Horrible customer service from beginning to end. The wrong service was booked, as we were trying to get our trailer hitch installed, so we were told there was nothing he could do as his hand was injured. We were erroneously booked as a hitch inspection. We came back to rent a truck because of their error and though the sales people knew we were there, we were ignored for about 15 minutes. The salesman was very dismissive and passed us on to a female co-worker when they finally decided to acknowledge us. When we tried to return the truck, the app kept giving us an error message and we could not check in because the store was closed at 8. We locked the vehicle and put the keys in the dropbox. I received a call later that night from the rude salesman asking where the truck was and why we hadn't returned it by 8:30. I have many issues with the way this was handled, including the additional expenses we were forced to incur due to your errors. Had our appointment been booked correctly, we wouldn't have had to rent a truck from you I would like this situation rectified immediately, as we have an appointment to have our hitch installed this coming Saturday at this location and don't feel as though we should have to pay full price for that service as the incorrect service was booked by your staff.

The one and only thing that i wasnt happy about with my experience at this location is when i was waiting in line. While in line i heard this guy at the counter say to someone on the phone that he was willing to give up my reservation. Once he realized i was there and i called him out on it he fumbled over his words. I totally understand being in a shitty situation. I mean he was supposed to have a third truck but didnt but thats no excuse for trying to give away a reserved truck. I mean hell, we reserve them so that we know for sure it will be there and ready for us. Ill still recommend this place but at the same time, I'll warn them about the guy with a big beard.

Big thank you to Mike Lahaye, General Manager at this location. I came in on a busy day and even though things were hectic, he was calm and focused and didn't rush me or get aggravated when I had questions. Great guy, very professional, and the truck worked perfectly. First time driving something that big and it was very easy.

The staff recommended a 15’ truck but I had booked a 20’ truck and I ended up not being able to fit all of my stuff in it which when I returned to ask for help, they shrugged and were not helpful at all. They wanted to charge me for another 10’ truck. They told me that they would make a reservation for me for storage in Boston and never did so when I got to Boston I spent over 2 hours in U-Haul trying to get the storage

It is hard to do this review because I had originally booked the rental at Bobs Sunoco in White River Jct. Vermont for 3:00 or Sunday. I had checked with them as I was told on the Friday before to make sure the truck would be there and was told I was all set. When I got there Sunday at 3:00 the truck was not there. I then had to go to Lebanon NH. To get a truck. Thankfully my experience there was much better.

staff was rude, short and snappy when asked questions. Made a reservation via phone got the confirmation number then showed up and they had no record of it. Miranda said she couldn't find the truck under our name or the reservation number. We then rent another truck drive away and an hr later they are on the phone wanting to know why we are late picking up the truck. Miranda also said we didn't need to do the walk around when I asked if she would do it with us. She didn't have time and said just put gas in it when you return it. Again staff was rude when dropping it off. We won't use this location again. to wait in line and hear staff complaining about vans in the lot and some one needs to go log them in while being condescending to the costumer he is waiting on is crazy. it may be hard to find good staff but with your current staff it will be hard for you to find customers.

This place was great - the staff were super friendly and easy to work with. They had impeccably clean equipment and more than enough packing supplies for us. The only issue was a slow checkout when we arrived. There was only one person at the register/checkout counter, and a decent line of people waiting to get their equipment. I'd recommend maybe thinking about staffing that area a little better so that people can be moved in and out faster. It would improve everyone's customer experience.

The overall location of the U-Haul center is conveniently located off I-89 and personnel are patient, courteous and efficient, however the return lane for returning rental trucks partially blocks parking spaces for other customers so getting in /out of the parking lot is tight and requires backing up into the space where cars enters the lot from a busy street. Parking and the traffic flow in the lot is a minor issue though and I would rent from this location again.

Waited in line for 35 minutes while only one person was working the check-in counter on a Saturday morning. Having made my reservation online in advance to line up my rental, thought I'd pick it up and go. Not the case. But the van itself was great-clean, new, and just what we needed. I wouldn't use this location again because of the lack of service.

The staff was professional, helpful, and knowledgeable about their craft. I have had terrible service with other U-Haul's in the past and only went back to them because I had an emergency. When I arrived, the wait was less than 5 minutes. The staff handled my reservation with ease (I suggest you pre-check out online like I did before I arrived). It was pouring rain and the staff guided me to the trailer, hooked me up and the only thing I had to do was check the lights/damage on the trailer with them and drive away. They were helpful and AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

4.5 hrs for a simple install. Appointment was at noon. Didnt even get in till 130. Work order was wrong. Installer didnt even have sense enough to check for a fuse when he couldn't get power. Unreal. I lost half a days wages for what shoulf have been a 1/2 hour job. 1 hour max. The place was chaos. Never again.

The lady hooking up the trailer couldn’t get the trailer hooked up on the ball all the way. So with the trailer sitting on the top of the ball she asked me to move the truck and trailer up near the garage. I have pictures of it. I drive truck for a living all she had to do was let me look at it and I could have shown her what was wrong. Instead she had us move the trailer which was not secured correctly. Not safe and you guys are lucky it didn’t come of and damage my truck. I think it’s funny they take a picture when it’s hook up before you leave but don’t take a picture of the dumb stuff they do in the yard. This is all after I had been waiting for an hour.

