I ordered a lock for my storage unit and it was never left in the unit the office was closed had to go purchase one so my stuff was locked and secure.

The guys that helped with the return were professional and pleasant to work with. They instructed me as where to park the trailer and they unhooked it and checked everything then sent me a receipt of return to my email. Worked out easily and I would recommend them to anyone. Thanks Guys

Paid for a dolly but it wasn't on the truck at the time of pickup. Got a call asking to return a dolly that wasn't provided to me. The gentleman at pickup advised to bring the truck back at a quarter tank, when doing so; I was charged an additional 70$ in fees for gas. Meanwhile, the authorization hold for the original amount is pending to clear.

The gentleman that helped me was kind and and knowledgeable got me in a unit and truck Last minute right before closing time didn't feel rushed or worrisome as some other places do near closing time. It was great!

My only suggestion would be that the voice prompts include a "none of the above" category. It was difficult to find someone who could help with equipment failure that did not require Roadside assistance. Overall, I was very pleased with their Customer Service.

They always tell you one thing to get your money then charge you more, it's always you went over the miles when you clearly added everything up. It's best to pay someone out of pocket before you pay uhaul

Train your employees how to serve customers. Unfriendly and rude, that's all I can say. Next time I might try a competitor, even equipment and prices are ok by Uhaul. But the staff is unacceptable.

I'm seeing an extra charge of $20 in my bank statement that is pending. I returned to truck before the due hour on due date. Sales rep did call me a couple of hours after asking me if I wanted to extend keeping truck and I had to remind him that I already turned in truck before the time. I will be calling tomorrow to see what the $20 is since I read that the $20 is for next day checking truck, but again I returned before 5pm.

The vehicle looked as of they had been on a demolition derby. The gas gage was off causing me to over fill. The actual place where you put stuff leaked. Also when you explain mileage speak louder, you all love to get over on good people.

With only one service attendant and several customers, it was taking up to an hour just to get to the desk for check in.

The windows on the truck were dirty, inside and out. It was difficult to see, especially at night. The truck that I received was NOT what I reserved. I was told the cargo van that I reserved was infested with bugs so I was given a box truck instead. That truck was awful as it needs an alignment. I am surprised that I made it to DC and back and did not die!! There was no blue tooth in the truck so I could not connect for navigation. When I tried to attach my phone to the vent, the vent fell out. Everything was manual, including windows. It felt like 1985 in this truck! When I returned the truck, I put more gas in it than when I received it. I told the woman processing the truck this information. She promptly told me I was not supposed to do that. She was rude. Instead of saying thank you, she kind of scolded me for returning the truck w/ extra gas. Trust me I did not plan on it but since I had no way to know how much gas it would take. Such a crazy experience.

I would have rated my experience - Excellent, if it weren't for your U-Haul app. The app is horrible. It took me more than 30 minutes to return the van due to glitches in your app. I tried downloading pictures to your app several times until I just opted to save pictures on my phone for proof of the condition of equipment returned. PLEASE fix your app for a more pleasant experience. Merci

I did the 24/7 rental at the original location that I chose after I completed the rental the app told me to go inside for the keys. I went inside and showed the lady my phone where it said to get the keys, she never said anything and called someone and gave me the phone. I got on the phone and it sounded like 2 people talking at the same time, I told him I could not understand anything he was saying and he said I was rude and then started yelling in a different language before he hung up he said he is not giving me the keys. I went outside and called Uhaul traffic and they sent me to a further location. The representative said she was giving me a discount for my inconvenience at $0,69 per mile. I went to the 2nd location and the representative there seemed like she was having a bad day and it also seemed like I was bothering her by being there to rent the truck. She said they did not have a reservation for me and called traffic again. She finally did the rental but said there was no note in the system about a discount and that I would have to call U-Haul. I got back home with the truck and called Uhaul traffic and after 40 minutes on hold they finally found the representative that gave me the discount. She said she was putting the note in again and when I return the truck they will see that I am to get a discount. I returned the truck and I again it did not show the note and the lady said "I ain't gonna give you any discount, you need to call them". She was very aggressive and defensive right from the beginning. I called Uhaul traffic for the 3rd time and the representative said there is no note. I asked that she pull the call since they are all recorded. I had to pay the full amount up front because no note was ever entered in the account. She told me that "if in fact the representative said I was to get a discount, then she will need to hear it on the recording." I said that is fine and I have no reason to lie to you. She called me about 3 1/2 hours later saying that she did hear the representative state I was to get a discount for the $0,69 per mile and I would see a refund on my card within 3 to 5 days. I understand that there are people who try to get discounts and what not but the way I was treated is uncalled for and very unprofessional. All of this could have been avoided by a simple note in my account. I will not be using Uhaul ever again. Budget and Penske May be more money but the customer service is so much better.

