First place I've ever been for a storage and not only has it was my first place it was the worst place and I lost all my stuff because the manager in the person that sold me my store is not a pulled in the right information that I was supposed to be told and I didn't appreciate it 500 $Fit For A 9 000 $dollar bed not to mention i put a complaint from day one with the employee tooo busy hitting and trying to get my number then his job lost a couch and several values that i would of paid if people would of just been up front thanks never will i come back

Fix the front buyers of the vehicles before handing them to clients so that the vehicle can turn left or right without causing rubbing with the tire. Get the vehicle aligned. Identify when shocks are blown so that its able to maintain tightness while changing lanes. Identify when a ramp is not going in and out smoothly so that they won't slam there arm trying to put the ramp away. Identify actual milage before loaning out uhaul so it doesn't have to be corrected. And have the vehicle parked in a position where a client can move it from the lot without having to move anther uhaul out of the way

Experience was notated on the account , even after taken care of on the new rental the next day still complications , watched a worker crash the truck into the front of another truck and just hand me the keys like nothing happened . After I already clicked good on the inspection . All types of weird things going on at this location tbh

The wait to get the boxes took forever since there was only one person working. But service was amazing when I returned the boxes! Everyone was very friendly and attentive.

I rented a trailer and the lady at the counter told me to go over by the propane tank and someone would help me hook up. I went to the area and waited for 10 minutes. All this time I watched an employee stand around and talk to another guy while hanging on the tailgate. He looked over at me 3 separate times but just went back to talking. It wasnt until I backed up to a trailer and started to hook it up by myself that another guy came over and finally helped me. He was a very nice person and very helpful but I don't feel that I should have to wait that long especially when someone is just standing around talking

I was out in the parking lot waiting for my husband and this guy walked up to me and said how did you like the truck was everything as expected I said yes the point is he went out of his way to make sure my experience was a 10 I wish I knew his name anyway great customer service it was near closing and on a Sunday and it was like natural for him to look out for uhal thanks!!

I was cheated on the fuel when I returned my rental. I returned the truck with 1/4 tank of gas just as I received it and showed it to the person checking me in. I was charged a 30 $fuel surcharge plus 25 $in fuel. I called five minutes after dropping the truck off when I received my email and spent an hour on the phone with U-Haul. I provided a copy of my fuel receipt from the gas station across the street moments before check in and have yet to have the problem resolved.

Truck was older 20 footer. Ash try was full. Vent diverter was broken. Windshield was dirty inside. It ran good Did what I needed to do. Y'all took good care of me when I had thief's steel my cadalitic converter. On mechanical problems at all.

Initial drop-off location did not have any tools for removing stuck trailer, so had to drive with less-than-secure connection to the LBJ location. LBJ location was very helpful.

It doesn't matter what I say nothing ever gets done. I emailed a General Manager this week & never replied so go figure. But I have contacted my nearest Home Depot rental department & they charge a flat fee of 129 $for 24 hours. I've used UHAUL for over 25 years but it's time for a new rental company.

