The man I spoke with on the phone who called to confirm my reservation was belittling and basically accused me of lying about having used the automated pick up service. Later when I was picking up the vehicle whose front left tire was low, I spoke to another man asking a question and he was less than helpful.

This is a large company owned U-Haul facility. The main drawback to this store is that they were understaffed with only one person on duty, who was busier than a one-armed paper hanger, which resulted in a significant wait time due to the large number of customers present waiting in line. Considering that this was the day after Christmas probably explains why there was only one person on duty. The store was well stocked and the equipment was new, clean, and in excellent condition.

The 24/7 check in through the website or mobile app is buggy and does not work. It kept locking up and not progressing through the different pictures. When I walked into the location for assistance, two employees were sitting at the counter chatting and I had to wait for someone who was outside checking in vehicles to come in and work with me.

The individual working the front desk had to many task going on at once. From people walking up asking about storage units, people complaining about the wait, and then me just trying to pick up a reservation. I know that with the pandemic staffing is light but he needed some help.

The staff was friendly and very helpful. The vehicle needed a wheel alignment. I was very satisfied with the service and the fact my storage was free with the truck rental. I would be using your services again.

The storage unit itself was just fine and the staff from the day of move in, however, the move out process was horrible. I submit my move out request prior to the payment due date and I received an email a little while later saying that I still needed to pay on the unit. I told them I sent out a request prior to the due date and I received ANOTHER email saying I owe. It makes me wonder whether you all are trying to take people's money or perhaps your system is unorganized. After calling up there, the lady says she saw my move in request and that someone would give me a call back. I received NO call back and just yesterday received another random email saying I owe. I respond to that one saying I already went through this and I have evidence to prove I do not owe you all. After no response, I finally receive an email including my receipt from my move out. HUH? I will definitely not be using the Uhaul at Dupont again. Also, the employees that sent these emails are Mary Treschenko and Sulma Culbertson.

While the staff member, Macy, was kind & professional, the uhaul truck that was given to me had a crack in the windshield. I was told there was no other available truck & if I felt comfortable, I could still drive the truck given to me.

The 3 men working there were different usual when you reserve your truck they would drive it up to the front and have it waiting for you. I had to search for the truck and they charge my account twice the general David customer service was the worst over the phone. Next time I will definitely use a different location.

The gas was at 5/8 just above the 1/2 and they charged me an extra $30 for gas someone doesn't know how to read the gas line on these trucks but all and all the service was excellent

I was charged a fee for returning after hours. Unfortunately, I wasn't told this was going to be the case. When the clerk noticed I planned on returning at 9pm, 12 hours after pick up, I should have been advised then. I could have altered my return time or made an informed decision to accept the fee. I will be following up on this.

Do not tell customers they don't owe any money when they somehow do. It's been a while since I rented from U-Haul but I don't remember going through this with another location. I was charged an additional amount of over $140 once I returned the truck. I was told that I didn't owe anything at check in. My card had been charged each time I called to ask for an additional day but I knew about those charges. I'm not sure and don't understand why I was charged over the additional $140 but I will be speaking with someone so they can explain this charge to me because my card was charged for an amount that I knew nothing about after I was told I didn't owe anything. The truck was returned in time and the tank was filled back to its proper level, so I have no idea what that charge is for.

The 26 foot truck I used was on it's last leg, did not drive good, the engine light was on the entire time. Glad I wasn't taking it on a long haul, the 40 local miles I put on it was enough. BUT it did the job I rented it for.

Please make sure outside storage rooms drive up areas are clear of company parked vehicles. It's safer to maneuver trucks, it provides space for customer to move into storage rooms and makes a much more comfortable moving in or out experience for customers. Thank you!

I accidentally returned the rental before completing the online process and taking pictures of the odometer etc. I would recommend mentioning to customers to complete the online process so they won't be charged the convenience fee. A

we had requested a uhaul a mile away from the house 18 foot- received a voicemail stating we had to go to a store 15 miles away and were given a 26 foot truck. We showed up to pick up our uhaul at 6:30am as indicated on the app and was unable to get the truck. I called customer service and was on hold for over 30. mins until the store opened. Went in and picked up truck and was charged the 15 miles that it took to get to the store. Which i believe is very unfair since we were not the ones who choose to get a truck that far away. We were also told that we only had the truck from 7am to 2:30pm, which i was not aware of either. I overall was very unable with the service and called multiple times to try and speak to someone about my experience. I was on hold for over 30 mins each time i called and when i finally did get through to someone they said they were placing me on hold to get a manager and i was hung up on and could never get back in touch with anyone. I called the local store and they were unable to do anything at there level but did explain where they could see i had called. I am VERY UNHAPPY with the services and do not think i should have been held responsible for 15 miles each way when i was forced to pick the truck up at a local by someone leaving a voicemail. i verbally never agreed to changing of location or truck size. I WILL NEVER AGAIN USE U-HAUL AND HAVE ADVISED MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS OF MY EXPERIENCE. I HAVE EVEN THOUGHT ABOUT CONTACTING THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU SINCE I HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO GET IN TOUCH WITH ANYONE ON THE PHONE SINCE THE DAY WE RENTED THE TRUCK. Thanks for keeping the property up the rest room clean and the inside cool during hot summer months. We had a unit on the outside at the U-Haul across from Bellwood on Jefferson Davis. When we emptied the unit it was just as clean inside as when we rented it. No bugs or rodents and no water had entered the unit. Thanks again we will rent there again if we should ever need your service.
