General rule of thumb don't uses the excuse it's cool outside that's why we didn't check the A/C on a vehicle heading to El Paso, TX. Whatever mechanics the general manager choose to use is terrible and the fact that he says that A/C is the summer in 90 degree temperatures is not necessary is like saying that heat in 20 temperatures isn't necessary. He may need to rethink his position as a manager or maybe think before he speaks.PRESTON W.

I am very disappointed in service I received. I was told by dealer that I made contract with that I would have 5 days to use vehicle. Told them that i didnt need that many, but was told company policy gives 5 days. BUT I would only be charged for days I used it and that other days would be refunded. So I would be credited 400 $or so back to my account. That is why I chose your company. Upon returning the vehicle, I was told this was untrue and would not be receiving my refund for days not used. Also was told was unlimited miles and he said I went over my miles and charged me 50 $more. I was outraged. He then began to belittle the Uhaul company saying that they did not know how to train their dealers and that was the problem. My son is serving his country in the U.S. Army and had to pay two times what he was told he would be paying. Plus the "FREE UPGRADE" to a bigger truck, because they didnt have size requested, used more gas to drive. It's a shame Uhaul would overcharge someone fighting for their freedom to run their business the way they want and not by the Government. This comment has absolutely nothing to do with Evans Mills Uhaul but you're cooperate office in Syracuse. I attempted to reserve a U-Haul in Alexandria Bay New York. I had it reserved got home five minutes later I got a phone call from U-Haul in Syracuse New York informing me that Alexandria Bay does not do reservations that far out in advance. I was trying to reserve it a week and a half in advance. That if I wanted to reserve that far out, I had to reserve it and pick it up and Evans Millâ€˜s. Evans Millâ€˜sIs a half hour drive from me. When I stopped in to the Alexandria bass store a little while later, as in a few days, they did tell me I could reserve there, but they did not have any available for the date I needed. So I would like to know why I was told by someone from Syracuse New York at U-Haul that I could not reserve a U-Haul that far out in Alexandria Bay New York. Because Alexandria Bay New York U-Haul told me I could reserve up to two weeks out. I will never use you all againLESLIE M.

The only issue I had was closing out my storage unit they charged me for an additional month. I closed it in person on feb. 22nd and was told I would get an email notification of the closed account. Instead on feb. 24th I got charged for the next month. I notified the office and they said it will be refunded but it has not shown up as a credit on my credit card account yet. I rented an enclosed trailer. The customer service was decent but took 30 minutes for me to pick up a reservation. I want told the enclosed trailer had a ramp over the phone but there was none when I got there. The trailer itself was rusty in a few spots , and the wooden rails on the sides were dry rot and coming off the walls. Uhaul itself should really open up to getting trucks that have 4x4 capabilities or atleast get some good quality snow tires on their rental trucks, I was stuck in the snow for nearly 5 hours and had to wait for one of my buddies to come pull me out from being stuck and I called uhaul about the situation and they decided to proceed and make me pay an additional 100 $because I ended up being late to their poor quality to have equipment maintained for the winter rentals this time of year especially since the road conditions are very snowy and icy currentlyPreston M.

First off this storage facility has some of the most helpful, well mannered employees!!! The facility itself is well lit at night.
