your locate in Cave Creek is rated superior. However, not being from Cave Creek I was somewhat disappointed when I learned the location was just off InterState 17 and not located in the town itself. I saw a u-haul truck and trailer parked on a parking lot in Cave Creek and thought that was the store location and to my surprise I had to drive 10+ miles to drop off the trailer.Daniel P.

The catalytic converter has been stolen off the truck and the engine light was on because of it. That should have been explained to me before I got into the truck. There was no Dolly and blankets in the truck and the checkout asked if I used it and gave no space for me. The truck road extremely rough down the highway and felt like it was on a horse. Felt like there was a flat tire or a brake on or something. Trust me there was nothing wrong on my part, the truck just rode rough.LINDA F.

I felt that the price of the rental was misleading $19,99â€¦ but upon driving and retuning, you find out that it's 94.00. Including tax, plus 1,09 a mile, plus tax, plus 25 for gas on top of everything. $125!!!!!Frank D.

Only issue is that it took a while to get my rental as the location seemed to be under staffed and there was an issue with using the debit/credit card machine? It's usually a 5 minute process, but there were quite a few people waiting when I arrived and then the debit/credit card machine didn't like my card for some reason, so it's a good thing I had cash I suppose. Still, overall great service as always and I will happily use UHaul services again in the future.James S.

Your employee James was consistently helpful and competent. I'd recommend this location on the basis of him alone. In these unusual times, it is imperative that Uhaul tell the truth about availability. Allowing me to make a reservation and then telling me the day before I leave that there won't be any trucks available for at least 4 months is so dishonest it borders on stupid.Colby B.

Had a reservation to pick up equipment at 9am. Didn't drive away until 10:30am. Took the location 1,5 hours to locate my Ubox and to get it loaded onto a pickup truck for me to drive home to unpack. A very unpleasant experience.Andrew C.

First, try to make the vehicle id numbers more visible so that it's easier to identify which vehicle corresponds with your reservation. Second, even though I made my reservstion through the app, provided a payment using my saved credit card, and followed the check-in procedures, I still had to go into the store to meet with a representative at the counter. For some reason the app wouldn't allow me to complete the final steps of the reservation process. The headshot submission and license uploads would not go through. Lastly, even if I was able to complete the entire reservation process theough the app, I still would have run into a problem since my van was not accessible. The van on my reservation was completely blocked in by other U-Haul vehicles. I think this location needs to spend some time ensuring that the mobile process for renting a vehicle works flawlessly in its entirety as long as if user follows all the appropriate steps.Derek M.

We were told we could pick up the truck and auto transport at the nearest location. At the very last minute, they changed this and we had to drive 2,5 hours one way to pick up the auto transport. Then we received a call from the Uhaul to return the equipment a day earlier than we were told. We returned the equipment and we received notice we owed $156 for a gas fee. We received the truck with 1/4th tank. It is noted in the contract. We returned the tank with a 1/4th tank as well. Customer service wasn't any help (the number on the contract) they told us to call another number and the hold time was over an hour and they hung up on us. We also hired movers via the usual site and they confirmed and never showed up. Being 8 months pregnant and unable to lift anything, this was incredibly upsetting. I called the service line for this and sent a message and no one responded. I was on hold for hours. Why are these terrible people advertised, do you not look into the people you advertise? The staff at this location is excellent! They were always extremely kind and helpful to me and my sisters. We had to go through 2 storage units filled with our late father's belongings, and Austin even gave us a 3rd unit for free for a month so we had room to sort without blocking the hallways. The staff here goes above and beyond, they are so nice! If we ever have storage needs in the Phoenix area again, we will definitely go back to this location. I'm sorry but I lost my optimism when these reasons were presented to me: 1) My unit was not what I reserved. 2) The unlock/securing-support does not function. I cannot use it without banging on it with a hammer. Difficult to lock my items & until it is fixed-NOT SURE HOW LONG YOU WILL DELAY THAT. 3) I am challenged with any loads I want to take there. 4) I still don't know if this unit will be large enough since I lost significant space with the 30"+ diameter concrete post in the center! 5) Could not even get the climate-controlled unit I reserved! Your crew there did all they could to assist me. My dilemma with the unit closure not working is not their fault. Notes were made to alert me when a unit that I attempted to reserve becomes available. At that time I will decide if I want to pay movers AGAIN to move my items. I sent a friend to pick up a key card for me because I was arriving after store hours and she told me the person who helped her was super rude and condescending and not really helpful at all. This location also charged me a month earlier than both what they were supposed to and what was confirmed online, causing a $36 overdraft fee and draining my bank account while I was already having money deposit issues. I've also tried contacting the general manager for the Cave Creek location multiple times and no one has gotten back to me on anything even when they deign to answer the phone. They take a message and the call is never returned. I had 2 storages one in Anthem and one in the 101 and Cave creek. As I was moving out and the direct line to the storage was busy the online service respond I did ask for the dates it was due and after this they mix them up and I did move from the one I had more time and only few days of the other one . They will not give me extra time to stay and I have paid 20 days extra . It wasn't my fault I have used your storage for 4 years, never late. Had to upgrade from 5x10 to 10x10 $200 because the 5x10 has a 36 inch door. Nobody seems to know or communicate the storage rules. Last storage I rented was $78 after tax and had a full 5 ft door so I didn't have extra space.Shane H. | Premières impressions

I received an email notification to remind me to pay my rent on time, so I went online and tried to set up an automatic payment with my credit card, but it said it was through a third party and they would charge a small fee to process my payments. Then I noticed I could set it up with my checking account and it was free, so I did that. I didn't screen shot the final screen (my mistake) because it said I would get an email confirmation, but never received one. Then a few days later I got an email saying I had a late charge on my account and it then allowed me to set up automatic payments on my credit card for free. I went in and talked to a general manager and they didn't do anything. So I closed my account and moved my stuff to another location. I'll never use Uhaul again.brittani l. | Expérience générale

I believe the yellow paint on the parking lot for slope should not be so slippery as to make my foot slide down it as soon as it touched it causing my ankle to break and be dislocated and land me in a sitting position! Nice facility. Only thing is. We paid our monthly rent on the 6th and moved out the 11th. No money back for the days not used. On our second unit we paid on the 25th and moved everything out the 18th with no money back for the days not used. Expensive. Love it but may need to choose a different storage next time.
