I have rented 2 trucks, with dollies, in the past month or two & both times I had to go back to the rental location because the dolly wasn't in the truck. I guess it would be nice if the staff could ensure that any additional items being rented were in the truck when the customer comes to pick it up. Other than that, no issues with U-Haul.Dany M.
My registration was not put in correctly so my â€œpick up keys and goâ€ was an hour and half process, which included having to drive to another store. So, improving the reservation process could help.Lisa B.

Was rerouted due to fires I was taking the U-Haul on a round trip trip however I was late getting the U-Haul back not my fault they ended up charging me anyways and on top of that my driver side mirror was broken so I could even pass anybody I couldn't see you behind me so yeah it was not a fun tripKERRY W.

When we first came into the building the person who helped my husband and I didn't even greet us, just gave a vague head nod and waited for us to say something when we walked up to the counter. The entire experience with him was pretty off putting and he displayed absolutely zero customer service skills, he was honestly just downright rude. His name was Gustavo Lopez. On top of that the truck we rented smelled of cigarettes and clearly hadn't been cleaned for our reservation. We've been to other u-haul locations where the staff were respectful and actually took care of the rentals, we will never go back to this particular location ever again.ADRIAN B.
I reserved a 5x8 trailer from a location 11 miles from my house, I was called a couple of days prior to pickup to be told that size was not available, nor was the location - I ended up with a 6x12 trailer with pickup approx 30 miles away. The trailer itself was fine and towed very well but it cost me quite a few extra dollars in fuel burn over 800 miles. A reservation doesn't mean much if you change both the equipment and pickup location. I certainly didn't need the extra size and weight.PAUL N.

The vehicles are in awful shape. I don't see this with just this location, because the vehicles are all shared. They are old and have lots of exterior damage. I rented a Penske recently and found their trucks much newer and much better shape. I would suggest that UHaul change their rating on their website in regards to what each truck is possible for loading. I had a two bedroom apartment and was suggested a 15ft. I got a 17ft and could have used a 20 foot without having to be a Tetris gamer trying to manipulate every square inch. Also, I had ordered 20 blankets. They were not there at pickup, I had to come back when uhaul opened to retrieve them. This set us back as we couldn't begin moving till next day. No consideration or discount was offered. The staff was very nice when returning the truck. Overall I would give the company a B for a score. Not horrible, but could use some improvement.Chris J.
We pulled in and followed the painted line and waited for a while to be helped. When no one showed up to help us, my son went inside to ask for instructions. An angry man came out of the store with him, unhooked our small trailer and literally THREW the hitch which landed with a loud crash! The man was obviously angry...perhaps stressed and overworked? When my son asked the man if there would be an inspection of our trailer (he was worried the guy damaged the hitch) the man stalked off, refusing to answer. It was very crowded and confusing in the lot, so we just got the hell out of there. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE...REALLY REALLY BAD!!!!!Kay S.

Wash the truck. It was nasty. Improve the mobile app so I can upload more than five pictures of pre-existing damage per field. This truck had tons of dings that we weren't sure we would be charged for. Clerk didn't understand when I cut the line and asked for my keys. Add signage and a way to pick up keys without pissing off customers already in line.Eric R.

The vehicle number on my contract was different than the vehicle they gave me. I returned the vehicle in Phoenix and waited for my email receipt. Instead I got a call from the manager at the drop off location wanting to know where the truck was. I had to return to the drop off location and search the entire lot until I found the truck. Although the service provided at this location was good (but why is it that all UHaul locations have only 1 person working, causing undue wait time?), the service leading up to pick up was awful. No one at the national customer service picked up the phone, nor at any location in Tucson. I had no idea where to pick up my trailer and was calling SOMEONE, ANYONE, to let me know I was put on hold for 10 minutes before I got so frustrated that I hung up. I would NOT recommend UHaul to a friend, but suggest they look into a competitor like Ryder, Budget, or Penske.Donna A.
Offer to assist senior citizen customers picking up and loading their car onto an auto transport. Sadly at 68 my days of climbing under trailers are long gone. It was like pulling teeth to get this young man to help. When he half-heartingly agreed to help, he did a half-ass job. Why I tipped him 10 $I still don't know.STORM H.

I was not treated well by the employees when I came in to rent my truck to move. My card was declined because they were having system problems apparently and when my friend and I asked if we could pay in cash we were told no. So we paid on her card and they failed to tell us she'd now be responsible for the truck she would not be driving. When I came back to return the truck the employee was very nice, but my card ran fine. And I was treated really crappy and when we called corporate and the location itself they treated me like I was sketchy. And I'm just a 20 year old girl trying to move apartments.Olympia J.

The property was not available for us the day we rented it. The code we were given did not work and because it was after hours we needed to go in the following day and get inside. This completely messed up our timeline not being able to access the storage unit the evening we expected to. The staff was great. The space was clean. I'm glad I chose to rent from this storage facility. My only issue is that it doesn't have an elevator for 2nd floor access. Keep that in mind when your thinking about the items your storing. In this businesses defense, that isn't listed on the website.
