I tried to book online so that I could drop off at a location that would have saved me 40$. When I tried to book the site told me the equipment wasnt available which wasnt true because when I went to location there were plenty. The clerk in ga told me that I could choose the drop off when I arrived in Ny. My point is that I was charged the full price and wasn't given the choice of the cheaper drop location like I had requested. I feel as though I wasntafforded the same opportunity that I couldve gotten thru website. When I called the 800 # the csr basically said there was nothing she could do about it which I think was absolute bullshit! As for overall experience I would like a refund for the cheaper location. We both know that people dont move north nearly as often as south from NY and I did you as much of a favor as you did for me!!

Waited an hour to be served as one employee did not have computer access. It was very busy and only one functioning employee. This is ridiculous. Several people left after waiting more than 30 minutes. Very frustrating. The employee who served me did a great job once he got to me.

This location needs more help. I reserved a truck, did online check-in and still had to wait 45 minutes while your agent dealt with an apparent first time renter. Also I do not like the two wheel dolly and pads taking up space.

Customer service is very very slow always when renting a uhaul , it shouldn't always take 30 minutes to an hour to get a rental .... need more staff that's a bit faster had more than 3 customers in line behind me waiting and I had a reservation and still was a slow process....

This location is awesome and the staff was extremely fast and friendly . I was impressed with the customer service that I received.... don't know what can be improved at this point... except maybe a better reception area that reflects a more professional environment... but overall , I was totally satisfied !!

However I didn't appreciate my deposit being taken. A uhaul place is a uhaul place it shouldn't matter where you turn it in as long as you receive it. I may have to use you once more to go back to Savannah Ga but I will not after that.

I had a reservation when I got there the truck wasn't ready then the next day I look at my bank statement and they charged me twice and when I called the manager was very rude about it and wouldn't give me my money back

The only thing I was concerned about was when I brought the truck back I didn't know if I put the keys in the right place, but I didn't get a call or text from you all so I must have done it right. Other than that I have no complaints wonderful service.

Mgr Alvin great! I love how he gave encouragement and support to his staff. Made me want a supervisor like that! Very helpful to me as the customer as well. CSR Latasha was very kind and very helpful. Gave recommendations. Great interaction with other staff and customers. I felt valued as a customer. The Inside of the facility was very clean. I am planning to move my items from another local storage facility to this location for the Indoor climate control that is just how impressed I was with the professionalism of the staff, the value and cleanliness of the facility. The only thing I don't like (which Uhaul has no control over) is all of the homeless people constantly around in the vicinity asking for money but I will say the staff does a GREAT job of keeping them away from the facility Itself. Will definitely recommend this locatIon to family and friends.

First of all, that TRUCK DID NOT BELONG ON A LING DISTANCE TRIP. IT TOOK MY SON A DAY LATER TO GET HOME BECAUSE THE GAS GAUGE DOES NOT WORK!!!! HE HAD TO STOP EVERY 2 HOURS TO GET GAS, AND WHEN HE STOPPED, HE STILL HAD GAS, BUT YOUR GAUGE SAID, IT WAS EMPTY!!!! To make matters worse, he was carrying my 2018 Toyota Camry on your Carrier to my new home, so of course he didn't want to RUN OUT OF GAS. One thing, you and I both know, bad news carry far, and wide, and I don't want to have to tell Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and others how UHaul doesn't inspect there Trucks in full details, especially those Trucks that are being used for long distance. I feel as though your Company owes me Monies due to the inconvenience caused by your Company's negligence. The 2nd truck I rented a few days later, I spent over $250.00 for gas, is this normal? I went from Hephzibah, GA to Randolph, Mass., a 900 mile trip. I don't remember paying that much with a big Truck with Penske. Your Company needs to realize it's more Important to keep good Customers coming back, then to keep getting customers. GOOD CUSTOMERS keep your Company going without accidents, and improper use of your Trucks. Your Company owes me Monies. Ms. Jo-Anne Alexander-Fieldings, 617-905-0133

I won't rent from u-haul again. Rented a 10ft for two days. Arrived at location and was told by your employee they only rent those trucks for four hours max, and that they had other customers reserved to use the truck. I was asked why I needed the truck for two days. I said I was moving a 10x20 storage unit, and the employee ask me why it would take me two days to do that. Seriously? How is that any of your business? I was already perturbed that I went to another location to get the truck, and the reservation was moved to this one. Playing 50 questions with your employee only made it worse. If you guys can't keep up with future open contracts on a vehicle that isn't my problem. Sounds like an internal scheduling problem. Corporate should fix that.

