This was not the location I had reserved but found out when I did the online check in that this had changed. I called ahead to see if I could pick up earlier than my 9 AM registration which they allowed me to do which I very much appreciated. Very nice location and staff.

The truck was filthy on the outside. Couldn't see out the windshield to drive. Electrical hookup for car dolly had been previously dragged on the ground and the contacts were barely there. A friend had to zip tie the wire to the truck to make it stay in place for the lights to work ON MY CROSS COUNTRY TRIP! Also- they offered truck loading help, arranged it for me and the movers never showed up so my friend and I had to load the 15 ft truck ourselves, WE ARE IN OUR 60s.

Just one comment to try and update online account faster with the exact address for pickup. I had a preferred pickup location upon reservation, but when I called to confirm my reservation, the pickup / dropoff location changed. However, the online portal never changed addresses, so I'm glad I called ahead to confirm where I should pickup the truck.

Went in for my 7:30am reserved pick up to find out that one of their employees the night before took the keys home with him. The manager that was assisting me was trying to brush off that it wasn't a big deal by telling me that the key would be there soon. After 30 minutes of waiting for his employee to arrive, I approached him that what would he do to rectify this issue, he caught an attitude and told me he could cancel it if I didn't want it. I told him I reserved it for a reason and I am on a time crunch. He was trying to justify why he wasn't RESPONSIBLE at all for HIS employees unorganization. AFTER I approached him he THEN got the bright idea to look for a spare key. Then goes to make sure it works which it did (truck was unlocked already to begin with) and then checks me out. Then I go to get in my truck and they are barely cleaning it. Lack of empathy for the customer, HORRIBLE customer service and will make it seem like its YOUR fault when its actually THEIR mess up. I would avoid this Uhaul store all together. (Would give it 0 stars TBH)

My vehicle was changed last minute and given different vehicle. The person who was attending us had no knowledge about the process and after telling them about our concern they asked us to go to different person for the resolution, by this time we were already beenasked twice to go to different person. After telling them that we don't have moving dolly in the vehicle they didn't listen and asked us check again. We had to make multiple rounds from vehicle to main counter to get our issues resolved. The fuel charges were not matching with what we drove. The fuel was less than 40 percent when we received the vehicle and we gave them when it was 31 percent, for that we had to pay 15$. I will not be going to this facility for my future need and will not recommend anyone to use uhaul from this facility.

All around it was excellent from Idaho to final destination in Wisconsin. The Uhaul team was well trained and helpful from office to the delivery team.

I called him and told him to padlock. When I got there they told me there was a padlock and keys. When I got home and got the truck loaded there was no padlock and I had to leave it on the street in Minneapolis unlocked with all of my personal stuff in it. When I called them they had no solutions. Then I got a text telling me that my truck was due back at 7 o'clock the next day. I had rented it for two days and picked it up at 3 o'clock on a Sunday. When I was in the store they told me it was due back at 3 o'clock on Tuesday which made complete sense. When I called U-Haul they said it's still at back at 7 PM so I would only have it for 27 hours and not another person was picking up in the morning so I needed to have it back. Even though I had paid 3995 for two days and insurance for two days.

My rental got moved to a site 20 miles away. The only indication I got of this was a text message saying my rental was confirmed and the address. Since I didn't have the address of the initial location memorized it didn't register that this wad not the location I had originally scheduled at. In addition to having to pay for the addition 40 miles of milage charges for the location that was further, and the uber ride to get to the other location, I also got charged for two days instead of 1, double the insurance, and $65 of fuel even though I had filled the tank back up. After 20 minutes on hold the customer service agent was able to refund the $120 of extra charges, which was double what I should have been charged. Thank God I checked the receipt.

I want to give a huge shout out to the three different locations I dealt with on Saturday June 18th. I forgot to read the fine print on my emailed reservation. I also got mixed up as to where I had to pick up the trailer. So I started at the Silver Lake Rd location in New Brighton MN. This is where I made the in person reservation. He quickly and kindly said I needed to go to the Blaine location for the pick up. Again, my fault for not reading the reservation accurately. At Blaine I realized the reservation was for PM not AM. It was then I began to panic. Realizing I did not see the PM. Your employee quickly jumped into triage mode to find me a good solution. He was kind and helpful. As he searched he found an available trailer at the Como location. I was so grateful and relieved as I had people coming to load the trailer at a certain time. When getting the trailer hooked up your yard guy was so friendly and helpful. Cudo's for hiring nice and knowledgeable employees. Same thing on the return. Different guy, but same attitude. I would highly recommend your organization for any type of vehicle or trailer they might need.

