Regarding my answer of "No" on question #3 about the facility being clean and maintained: The office and front are always kept maintained. However, when I drove to my new rental unit, there were two (2) old/dirty campers and two old cars immediately in front of the unit. Also, just a security note: The side gate that is located near Building D, was left open and did not close the whole time I was in the office setting up my rental and/or when I was in and out of my unit. Other than those two (2) things, everything else is satisfactory. The Staff has always been very courteous and helpful every time I have visited for boxes, tape, and now the rental.

My workers there are always pleasant but I was upset because when I move in the elevator was broke and when I moved out 30 days later the elevator was still broke whom ever owes this Uhaul doesn't care about the customers to have a storage unit on the 3rd floor and to have to walk up and down 3 flights of stairs just to get my things out was ridiculous....my move in and moving out was an horrible and I wouldn't want anyone to go through the same experience because the elevator was broke it took us longer to move .....in any business it should be to accommodate the customer it shouldn't be about the money only just poor customer service

The reason I chose U-Haul was because of the elevator s. When my movers arrived to move me out, the elevator was not working and the only reply I received from mgmt was that they would have to request a work order. I was very dissatisfied that U-Haul would offer units on 2nd floor with inoperable elevators. I will not be using the Elmwood location again and will not recommend to anyone.

the truck was full of cigarette ashes, dirt, trash, and you couldn't see through the windshield b/c of the dirt. Miss Green sent a helper to put $30 worth of gas in it b/c she stated it was empty. I got 9 miles before the gas notification stated I only had 49 miles left before empty. I put $50 in it and it took me 95 miles and still had more gas than when I left the original facility. I'm rather sure the $30 worth of gas was never put into this rental truck. The back door also had a pad lock on it, which I ended up having to have cut off. Cost us a lot of time that could have been better spent moving.

Ensure that the location they original reserve the vehicle for is the location they pickup the vehicle and not be updated and moved to a location further than their location causing the customer unnecessary and added mileage and cost

This is my third time in a year to use this location. Once again, everything was nice and clean. Please get them some real AC and probably heat as fall is approaching. The young lady, i think Ms. green?, she was there at 8:00 am 09/25. She was spunky, helpful, a comedian and speedy.

Access to facility is confusing. There are locations within a couple blocks of each other. Getting in/out not easy and lot was jammed with vehicles with no marked reyrn location. Inside, staff was great, efficient and friendly

The truck we rented barely had any gas in it, that was disappointing. I think the truck should have been in full and then it can be returned on full.

Not only did we not get the 17' truck we reserved, they didn't even tell us we weren't getting it at check in. We received a smaller truck and didn't realize it until we got to our moving destination. They did not have the furniture blankets or appliance dolly also reserved in advance. It's okay to not be able to provide what is needed but there should always be advance notice so people can make adjustments or new arrangements.

Worst experience of our lives!! Reserved a 10' truck weeks in advance only to find out, the day we were to pick up the truck, that there were NO trucks available. You need to change your name to U-Horrible. We will NEVER use you again, will NEVER recommend you, and will make sure our friends and family know just how horrible UHaul is. Epic failure on your part.

I had a 10' truck pickup from this location on July 30, 2021. When I arrived at this location the general manager told me that there is no truck available for pickup and she forwarded me to another U-Haul address (103 Zimal crest drive), we reached the middle of the road and there was no U-haul there. We again drove back to the Elmwood location and requested to give us a truck because we need it urgently and that's why I booked. After 40 mins of discussion, she finally gave us a truck but the truck was not in its optimum condition. Will recommend confirming your pickup before leaving for the location.

Called day before to confirm equipment would be there. When I arrived I was told there were no trucks and they were overbooked. Luckily as I was standing there a truck pulled in to be returned and I was able to use it. You need to get your crap together with this scheduling and equipment availability. This is the 2nd time I either had to travel to get a vehicle or there was nothing available.

There was a shortage of trucks available when we arrived, but Tomega Green was able to make some miracles happen and find an available one for us in under an hour. She is a life saver! Made our move way less stressful.

Not the facility's fault at all but Uhaul overbooked all the trucks during a move out weekend at a college town. I had rented at 15 foot and had to take a 27 foot that was difficult for me to drive. Then, the equipment I ordered was not available. We had to move with no hand truck and no pads! I had called and spoke with a rep at Uhaul who confirmed my reservation and made it herself. This was incredibly disappointing and a huge deal for us as we had to move my college son out and into a new place. The facility did everything they could to help people with reservations get some form of truck.

Ms. Green was very helpful and accommodated us. Many equipment mixup with my reservation. I was sent from one store to another. She gave us a truck that was suppose to be taken out of service but uhaul keeps making it available. No AC in 95 degrees. Truck was not wiped down from sanitizer. Floor very slippery. I feel a discount is warranted on my invoice from uhaul.

Booked 5 weeks in advance for a 12pm to 7 pm slot. Called by office at 11am of the day to be told nothing available till 2pm and your paperwork said pick up at 2pm. I have the confirmation that shows 12pm pick up. Arrived at 2pm the small truck i needed not available so given a larger one that was too high for the entrance i needed. Drove 4 miles to my destination to discover the lock was broken and had to return to your location to have security man break open lock with hammer. Lost 40 minutes on rental and 8 extra miles that i am being charged for. I look forward to your reply and offer od refund amount for my inconvenience.

The staff did not pay attention to certain things. We were told that the truck was full of gas. It was not. We took the truck 17 miles and ended up putting $22 worth of gas in it which does not equal out to the 17 miles that we used. When we brought it up to the staff, they were rude and claimed that they were not wrong. That it was full. I presented receipts and everything to prove that it wasn't and they still were not willing to solve the issue.

Get a new check-in experience. The automatic check-in is horrible and never works correctly. The on-site management team had to get involved in order to get it to work and this was not the first time.

Truck had some problems. I reported them to attendant. HATED check in procedure. I'm NOT a tech person and don't like the photo BS with my drivers license. They can make a copy, but the "smart phone" BS is a pain in the ass. especially when their equipment wasn't working properly.

The people were great, but you need to make sure the UHaul website reflects that there is no access after 7p... it says the facility is available from 5a-10p.. The location is great so we kept our reservation, but if it wasn't for that we would have changed in order to have expanded hours...

I was in a car accident they day I moved in and couldn't unlock my unit for my movers. The kind ladies in the front moved me to a new unit without hesitation. Truly the best storage experience I've ever had!!