Please be sure to use clean rags to clean the windshield. It was hard to see through the smears. The lady that rented us the truck was nice. Did not do the walk through with me but it was okay in the end. The lady that took our return didn't seem too interested in being there.

When I pick up the truck it was on E; there was barely enough gas in it to make it to a filling station. That was uncalled for. I thought that I was going to have to call for roadside assistance before I was able to get gas.

I experienced issues with a certain individual for saving card that wasnt in my auto pay without my permission. That was my biggest problem. I also was overcharged for a Uhaul and never got refunded. Other than that most of the staff was professional and helpful .and the place itself was clean and organized.

I came when I got evicted and for a few months I was not in a permanent position at the time but now as of 2 weeks ago I am.... they assisted me in avoiding my units to be put up for auction cus I was out of clues on what to do and they help me keep my units THANX🌹-Nicole L

The only issue is the mice

I was told they didn't have mice. When I walked in on June 3rd @3:30pm a mouse greeted me in the hallway. So I asked for a refund I just rented last week. Thank goodness I didn't bring my stuff there. I don't have mice nor do I want them in my home.

This was my first time in years dual using a storage, I was fine and normal with it, but my friend was concerned that the boards at the bottom and top were really roughed up, but she utilized it anyway, might want to consider this one replacing some of the boards so it can hold furniture.

Management was bad a few months ago when I had to have my lock removed... I paid the lock Smith personally and was still charged the next month. I brought it to the managers attention he blew me off and said he would investigate it and never remedied the situation..

I always had a peaceful experience. A whole lot of searching of self took place with me. Not having some of my most memorable possessions tucked away from you but having a place to feel that is ok protecting them is super cool. The screws on my unit were busted the entire time. By busted, I mean, the screws holding the lock on were just sitting in two oversized holes so all anyone had to do to access my unit was to use there hand to pull off the lock area. I always got the same response, well we have cameras. No one ever messed with my unit. But still would've been nice to have that extra security of a locked storage unit I should've had the whole time. The bathroom finally got fixed within the last few months. The storage facility is well lit and always clean. Every person I talked to, in the office, was professional and courteous. The housekeeper was always friendly and a sweet woman to talk too. I have recommended this U-Haul and would recommend again, even with my broken lock. I am writing this in hopes that corporate can finally send the stores the right supplies to fix said issue. Since everytime it was ordered, the hardware would not come or wasn't available. Merci.

I have had really bad experiences with haul in the past as a long time customer. I have been dealing with a lot of heal issues. I finally had a pleasure of meeting Ms. Cynthia and oh my God I was so please so so pleased I couldn't believe I was dealing with UHaul . She is definitely an assist to this company. The storage unit itself was just fine and the staff from the day of move in, however, the move out process was horrible. I submit my move out request prior to the payment due date and I received an email a little while later saying that I still needed to pay on the unit. I told them I sent out a request prior to the due date and I received ANOTHER email saying I owe. It makes me wonder whether you all are trying to take people's money or perhaps your system is unorganized. After calling up there, the lady says she saw my move in request and that someone would give me a call back. I received NO call back and just yesterday received another random email saying I owe. I respond to that one saying I already went through this and I have evidence to prove I do not owe you all. After no response, I finally receive an email including my receipt from my move out. HUH? I will definitely not be using the Uhaul at Dupont again. Also, the employees that sent these emails are Mary Treschenko and Sulma Culbertson.

Please make sure outside storage rooms drive up areas are clear of company parked vehicles. It's safer to maneuver trucks, it provides space for customer to move into storage rooms and makes a much more comfortable moving in or out experience for customers. Merci.

Thanks for keeping the property up the rest room clean and the inside cool during hot summer months. We had a unit on the outside at the U-Haul across from Bellwood on Jefferson Davis. When we emptied the unit it was just as clean inside as when we rented it. No bugs or rodents and no water had entered the unit. Thanks again we will rent there again if we should ever need your service.

no elevator for 2nd floor which made it impossible to get a unit that was the right size for my needs. ended up paying more for a larger unit that was available on the first floor. staff was great.

Yes the manager is not professional and does not know how to treat customers or her employees. There needs to be a better well organized manager there to bring the facility where it needs to be.