I had a reservation for 8:30 am. Despite arriving within the window, I had to go through the line twice because the location gave away the available trailers to walk ins. I ended up getting a late start and found the process frustrating. The attendant also lacked knowledge of how to properly hook up a trailer. Thankfully I've done it enough that I got it working.

Renting out a cargo van with less than 1/4 tank of gas wasn't great. You shouldn't have to put gas in it before you know how much you'll use. Other than that, good experience. Nice van, like the backup camera.

Equipment return 1 minute after close. Online couldn't find my reservation number. Called customer service, 10 min wait to be told have to talk to another department. Transferred and on hold 1 hour and 11 minutes. I hung up noone answered. Online app, check-in, always has issues! 5 time motorcycle trailer rental, every time a big hassle.

When I went to rent the truck the clerk handed the keys to me. Said it's out back somewhere walked out back truck was blocked in went back up front tole clerk it was blocked in he tried to give some keys one of these be the truck you will need to move. No I'm not moving the trucks around if something happens I will be held liable when I tried to return the truck I was told to set over there we will call you when it's checked in 40 min later I just left I had to drive to Indy. IN. Can't wait all day to check it in. Very lazy staff

Great work, made it very easy to get a room at short notice and I managed to fit 2 couches and some boxes in their 5x5x10 with it having that extra height it made it extremely efficient !

I did a mobile pickup, but it wasn't very clear that there was a second parking lot behind the building and not near the main office. Additional signage directing people to the alternate parking area would be helpful.

I think that Uhaul should introduce a reward program and if we have an account set up already we get an instant 100 points! Here's how I think it should be set up. For every dollar spent per month it will go towards rewards such as: 10 boxes 100 20 boxes 200 Full pack of boxes 300 (Other supplies) Rentals I.e. dollies, blankets You already have 1 free month of storage add a month for points whatever the monthly rent is that is the amount plus 00 so if storage is $179 per month the customer gets 179 points but needs 1790 point to claim a free month. Other discounts could be reduction in mileage.$0,2 off for 200 points. Earn free rentals if $19,95 they need 1995 points. It may seem like a lot but in the month of May I had to rent 4 times, get a storage and almost a Ubox! In June Twice and will have to rent yet ANOTHER on Friday! I could easily have a good amount of Upoints…call it Ustar rewards. The reason you would give 100 points if we're already a member because no additional money would need to be spent to those of us.

It seemed that they had an issue of labor shortage. The person who serve me was kind and helpful, but I waited more than 15-20 minutes in the waiting lines.

Horrible. They lost the reservation credit card info from our school so I used my card provisionally. We switched the card in person but I was still charged on my personal card. Today they called me stating the truck had not been returned. Not only has it been returned, the kid who called was the person who received it. Further, we refused the first truck as the driver side mirror was duct taped and bungee corded on. Totally illegal and if I took that truck and the mirror came off causing damage to another vehicle it would be my fault. So would a ticket. Avoid this location and do not book with corporate! Corporate and franchises do not communicate electronically or otherwise.

I rented a haul it was all dusty on the dashboard made me sneeze constantly. About 10 minutes of driving the vehicle the put air in rear tire came on. The windshield was full of bugs when I got in the vehicle. This should not be be happening if they are checking air pressure before renting out vehicles While driving there was a loud sound from the back of the truck I called was informed that was normal something to do with the hookup. Just not happy with this rental at all not well maintained vehicle I was in. I called last week someone was supposed to call me never heard anything back. Went in to dispute a charge yesterday. Had been previously told the charge was an error and was given a print out as proof. When the refund never happened, went back in to ask about it. After waiting 50 min to speak to a manager, was told I'd have to come back today to talk to someone else who would be there “sometime between 7am-1pm”. I decided I'd just dispute the charge with my credit card company and told the agent “I decided what to do” and he cut me off and said, word for word “I really don't give a damn what you're going to do”. I left without another word. This is not a good look for this store or this company. Deal with your people. This happened on Friday June 3 at approximately 4pm, Como Park location.

Let the customer know how to find vehicle by looking at the key chain and the Top of vehicle. Check the vehicle to make sure it runs properly. There was break issues. Report the correct check in time. Have a sign outside to where you should return vehicle.