Rentals process took longer due to employee being new , person who was training kept walking away from her . At one point I just looked at her screen and guided her where to go next , employee told me she doesn't feel comfortable at the counter . She doesn't like dealing with front counter , but they wanted her to be trained on the counter . Person who was training didn't really showed how to build customer report , offer the right products or the system . He offered me LDW , when I asked what does it cover , he told me that It's a little bit complicated , brochure can guide me through it. He game me paperwork , I looked at it there are so many pages I just want to know what it is , finally he game generic answer of peace of mind. When I said I'll take it that was the only time when he smiled . Return process , awful . Pulled up to return the trailer , pulled up to the green canopy . Set therefor a while , no one came out . I sent my BF to see what are the steps to return this thing . He Found the guy sitting in the truck . Definitely return area is an opportunity to improve customer service . So when we finally asked the guy what to do he said park on the left , where to the left ? Be more specific. At this point I'm ready to go . We pulled to the front so I can get clear answer what is the process . Line of people , no welcome , no we will be right with you . The guy from return lane chased us down and told us I told you go to the left . Okey ..... then we went around the building because no way we can turn around there are so many people-on the parking lot parked everywhere . Again , I was not sure where is left . What left it's a huge parking lot . He followed us in a big truck . So if it was me and I saw lost customer I would say I'm so sorry I wasn't clear where to go instead of saying I told you where to do , instead please follow me . Instead of chasing us around the building like a lost puppy . What would help if that's where return tailors must go put a sign . If there is a sign make it bigger because I missed it . After we parked the trailer I asked for a receipt , he said you have to go inside .... I'm like what ? You can't give me final receipt here , again equipment would help print out final bill outside especially during busy time ? So I went back again , there were a bunch of pissed off customers because it was busy and only one person working . Again, no hello I'll be right with you . I stood there for god knows how long , finally was my turn , he didn't ask how was everything , he just asked for my last name . Gave me my paperwork , he did say sorry for the wait . He heard me talking with another customer about this cluster experience. And he did not say anything . Again I would try to defuse the situation. I do want to give huge shout out person on a return lane last night when I was picking up the trailer . He went above and beyond. Helped to hook up the trailer. And did point out that I didn't have the trailer adapter , so we checked the front counter and they were out of stock . Another tip it's a safety concern , it's like renting a car without a baby seat knowing there are kids and no proper equipment. You must have that part always in stock . I get it it's Covid and everyone is looking for staff , but customer service will go along way even if we have to wait . Simple hello , how was your day and etc will go along way . Huge location and a lot of opportunities here . Good luck !

I had to wait 20 minutes to get my trailer hooked up. I understand you're short staffed. I would have been happy to do it myself but as I understand you don't allow that for liability reasons. Once someone finally made it over to do the hook up they were very competent and friendly. My only complaint was having to wait so long.

Checking out / pain in ass - hated it! I was told I have. To have a phone when renting a trailer! Just nuts! Had to go back to house to get cell phone - Stupid! 35 minutes to check out - Total disappointment ! Staff was good ! Store front nice - Process to rent a items has to be redone ! Copy of driver lic / copy of car tags / on a iPad - 5-10 min max you are done ! Good luck - overall experience terrible!

The truck wasn't clean, whoever brought it back didn't really dirty it up, but there were food wrappers behind the seat and you could tell that the inside hadn't been wiped down.

The people working at this location did not seem like they wanted to be there. Poor attitudes and not helpful at all. The app said I could skip the line to get my keys but I was told I had to wait in line. Waited for over 20 minutes to get keys that took 30 seconds.

no one was there to check in the moving truck. There was about 6 other people dropping off equipment. I went into sales and they told me to drop the key in the drop box. I got a call from the location saying that they couldn't find the key.

The van was not the cleanest but it didn't matter. The counter service was the best i have ever had. The check in at return was the best i have ever had. The notification on the dashboard did indicate change oil soon and check tire monitoring system. Those should be addressed.

Let customers know when dropping off to take advantage of using the Uhaul App and leave the trailer left of the return area. Take photos of the trailer's internal and external areas. So much quicker and easier. Friendly and helpful staff.

It took an hour just to get the truck. When I dropped off the guy took the keys and did not let me check the truck in I went less miles then I requested but was charged for the miles I put in. When I first got there and asked for help I did not receive any. The truck was on empty when I picked it up.

Make certain the vehicles have clean cargo areas and if boxes and dollies and other equipment are ordered, they're already in the vehicle and ready to go. Otherwise, the online check-in was great and saved me a lot of time. Vehicle return was also friendly and efficient. Thank you, Uhaul, for having the perfect vehicle for my needs and at a great price! I will be back for the next move!

Do not rent equipment that is already on flat. My family life was endanger we had a flat on the trailer and the representation manger stated that the trailer was flat then he laugh it off and said "I was just kidding" no joking matter.

Not enough personnel working at front counter. VERY SLOW SERVICE. One person working, with several people standing around. Storage unit was almost impossible to access. Parking/unloading area crowded with big storage pods. Security gates to storage area were open most of the day. I wish I had read the reviews before I rented storage at this facility.

