First of all the reservation for the rental was placed from our cellphone uhaul app we wanted a van, at the time that Mr Ortega whent to pick up the van they had none available, not only that they stated that they had no reservation on his name even dough he had the receipt for his reservation. second of all they complaint when they realized they needed to offer him something else to compensate followed after that they ask him how many miles he'll be driving he answer 400 maybe 500 the front clerk lady ones again complaint stating that that was way to many miles that she'll would be putting only 200 miles at his return they also complaint that he went way past the 200 miles... Mr. Ortega has rented from uhaul a lot of times and has been a customer for quite some time, and the trucks that he has rented had never been return with any kind of problems at all he even has returned them with more gasoline that it has been at the time of picking up his rentals and always cleans the trucks before returning them. but at this point we are considering looking for another rental company that might be more people skill and that are capable of respecting there costumers. Mr. Ortega paid almost 400 $dollars just to be mistreated. and that is a total fail from UHAUL company.

Doesn't know how to talk to the customers. Same thing happened on the April 12th when I reserved a truck as well. At the time of returning, the lady who was supposed to check everything on the truck was seemed so bothered by my return of the truck. Asked me where the key is, I said it's inside the truck and she literally expressed the tone "arghhh" Seriously! This is how u talk to a customer! These people really need to know manner.

ABDERAFIH B.I ordered two boxes. When I arrived, they had been given to someone else because they had so few boxes. The manager, Noel, came and assembled one for me. It was agreed that the other one would be available the next day. The next day I came for the next box and it wasn't ready. It was agreed that I'd come back a day later. A day later I arrived and the team hurriedly cleaned and gave me a box without moving pads. I have spent over 2 hours waiting for the boxes and am not confident that my waiting is over as I'll need to pick them up and return them once more.

Karen S.I had a flat tire and could not find a phone number for roadside assistance which forced me to call the main 800 number. I was put on hold for at least 45 minutes. When a live person finally answered, she gave me the phone number for roadside assistance. The guy from roadside assistance did a good job, but it still took another 90 minutes before anyone showed up. I rented the trailer at about 9:30 AM (for 24 hours) and had only about 3,5 hours to use the trailer and about 2,5 hours stuck on the road with a disabled trailer that was ultimately hauled away on a truck because you didn't have a spare tire. Is this your MO????!!!!

XINYU Y.I think they are charging customers to refill gas that has been unfilled by previous customers. The tank in the truck I received was not completely filled. I drove the truck 30 miles roundtrip and had to put in nearly 10 gallons of gas. I did not use 10 gallons of gas. The gas gauge needle was almost at the F when I picked up the truck. I thought the tank was full. When I explained all this to the staff, they refused to help me, said they couldn't do anything. I had to request to call the manager. I only asked for a partial refund for the gas, not the full cost, but they still declined to do anything. The manager, Noel Marin said he would take care of it, but I have not seen any refunds on my credit card yet.

First of all I made my reservation a month in advance, arrived on time for pickup only to get there to be told my truck was not available and they could not place me in a truck available because it was reserved for another customer but because someone didn't return their rental on time I was inconvenienced, the manager was very nonchalant and unhelpful and told me I only had 2 options take a truck that was too huge or wait til later in the afternoon. I had to move that morning that's why I made a reservation. The only helpful associate was a young lady named Deanna who got me a slightly smaller truck than I reserved but she was friendly, sympathetic and helpful and that ended up working out. I was then charged 20 $extra for cleaning and another for returning after hours. SMH I feel maybe I was charged extra fees because me and the manager bumped heads and I wasn't there to defend myself. Well lesson learned, there are more moving companies other than Uhaul I will sure be using from this day forward and I will never recommend anyone to this company. Horrible horrible service!
LATANYA M.This location charged a 25 $cleaning fee. I had the unit for 6hrs, house to house, no dirt, nothing left in back of unit. I will dispute the charge with my bank. I called the location, phones rolled over to customer service. They claim I have to go back to the loaction to get a credit.

Francias C. | Expérience généraleYou have an employee Her name is Pondra, that was forcing me to buy insurance on the storage, when I had previously talked to 2 different people that didn't mentioned anything about an insurance, she said I had to purchase insurance since I was getting the first month "free" for he storage and then she got upset because I asked to talk to her manager Noel Marin. Also the unit I had previously "reserved" #1020 was an occupied unit and we found out until we got there. Then I had to comeback to the office to let them know. They took a long time to find out what unit was available because I told them I had seen unit 1018 empty and I wanted that one, but they said it wasn't available (an empty unit). They didn't give me that one. Then I finally leave the office with a different unit # and they didn't give a new gate code, so I got lock out outside the gate because my previous gate code didn't work anymore after they changed my storage unit and the truck was inside already the storage area.... well, I had to comeback to the office AGAIN and everybody was gone so, I had to chase them down to get them to fix my situation. So once inside your employee Pondra was very upset because it was past 7 pm and they were still dealing with "ME" but she didn't want to help me with anything, she totally ignored my previous request for help when I was inside the office. She pretended that didn't see me and pretended to be busy, even when I tried talking to her she will answer "hold on" and disappear and stay outside talking with people. Finally they figured out what to do with the gate code and made me choose a new code number, so this time I asked Somarion to walk with me to the gate and make sure I had it right. And while I was dealing with this whole situation Pondra was rude to my son, she asked him to move from in front of her because he (my son) wasn't supposed to "see her counting the money"... note: he was sitting on the customer area, just waiting for me to finish and she was inside the employee side and she had the decency to ask him to move from there and she told him "he wasn't supposed" to see her with the money YES just like that. It was a very frustrating experience that took almost 2 long hours to complete and get right. I was really upset!!! You need better and trained customer service in there!!!

I had some trouble with access to my indoor storage unit the last time I was there and had to wait for someone to help...I was told I was the first one to access the indoor units that day so my code wasn't opening the doors and they had to be opened by a manager, seems odd for a facility that is supposed to have 24 hour access.

He could of been more helpful in the situation but he was rude. After dealing with him he left a bad taste in my mouth with Uhaul. I will use my free month with my UHAUL rental and move straight into a Public Storage. Units are "supposedly climate controlled" and dirty.

Grapevine location did not place the tire rubber stoppers on the auto transport (services I paid them for) and the bottom of my vehicle was cracked and dragging on the ground preventing me from driving. The Norcross location, was very nice and helpful. I can appreciate customer service experiences like this. I am grateful to them.