I rented a pick-up truck and didn't think to check the truck bed. The previous renter left a bunch of cardboard and packing materials, which I didn't realize until I was on the freeway and saw it flying around in the rear-view mirror. I still had room for my stuff, but was left to take care of their mess or let it blow all over the road. Don't count on U-Haul staff to check equipment - take a few seconds to peek around to be sure it's ready for you.

I've rented from this location several times over this past weekend and only one experience was bad. For this rental I reserved a 10' truck but was given a van by mistake a happy mistake as it was easier to drive as well as a newer van with just 2278 miles. The staff is friendly and hard working I will say that this visit (so close to closing time) the store was a little disheveled than usual.

My experience with the Ubox staff was excellent. Great communication, flexibility, and had a solid understanding of what they were doing. However The front desk of the uhaul store was consistently sub par. Not only were they unable to help me with any questions (even when asking for just a phone number) they consistently gave me incorrect information when they did at all. My experience with the website and 1800 number was clunky and time consuming. It was unclear who to contact for ubox and when I did get someone on the phone, although she seemed to know what she was doing, took forever to schedule the pick ups

There was absolutely bad customer service. And latter on when I returned no body didn't talk to me when I was picking up they said just pick up from there and they refused to check with me. When I returned they said just leave there and you good to go. After I left the yard they just charged me $77,28 for something I don't know and they didn't tell me anything. I want to go tomorrow and ask what the hell is this. Just they have my credit card number that doesn't mean they can charge me whatever they want. Shitttt

This location was very busy and they were a little short on availability. I was able to extend my rental but I still felt rushed. The vehicle was on E when I received it. Was I had to use valuable time to put gas in it.

My truck alerted me that one of the tires needed air, they were not able to find an adapter to fill the tire with air so I was told to find a gas station and fill it up. Also the employee told me the wrong tire that was low on air. If I'm expected to return a vehicle in correct condition I should not be expected to bring the vehicle to drivable condition. I'll have to think about where to rent a truck later this month when I'm moving my fiancé and I.

We called the U-Hall on University Ave St,Paul we had a truck Reserved for pick up on Larpenter Avenue for 9:00 am Friday May 27th . My husband arrived at 9:00 and nobody was there ! There was no U-Hall sign or rental info anywhere my husband was not even sure if he was at the right place.He called a corporate U-hall number and was told they don't open until 9:30 and was then sent to como Ave for our rental! I don't know if all the U-Halls are ran by the same people or not but this was a horrible experience and threw our whole timeline for our move off ! I hope I never need to use U -Hall again ! Not to mention they couldn't find us in the system when we call to request a receipt which they said they would E mail and never did ! Sloppy business operations

Clean the trucks. My truck was derty in cab and cargo area and was not at right gas mark I pointed to one of guys and he said just marked on the app they charge us when we return trucks derty but don't discount when they give trucks not clean I should get a discount

First reservation didn't work. Second one worked after a bunch of hassle. Tried to return and was told to go back outside and wait. No one came out. After 30 minutes I returned on app. Found out I was charged for insurance. Went in and talked to employee. He said “too late now”

Asshole kids run this place. Had to park a block away in the rain. No one to help with equipment return. Every time I rent a truck, the employees act like they hate their job, and would rather be playing video games or working on their fingernails. I hate having to go to UHaul.

I was very pleased with the prompt professional service by office and parking lot personnel. When we returned the trailer an employee checked the trailer in and concluded the return with an email a quarter hour before the store officially opened. I was pleased.

My reservation was canceled and I did not receive the $50 guarantee applied to the location my reservation was transferred to. Then, I got a $57,75 fuel overcharge. I returned the van with more fuel than I had when I left the lot. I have photos of everything and will dispute the entire charge with my credit card if this is not resolved.

I went to empty my unit to find out someone had broken in from the top. They went through my things and stole property. Interested to find out the results. Seems like an inside job. Very disappointed. And I had insurance.

All staff members I've interacted with over the past few days have been very willing to help - in particular Lisa - when navigating busy phone lines, answering questions, dealing with stressed-out customers, and new employees who appear to be still in training and not yet "in the know." I would recommend telling new employees to communicate to customers that they will help FIND the answer vs. the "I'm new" and throwing their hands up in the air. It does not instill confidence or empowerment to them, or your clients. That said, everyone has been friendly and polite to me. Merci.