The line of vehicles in the return lane was absurd (around 10-15 vehicles) and so I put my truck in the return lane, walked to the office and handed the key to the lady behind the counter. She seemed to use her smart phone to scan the key (I don't think anything actually happened) and then I got charged for turning in the truck 2 hours late which I was not late. While I like using uHaul - this was the WORST experience ever. If I still get charged by uHaul I will be going elsewhere for solutions.

Lines are long. Always a wait. Impossible to get them on the phone. KEEP YOUR RECEIPTS, I WAS OVER CHARGED AND LOCKED OUT FLR NON PAYMENT BUT I HAD PAID. Also was over charged for insurance. Watch your bill!

Storage was moved without notice. Had to buy another lock. Had to provide renters insurance. Unit was already rented. No lighting. No overhead space. Expensive. Truck in way. No access, system failure. No guidance to find unit.

The cancellation process was horrendous. You can't cancel online & when you call, no one can help you. I called twice & had to drive to the facility to cancel. The whole process too much of my time. It was frustrating. I felt uhaul did everything they could to make it difficult to cancel. Poor service.

Once we had all our things loaded into the Uhaul and 4 other vehicles full with things as well, we drove from OC to the storage unit, it had a padlock on it. Apparently the clerk forgot to have the lock taken off. She was nice but trying to help to many people at one time. We had to bring the Uhaul to my mom's house until the next day. We paid 5 people to help load and unload for nothing. We tried calling the General Manager but she wouldn't answer, according to her, her phone was uncharged. We only needed the storage unit for 2 weeks but had to pay for a month. The GM did let us have the truck all day today and a free lock.

My unit was blocked by a truck and could not be accessed. Was told by the manager to come back tomorrow because they had no way to move it. Not sure how this is acceptable. Storage Units should not be blocked. My move in had to be delayed and it severely inconvenienced me and my friend that I had helping me.

Anna was awesome. I had experienced multiple issues with my experience (mainly with MovingHelp.com), but also with the U-boxes almost falling apart. Anna took responsibility and made it right to my satisfaction. I'll be using U-haul again due to the excellent service I received from Anna.

I paid for a storage room that I never did use when I rented the storage room I never seen it until after I paid for it, it was not the sides of a storage room that I wanted on the outside of a building knot on the inside of a building, I was very upset because I could not get a refund will never again use U-Haul

The gentlemen named Phillip was who I had the pleasure of being helped by. He was killing it at the counter in the morning. He was helping two customers at a time, as well as directing the staff on where to go and what to do. The lady in the green shirt could have learned a thing or two from him. He was so nice that I even got a storage unit from him after being quoted a cheaper rate else where. Someone give this guy a raise! The check in process was also smooth. I hope to come back to this location for future business as long as Phillip is on shift :)

The only problem we had was the exit gate broke so we had to reverse our trailer out the length of the building which was not an easy task. We managed but it was inconvenient.

They missed me on a payment process that they said they would prorate my remaining days but upon checking out they said the sales lady said she was wrong so I paid a full month but was only in there for3days. I have been a customer for at least 8 months. Very disappointed and would like to speak with someone with authority.

Any time I had an issue the staff &/or Manager would assist me in any way. They were always courteous, understanding, patient and willing to do their best. They understand the concept of "customer service" and work with integrity, honesty and they are trustworthy. It is hard to find a friend with those qualities - much less a business. I had to leave because the location was not convenient any longer.

Service sometime lines were long with only one staff . The staff who assisted me twice was very unprofessional and quite unfriendly. The storage lighting very antiquated not to mention, limited lighting to see inside the black holes you call storages. This was the worst experience I ever had.

My contract got lost initially and turned into a whole mess of phone calls and lack of information. When I was able to make it in person to grab my things out, my unit door was open and things were missing out of it. Two representatives knew about this and upon me describing who helped me get the unit, they both said "ooooh yeah...that guy got fired" and acted like this has happened before. They didn't offer any help as far as reporting anything.
