The only complaint I had was the smell in the van. It smelled terrible we had to buy airfresheners to make it bearable. Someone either tried to cover up smoke smell or someone threw up in it don’t know but something should be done and we told the person when checked in that it was horrid it made you nauseous.

Old Windows 95/98 computers, mobile device for check in/out broken. Seemed to be poor coordination between staff members. One person was resizing computer screen because they didn't know how to scroll to bottom of page.

I have rented from this location a number of times and have always had good experiences... until today. I decided to rent a trailer so I walked in at 2:45 and got in line behind the two people that were being helped at the counter. After the computer and debit card terminal locked up 3 times, we were finally given our rental agreement at 4:05. In that hour that I waited 3 out of the 4 customers that were helped had issues with their reservations being wrong or their billing being incorrect. With all that being said, the trailer worked well and Joseph was quick in getting me hooked up and then checked back in and was very professional and apologized for the hour plus wait we had getting the rental agreement done. This was also the second time in a month that I’ve rented from Uhaul and the debit card terminal has locked up the computer.

The locations and personal, the vehicle were fine. Your phone system needs work, forty minutes of being shifted from one section to another and being in voice mail listening to the same repeated messages about Uhaul is not good customer service. I ended up hanging up. The day before rental pickup I was told I'd be contacted about pick up time and location. By 4:45 on a Sunday, nothing. I ended up calling you. These calls should be made before noon.

The location personnel, were friendly, besides being pushed to buy a new lock. The location is great for anyone that can afford or lives closer to that location. Only deal I do not like, is how far I have to drive. I was informed over the phone for a drop off location, there were not any storage units located closer to were I am located, and yet, I saw one right in the town I live.

The staff will not answer the phone, I was on hold for 45 minutes before a representative from a different location would set up the rental. The checkout process took forever, the staff member was very unclear on what to do, never offered a receipt, and he was not clear on what all charges were.. never use you people again!!!!!

The truck had 160K miles on it and it served our purpose for local transportation, but I would not have wanted to use that particular truck on a long trip. We put 14 miles on it, but during those few miles I noticed a bit of an occasional bounce in the front end and I believe the brakes are a little soft. Other than that, everything was good.

Fix the computer so you don’t have to wait until exactly 9;00 to start transactions. Have a better system for recording damaged trailers, so a customer doesn’t have to hook up to 3 of them to find out they aren’t good.

The cargo van truly was in NEED of a wheel alignment as the drive was NOT smooth at all and was extremely scary at times. The customer service was excellent.

Don't always assume the customer's vehicle is the reason your trailer lights don't work. It wasted a lot of time for us to grab another vehicle and when it got there you realized there was a bad wire splice.

Our rental was set to begin at 8 AM. We arrived at 7:45 and it was 830 before we pulled out of the parking lot. We were originally told that there was not a reservation and that we did not have a truck for the day, but upon showing the associate our confirmation email, the story change. We were told that we had to have the truck back by noon despite the fact that We had been waiting over 30 minutes to get checked in and had paid for the full four hours. When we returned the truck, my husband filled the gas tank but was told at check-in that it “wasn’t at the original pink line“ and was charged an additional fuel charge. I will not be using this location again.

just a note i have been renting items from this location for several years, and i wanted to comment on the office set up, as you walk in the door, you are greeted by boxes, and lots of them, there is not a path to the desk for customers. i would suggest opening up the area, more welcoming and also from a safety perspective, all your high dollar items are on the wall behind the boxes, someone can steal items and the desk staff would never know, just my 2 cents

It's advertised at $19.95 PER DAY! I had mine maybe an hour over what I estimated and Uhaul is trying to collect for another day. Submitted an email regarding this and NEVER got a response. Instead Uhaul continues to try and run my debit card for unpaid services. Luckily I use a prepaid card and can stop them from unauthorized transactions. If Uhaul is going to charge another day if you're late bringing the truck back, it should be told upfront. I've never ever had an issue with Uhaul until this. Will definately use someone else if I need moving services again. Shady transactions.

The fuel tank wasn’t even close to where it was suppose to have been. The passenger window kept falling down. Actually look at the vehicle before assuming the computer is right to prevent people from spending unnecessary money to put a truck back at a gas level that is inaccurate and then have to worry about a window falling and breaking because the regulator is clearly broken

It’s hard to begin to try and find a way to improve customer interactions. There is not one helpful employee here. It actually feels like customers are an inconvenience to the employees daily work schedule. Not once have I seen any “Customer service”. After further investigation I have found this is a known problem! I know exactly how to make this business better. Self automate as much of this business as possible until not one employee that hasn’t been trained in customer service is talking to customers face to face.

