attend to me , he abruptly requested the key. He then walked to the truck to check it. He then got cleaning rags and spray and went to clean the truck. I asked if he was done with the inspection and he again rudely stated that he has to clean before checking it out. I mentioned that I'm waiting for a Lyft ride which will be arriving in a few minutes. He yelled at me that this is how he does his job he doesn't care about my ride. He kept me waiting while he went and attended to other customers without telling me he was done. When I asked him if he was done he ( in a condescending manner) told me he sent me the information. After checking, I noticed that he stated that I drop off at 9 pm. I'm very upset! Thi has been my WORST experience ever!MONICA B.

My experience is based off my interaction with the customer service rep, I was unsure if the reservation was under my name or my ex's since online my email is attached to their name. When the rep asked for HIS name, I was completely offended as I am a lesbian woman. I was embarrassed to explain myself further as I was put into a box and assumed that my ex was a male. I believe Uhaul needs to do diversity training and importance of using non binary pronouns to not put people in boxes. I work for a company that constantly is training staff on the importance of non binary pronouns as this is our world and there's no reason to assume someone's life. I am shocked that I even had this experience in 2021 especially in such a gay friendly area. I would like a follow up that training is being conducted as I will share my experience through social media to warn my peers that Uhaul is not a gay friendly company.CHRISTINE T.

The enclosed trailer leaked water excessively and the front row of stacked boxes, especially the bottom course, we're soaked to the point the cardboard boxes were coming apart. There were tools and other items that were soaked. We inspected the trailer after unloading and finding the damaged goods and could see where someone had tried to seal some seams - don't know who that someone was.James B.

Your online experience is terrible, guaranteed reservation is not guaranteed and you can deal with multiple last minute changes to pickup locations and equipment but here in Georgia you are saved by excellent staff at Traffic Control and in the stores. You really need to rethink how traumatic it can be for a customer to get an email the night before pickup that their reservation has been changed to a different pickup location and different truck. With so much work to be done with our move it was just heartless. Staff dealing with these issues are excellent.Andrew V.

Uhaul must stand by the vendors they decide to do business with! Poor vendor experience, poor overall experience. The moving company I connected with and paid for through uhaul, texted at the time we were suppose to meet to say he would be 2 hours late. I waited the 2 hours only to get the second text stating he needed another 2 hours. Some guy named J we got told us some ridiculous thing about how our reservation was incorrect and basically told me to stop talking and let him finish talking when he didn't even check our actual order or know what he was talking about. If it was up to him he would have turned us away right then and there. Thankfully, D was there to correct him. We went in to pick up the car and sure enough Jami was still there and apparently was rude to my wife? As a manager, I understand how hard it is to hire anyone who is halfway competent or who cares right now so I get it, I guess.Chadwick S.

There was one lady and man that worked close to closing time which I felt that when I came in late they laughed in my face when I asked them to please move the truck from in front of my storage unit so I could unload and they didn't understand why I wouldn't carry my items an extra 20ft to get to my storage. Also I turned over possession of my storage unit 2 weeks before my bill was due and they wouldn't give me a pro rate or money back which is not fair considering I didn't use the storage unit for a full month. Also there were roaches in my storage unit on my belongings when I moved them out and I was highly upset. Needless to say I will not be using uhaul ever again. Withing 1 week got my unit got robbed lost more than 4,000$ from a person who was living in unit 0414 who aperanly doesn't supposed to be there with drugs the thieves are very profesional open the locks not very safely place as soon my situation happens they start doing rounds and security otherwise they would not doing it. The place was busy when we arrived, we were a little stressed ourselves, taking that into consideration the clerk who helped us, didn't have focus on us, when I asked how big the unit was instead of showing us, he gestured to the area and was texting on his phone. Then he finished our transaction, did not offer to show us where the unit was, so after searching in our own we tried calling, no one answered. So we had to drive back up to find the info on where it was located. Then we realized what he meant by inside (again wasn't explained) so again we drove back up to upgrade to a larger unit. At that time a young nice gentleman explained he did truck rentals and couldn't assist me but would get the other gentleman who was outside on his phone (again). After a few minutes passed, the two gentleman came in and the one on the phone was very agitated and using foul language to either the other guy or the phone couldn't tell. The nicer of the two kept apologizing and the phone guy continued his call while he sat down, very agitated.. I tried to diffuse and also let him know we too had a stressful day so he could maybe get back to servicing the guests? Again no visual on map, no explanation just upgrade and done. I would want to know if I was the owner or manager of this uhaul about the poor customer service. I would also not like to see the gentleman fired as he did do his job just poorly and maybe with training and no personal calls this could be fixed.Maria L. | Premières impressions
Was told by the manager I could drive my 24' box truck onto the property. I tried 3 different times and was not as to drive in because the roads throughout the property were blocked with your trucks every time..this was a complete waste of my money. I complained about a lizard being in my storage she told me just be lucky it wasn't a rat. I did not think that was professional. I moved out before my 30 days was up. Place moving blankets reserved in the truck or at least tell us where to pick them up. Accept returns of unopened new rug bags etc without a receipt. Obviously they are your product.