24 hour access like the store outing crystal would have been nice since I had a smaller unit here and was paying the same price as I was there. That and the lighting kinda sucks when the light on the rows are on it's still way to dark in the units but what sucks is how short the timer is on them. Having to go out of the unit and jump around just to trip the motion light was very inconvenient. But the staff is awesome here, the place is very well maintained, and it feels very secure, not once was I worried about my safety or my stuff.

Because of the storage place a Los things they kept cutting the locks and changing the locks I think it's a scam so they can get paid for the locks they lose the keys when they change the locks so you'll have to buy new ones with your upgrade it make you pay more for locks. Had to cut lost twice to see if they don't lie to my face would never ever come there again

Staff is rude. They give yiu a free month and then cut it off before the deadline and refuse to let you in. Asked me to pay and when I get there I am escorted off being told they don't want me there then turn around and sell things they legally aren't allowed to sell. Don't ever go here.

Communications were difficult with this location until I got hold of the new Manager - Ethan Aveen-West--and his very friendly and capable staff Anthony. Even over the Thanksgiving holiday the staff worked very cooperatively with us. GOOD JOB AND THANK YOU VERY MUCH ! BROOKS

I was assisted by Josiah and Lisa. They both went above and beyond to help me choose between UBox and UStorage options. I am from out of state (Las Vegas NV) so this decision was stressful for me, but they made it easy for me to come to a firm and resolute decision. Josiah even lent me his personal tool set so I could socket wrench apart some of my pieces for storage. This is by far one of the cleanest UHaul Storage facilities I've ever experienced. Every staff member I encountered seemed happy to be there and eager to help. I particularly appreciated the loading dock option and the 24 hour access indoor garage loading option to keep me out of the 5 degree snowy weather. I highly recommend this facility.

Simply awful behavior by current manager. After his disparaging attitude and behavior toward me I said that he was being patronizing to me. He glared at me and walked away despite not finishing transaction. I reapproached him and he said that I had called him a name. Not so. He then told me to leave and return if I chose. I calmly but assertively requested his manager's contact info. He refused. Men in line looked shocked. I went to my car and returned a few minutes later. He then transformed into a different personality. Very odd !! Very spooky man.

Overtime I have appreciated U-Haul compared to his competition like for the past decade or so it has become clear to me that this office, that's the intersection of, and 280, is superior and just about any way to any competition within U-Haul or from outside. The storage is just one more thing that they're doing very well and it ties in very well with renting their vehicles. There need to be clear signage in the building regarding after hours access. We were locked out during our move in with our unit still open inside with belongings in it. It would have been nice to been given either an announced warning the doors would be locking or at the very least have the time the doors lock posted on the access entry. I do realize that the hours are in the email that is sent but after spending 2 straight days moving a lot of people are not going to read through the email they just want to get finished with their move. Other than that the the staff were all extremely friendly and helpful and the location is clean and security seems to be a priority. There were also plenty of carts to help get our belongings in.

I moved out on 7/20 then was charged for my unit that was billed on 7/27 as well as a late fee and an embarrassing letter stating that I didn't pay my bill was sent to my emergency contact. But it was uhauls bad, they forgot or failed to notice that I put in my move out request on 7/20. Totally embarrassing.

He was patient and kind and very supportive to my needs. This store on como ave in Minneapolis/St. Paul area is advertised as a 24 hr storage unit, so I got there at around 7pm right as the office was closing down for the day, yet I managed to get service and I got to rent a unit for my stuff. However as I was wrapping up my move, I still had just a couple of things to bring when all of a sudden the door locked on me and couldn't come in anymore having to leave a lot of my stuff unattended all thru the night and Im glad nothing got stole, but I feel like this happened because any of the ppl that worked there did not tell me anything about it. That is not even the whole problem. There is a phone number on multiple signs that say to call the gm for after hours service, but the phone would go straight to voicemail making this situation a lot more frustrating and unnecessary that it needed to be. I even called costumer service for help and they couldn't even reach this guy and or couldn't help me at all. I wasted over 3 hours dealing with this that day and at the end I just gave up and left only to come back in the morning just to secure the unit I just rented. You guys need to be more clear about you overnight policy or at least tell your customers about it. That didn't have to be as frustrating and difficult like it was that night/morning. Merci

I didn't like the fact that I was told to get blankets but they told me that blankets are sold but rented for $5 a day! Seems like a better rate for the sale of blankets people can use in the storages to protect their furniture.