Despite my incredibly poor truck reliability - described above - and the fact that I had to leave the truck running in their receipt yard - the staff showed absolutely no interest in my problems or the difficulty. When I asked how to get a refund they refused to take any action saying that they couldn't because they did not initiate the rental contract. Best they could suggest was to call the 800 number.

I was told Monday before my visit there (6 days notice) that it would not be necessary to reserve the availability of the truck that we needed. When we got here on Sunday, that turned out not to be true. We needed the larger truck and we had to settle for a van because the location said all the trucks were gone.. We had multiple furniture pieces that had to be gotten before 5 PM that day. If we had had the larger truck, we would have been able to finish the task within the allowed time but due to misinformation by Monday's crew we did not have access to the size truck we needed and lost the ability to get the bunk bed, dresser, and sofa we needed to get. The young man that was there was very apologetic, professional and courteous and was able to appease our ruffled feelings. For that I am grateful, it showed true customer service.

The truck wouldn’t go above 40 miles an hour due to shaking so bad, steering wheel was almost straight up and down to go straight, and dog legged into the other lane. I called the location back 7 times yesterday did not answer called corporate they tried to call and tried to call the manager. I was forced to get another truck since this one was beyond unsafe to drive. I have rented from you haul around 10 times over the last 7 years and will not be doing business with you all again and will not recommend you to any of my friends or coworkers.

The internet was down due to a pole being replaced. The only thing that made this experience was seeing the dedication Jacob and a young african american gentleman (did not get his name) who went home to get their laptops to use on wifi to handle the reservations. There was another young man there that should have been sent home - he had a horrable attitude and did nothing to help.

The Silverado Pickup I rented was the best truck I have ever driven. Amazing vehicle. Your car trailers could be a touch longer but only issue I really had was it waged like a dogs tail unless I stayed on top of it for the long trip which was a bit tiring. Also one of the front tire webs slipped off twice during haul and a re design would help

The 26' truck I was given for this local rental is worn out and should be replaced. Tires were out of balance and front suspension parts are worn causing the truck to drift (walk) in the travel lanes. Another term those of us that are automotive mechanics call this is "walking". This truck cost me as much for fuel as the rental and I traveled about 72 miles. This is my 2nd rental from the Mount Juliet location and this was the worst truck of the two I rented.

We returned it 12 min before closing yet were still charged an add'l day rate. Extremely disappointed in this.

Ii was uncomfortable with simply having images of the condition of the trailer sent to me electronically ( email or text message). I requested the attendant inspect the trailer with me BEFORE i left the dealership, noting any damage, and I also took images myself. The attendant was very professional and courteous .

When I arrived to pick up the truck it was raining really hard. I looked in the truck and it had been leaking. When I brought it to the attention of the representative he said it was from mopping the truck. I disagreed and requested another truck because the weather forecast called for heavy rain all weekend. I was told they did not have another 26ft. I was told I could drive to Herndersoneville location to get another 26 ft truck. I told them I did not have time to go all the way there and plus I should not have to pay for the additional mileage and was told that there would be a discount. The representative was very rude and acted like it was not his issue. I was offered a smaller truck. I asked about a discount and was told I would get a discount at the end of the rental. I took the smaller truck. I had to make more trips due to the smaller truck which meant more miles. When I retured the truck I was told the cost and I disagreed stating there should be a discount and Jacob told me “I did not tell you there would be a discount”. He also stated that there was nothing wrong with the bigger truck and that they rented it two times over the weekend. He kept saying he could not give a discount. I suggested he call whoever he needed to and he said his manger would not give a discount. I told him I was not leaving until he called whoever he needed to to verify and provide the discount. He stormed to the back and came back a few minutes later saying he could make the total $100 which was about a $28 discount. I do not think that was enough since the issue was with faulty equip. Long story short, what you could do for the next customer is make sure your representatives are not rude and understand that they are the face of your company and should treat the customer with respect as we, the customers, are paying money for services and we have choices. As for me, I will be exercising my choice and never renting from U-Haul again and I will never be recommending U-Haul to anyone.
