VICTOR NYou can tell your workers to stop tricking the customer into getting the insurance, when he "helped" me when checking in by clicking the the yes button. Also, they added 2 gallons of gas to the bill when I clearly filled the tank to the 3/4 full. Your company has always employed assholes and I hope I never need you again.
BARBARA DDrop off was a nightmare! I received a phone call from our return location -Cicero. She said that she wanted to see if I could return the trailer to a different location tomorrow because they were out of space. I told her that the trailer was on its way because we were done with it early. She asked me to drop it off in Liverpool instead, but my father, who was dropping it off was already on his way. When I called him to tell him the situation, the lady at uhaul asked him to go home and return it tomorrow, (Sunday) because she was out of space. According to my conversation with her, even if he brought it back on Sunday, she still wouldn't have space. My father said the same thing to her (poor planning, poor communication, not our problem) as I did when she call me. He said you have a huge parking lot here, I'm leaving it. Where would you like it. He left the trailer.

tereaha sUnfortunately check in was slow due to a worker coming in late. We had a 9am reservation and we did not leave until 9:30 because there was only 1 person checking people in. I got there at 9 and there were 3 people ahead of me.
David BEveryone should be informed that there is a bathroom in the back with the storage units. My furniture was moldy when I removed it and there was some water in one of the bins that I had stored.

Mike KNeeded to change unit after the ceiling fell out and damaged my things but after attempting to many times by visiting the workers in the office and making phone calls no change was made. I also asked several times about getting refunded for the last full month of October and 11 days of November. At the very least I wanted the remainder of November refunded since I was moved out on the 11th but have still not gotten a response. Uhaul is not the storage facility I would ever choose again or ever tell friends and family to use.

I took a picture upon return and was informed that pictures were not acceptable and I should have came back into the store??? Maybe they should have come out to confirm . Must have been an overnight drop off return.

Christine H | Expérience généraleNeeded a unit for a quick move. Cicero location was perfect and only a few minutes away from new place. Storage unit was overall clean and very accessible. Biggest plus was the price - U-Haul was cheaper than other close by companies.
John T | Expérience généraleWe did mention that the front end was "loose" (sloppy steering wheel, wandered a little in the lane, driving could have been easier). Also a "dead spot" between first and second gear before it caught when accelerating, also mentioned to staff on return. Both were manageable. Our vehicle had over 90K miles on it and I know some people are kind of rough on them. Engine ran great, braking was fantastic. The facility was exceptional and all of those working there were pleasant and very professional.

Michael MThis location always does an excellent job answering my questions and providing the right equipment that is clean and safe.
Ken KI was supposed to wait over 48 hours for a scheduler to maybe call me and tell me if there even was a truck available. Yeah - that's a no. I called Enterprise and immediately had a truck. Was going to complain in oerdin to the scheduler when I hit a call but at well over 40 hours still no call so I called number and cancelled explaining why. I get it you need to juggle schedules and balance things but this is ridiculous. It cost you a customer this time and frankly probably won't be first place I try next time I need to rent a truck.

Next I understand it's next to woods but the amount of damage done to my stuff in storage was crazy. There should be a dumpster in the storage for customer to use. I would go there and would be food wrappers in my unit from the animals

It it was only about 5 minutes later and she did not put the payment through, so when I went back to put my stuff in the unit I could not get in. Left a message with the GM who did not call back and missed a day of work the next day to get into the unit.

Jody R | Expérience généraleMy unit had insulation droppings all over my belongings for over a year. I complained in person to the person at the counter and also online. Was never given any solutions other than my own follow up to contact them during the week to "schedule" a time for me to move my belongings so the could clean it up. I had to clean it up myself several times and clean off my personal items of the droppings. The unit had insulation damage at the time of issue and should not have been given to me. As I travel for a living I am not always available and is why I haven't moved out before. Very unprofessional and is main reason I removed my items and rented space elsewhere.

The unit had insulation falling down that looked like there was a leak in the roof, and the unit was dirty. Not a pleasant experience. I was looking to stay for a long term, but have found another facility.

Carlos N | Online Move InMy storage unit had a leaky roof. It ruined some of my belongings. I was forced to move my things to a different location. I was offered no help to move my things. I was forced to rent a truck from U-Haul and only given a $15 discount towards the truck. After paying for the truck and movers it cost me $254. Very unfair. I was told by the GM Philip that the MCP will not do anything else to help me. I had insurance on my storage and they do not provide any cost to move my things out of a broken storage unit.

My storage unit went to crap and I had to clear it all out and pay $130 to dump it in the local dump. They were kind enough to settle my month of past due balance for $100 and not charge me another month's rent for going 2 days over my due date tho.

I didn't have any questions because she answered any before I could ask. It's always a nice to interact with someone like her. I even arrived right before closing and usually people get annoyed with that because they're ready to go home and be done with their shift but she was happy and helpful and even made me laugh at times. I left there feeling better then I did when I arrived. Moving is stressful and having to store my things while im in-between places with my lease at one place ending 30 days before my new one starts... she someone how made all that stress just disappear. Im always very thankful for people like her. A gem. Everyone at that location was just so friendly. Thank you for hiring employees like those.