Don't matter if you make a reservation or not you will not get what you ask for not only did I not get my van they wouldn't get me a 10-foot truck because I didn't want a big truck I'd end up having to get a 15-footer and not for the time I needed it because of the cost and I made a reservation two weeks in advance so there's no excuse why they didn't have a van there for me to use with all the U-Haul places around there is no excuse for that very dissatisfied I will go to budget next time

They were amazing people. We reserved a cargo truck but really needed a 10 ft truck. They were able to provide us a the truck with a dolly. It really made a difference in our day because we were being taken care of. I hope they continue to gain business and be recognized for their spectacular customer service.

After driving 5hrs to the Uhaul pickup location, there was not a truck available. After, having booked, confirmed and reconfirmed, my reservation was there. Bout no available truck. Employer,Ms Emma Johnson Hanes, went above and beyond the call of duty by making several calls until she located a truck for me. She was most courteous and always professional. She quickly turned my abject disappointment into success. It is strictly because of her that I will use Uhaul again.

When we arrived, no one was there to greet us. After about 10 minutes, a lady came and appeared to be frazzled and said she would be with us. There was no sense of urgency or true recognition that she had customers in the store. After we waited for about 20 minutes, she came back, again seemingly unaware or unconcerned that we were waiting. Mind you, I checked in online which was suppose to speed up the process. Finally another employee came and was very pleasant and finally got us handled. She apologized for our wait. However, I would say the level of professionalism at this location is lacking.

Website indicated that I could pick up truck using mobile phone at original location at 7:00 am - when we arrived the business was closed and When I went to the uhaul “ get my truck” , it said I would have to wait until 9:00 when they opened! Called uhaul and woman was very helpful- found us a truck 5 min away at a location that opened at 7:00. So ended up with only a half hour delay in our schedule.

The return equipment sign verbiage need to reflect truth. It stated to remain in the vehicle and someone with be out to check you in. This never happened, I sent someone into the building after waiting 10 minutes only to be told to leave the key and i could leave. It should clearer tell the customer how to self check in, if there is no need to meet with an attendant.

From delivery to storage to final delivery, this was a horrific experience. NO COMMUNICATOIN. From no one answering phones to them loosing my UBox AT THEIR LOCATION. NO ONE ever called me letting me know when they were picking up and delivery. I made SO many calls to customer service and NO ONE ever followed thru. For me, it seemed the "right and left hands" never knew what each was doing!

I'm in the process of filing a claim because my box arrived in pieces, held together by a ratchet strap, with many of my belongings visible through gaps and holes in the box. My belongings are damaged, destroyed, and even missing. No one has been able to tell me what happened or where my missing belongings are. How can 6-8 boxes just go missing? How come there are no reports filed? How come I didn't find out about this damage until I sought out information?

Very poor customer service from office staff. No one was available at the site, had to drive to another site to confirm my reservation. Staff member didn’t want to honor my previously signed contract regarding my free month of storage. He then lied to me telling me Uhaul changed the offer, not knowing that I had already had a contract number. Once I showed him my email from Uhaul, he said he would give me the free month, but acted as if he had a problem with it. The unit I reserved was for a 10x20, upon entering the storage site, the unit he gave me definitely did not look like a 10x20. I was told storage access was until 7pm, so I left to pack my belongings onto my Uhaul truck that I rented from another location. When I returned at the storage site at 4:30pm, the doors were locked and there were 5 other Uhaul customers waiting and looking for site manager. I patiently waited but when the site manager arrived on the site at 4:50pm, he said the site closed at 5pm because it was Thursday. No one told me this beforehand. He said he was only going to open the door for a customer who had about 3 items to put in her unit. He was rude so I just took my lock off my unit and rented storage from another company. I have always been a Uhaul customer and I plan to continue renting trucks, but I will NEVER rent from the Gordon Hwy location again.