Installation took 3 hours! Way too long for a simple hitch installation. There is literally just a couple of guys managing the entire store. I wouldn’t return nor would I recommend this store, solely because it’s severely understaffed and take too long to get anything done

Not that I care that the truck was disgusting on the outside with bugs, etc but the windows were caked in crap and had to stop and clean them just to see clearly out the windshield and side windows. The customer service, rental process and employee at the pickup location was awesome. Very friendly, personable and great sense of humor. Spent more then enough time walking us around the truck, making sure we knew how to work everthing.

The staff canceled my reservation before I arrived. They said they tried to call first but I did not receive any calls or voicemails. I did receive an email message confirming my reservation that morning, however. Instead of trying to help me find another truck, they told me they saw one in another lot 9 miles away and told me to go try to rent it. I got on the phone with UHaul corporate and Lyrik moved things around on the Lebanon schedule and secured me a truck. Mike arranged for me to drop it in Greenfield, MA instead of Brattleboro, which saved me money (thank you). But did not add enough miles for the additional trip, even though I asked him to. I was charged for the extra miles. Additionally, a friend arrived as I was leaving to pick up his hitch and they told them it wasn't available. It was the second time he had driven from Vermont to pick it up and the second time he was turned away. I don't know what is going on at that store but I absolutely would not recommend it to anyone.

There was an issue with the computers when I went to pick up my rental. I tried the express check in but still could not get truck until computers came back which was two hours later. The staff went in the back, frustrated, so it took a while to find a person to even speak with. With the amount we were charged, it was pretty disappointing experience during an already stressful time moving!

My appointment was changed from my original time I set online and then when I brought it in the morning, the manager told me he needed to change it to 6:30pm. I then planned to pick up the next morning and asked for a call as soon as it was ready. The call never came and 5 calls into Uhaul and I was never able to get through. I reached the main Uhaul number but could never get through to the local office. I picked my car up two days later and was very disappointed in the process.

I arranged my rental online with an in-store pick up. The price quoted at the store was significantly higher than that online and it took a Manager correct it. The initial customer service agent I had was very unhelpful and told me never trust the internet prices but had no further information on why there was a difference or how to correct it.

Trailers really need a crank on them. Once any size we have ordered is loaded, it is impossible to hitch it onto the towing vehicle without major help, in this case of a friend with a tractor and a lift. Also, the automatic breaks on the trailer caused more problems than help. We needed to back the rig up a driveway on a hill. Couldn't be done because of those brakes. We couldn't find a way to manually disengage them, which means we needed more training from your personnel.

I had a 9 am hitch installation appointment. When I got there, there was a huge line and it took me almost 30 minutes to speak to someone. I was told that the hitch installation would take 1.5 - 2 hours, and would be ready at 11 - 11:30. I told them I did not have anyone picking me up and would be waiting. At 12 pm, I finally reached out to someone and was told that my car hadn’t even been started. I asked why no one talked to me to tell me my car appointment would be so delayed. They told me that they would pull my car in soon and they would go quick with my car, but to expect another 1.5 hours. I am 32 weeks pregnant with twins and had an appointment at the hospital. I ended up taking my car to the hospital and was back a little before 1pm. My car wasn’t ready until a little after 2pm. I think this service is absolutely unacceptable. If they had called to tell me my car wouldn’t be ready until a later time, I would have had my husband pick me up instead of wasting my time at Uhaul. This was absolutely unacceptable and I will not be recommending this location.

I was scheduled to pick up my truck on Sunday, May 5. I called to see if I could pick it up on Saturday and was told the truck was not due back until Sunday morning. Upon arriving to pick up the truck I found out that the truck had been at the location all week! The employees did not like the new supervisor/manager so gave out false information hoping it would reflect badly on him causing him to be fired. My suggestion is you fire the employees working on May 4 who outright lied to me. A respected business has no place for bad self serving employees who intentionally gave out false information thereby making my moving experience more stressful.

After picking up my trailer I proceeded to take it home loaded my motorcycle. I drive for a living and I was doing a pre-trip on the trailer before leaving in the morning when I noticed rust coming from the Lugnuts as somebody who drives I know this sometimes means a loose lug nut so looking closer I discovered that three of the Lugnuts I could remove with my fingertips I took a video to show proof of this which is extremely dangerous for myself and the public so I proceeded to torque them to the 50 pounds that is specified on your trailer I am Horrified that a trailer would go out in this condition this location needs to look closer at it’s equipment

The layout of the location is tight. Little parking, crammed lot, only one entry/entry and it was all jammed up when I tried dropping the truck off. Moving is stressful, I felt stressed when I dropped the truck off, I imagine everyone else there picking up was stressed too. I suggest adding another entry/exit

The staff was courteous and friendly. However the facility is very inadequate. They really need an elevator. I did not expect to lug things upstairs or balance them on a steep narrow conveyor belt.

As far as I am concerned the Hanover Street uhaul is the company's only beacon of light. People there were friendly and helpful after a poor experience dealing with call center reps who were clueless.

Hard to get your stuff into, must walk up stairs then down stairs to get to the unit. Massive conveyor belt makes it easier to get stuff down but dangerous for kids. It was clean.

I was quoted a 13 X 9 and got a 10 X 10. Had to throw 4 things away cause they didn't fit. Was over 3 days and paid $139.95. I didn't get the correct storage I shouldn't have to pay the $139.95!

I had problems while here. First, the automatic payments got messed up and I was locked out of my unit due to Uhaul error. Also, there was water damage and a lot of senimental items were ruined.

The manager is so terrible at this location. He is by far the worst manager I have ever met in a business. I live very close to this uhaul location so I use it a lot and every single time he is rude.
