Only concern was the truck only had a half a tank of gas as we picked it up. It was snowing and we had a schedule so the half a tank required a stop for gas. Otherwise it was a good experience
Ronald AndroParking was mixed up. It was just after we had Snow, but there were U-Haul vehicles every where. This could be improved on.

John StanberryWork with customers when something unfortunate happens. As I went to refill tank the needle wasn't moving the way it should have to show for the amount I had put in. So I added more gasoline and the needle moved slightly so as I stared to drive it still hadn't changed. It wasn't until I made a stop by my house before returning vehicle that I noticed the needle had finally moved. Mind you this was after I had shut it off and restarted it at my house. But instead of it being at the halfway point it had went all the way to the 3/4 mark. I was met with resistance as to whether this was true by management. Yet I was supposed to be getting a call from someone from Corporate as I told manager, I'm still waiting because soon as I hung up I made a call to Uhaul only to find out what I said wasn't stated it was stated as resolved. 樂

Scott RichardsonI specificially told the representative , I was driving from Buffalo new york to Cleveland Ohio. When I arrived at the U-Haul Store to pick up my truck it had a third of Gas in the tank. I seen this by no means can I drive to Cleveland Ohio . I had to make a decision and I drove the U-Haul truck and put gas in the tank. I want U-Haul to reimemburse me for putting gas before heading to Cleveland. Thank you for your timely response.

Cedric BurrussNeed to hire happier people. Person handling the transaction had no Customer Service skills or common courtesy. I'm sure they deal with many miserable and/or shady customers, but they shouldn't treat people with a better demeanor. He just seemed like he didn't want to be there. I stated that I completed the on-line paperwork. Also, not sure why he needed a picture of my license with (what appeared to be) his personal phone. Asking questions was futile due to his curt responses., He seemed put-off with all basic interaction.

David MasseyThe storage unit was fine. My access code didn't work so the employee used his. I asked if I would get access and he said if it's not working the next time I come he'd give me a new one. He gave me instructions on how to access the unit and how to move the furniture up. I told him that I had a free lock and he said ok it's there. When the movers came to meet me I forgot what the employee said about how to retrieve the furniture once we were up on the third floor. One of the movers went to get clarity and he was rude stating "I already told her". Yes, he had told me however it was cold, and raining plus my first time being there, and I wanted to make sure I had the details right before going up to the third floor as there wasn't an elevator for us. We get up to the third floor and figure out how to get the furniture, they move it into the unit and there isn't a lock in there. So I had to go back down to the store and then back up to the third level. All he had to do was give it to me when I first mentioned it in the store at the beginning of our encounter. Overall, my experience was okay. It would've been great had he not been preoccupied with his phone and rude with each conversation.

His business ethics and reception is less than par. I definitely would not refer anyone to this place . Further I was sent a receipt for a reversal of the payment and I still haven't gotten it !

I took a 10' truck, drove it 7 miles, and returned it. They charged me for 2 gallons of gas. 7 miles / 2 gallons == 3,5 miles per gallon on a 10' truck. Mathematical incompetence or fraud? Don't care, won't be back.

Kimberly Cummings | Expérience généraleWhen I reserved my U-Haul truck and storage unit online I was given an offer of first month free for the storage unit when I got to the U-Haul office I was told that that offer couldn't be honored online also stated there was 24 hour access to the storage unit when I got to the U-Haul office I was informed that that also was not true. That defeats the purpose of me reserving a storage unit I will be moving my belongings as soon as possible. The website and office rules and offers do not match and that is false advertisement.

The unit felt as though it would fall in on itself were I to store any of my things in there. The staff was friendly and helpful-right up to the point the gentleman at the front asked me if I had a boyfriend after giving me a once-over. Highly unprofessional. Will not return.

I just got a new apartment now I don't have my belongings.me and my kids are on bare house over this. can't seem to get manager on the phone or to return my calls.

Damien was quick to check my unit and Tajh helped me with my final paperwork. This location is always very busy on the weekends and the people working and usually hustling even when short staffed like they were on Sunday. It looked like there was one person working and he was doing everything but was still extremely helpful when I needed help with the elevator.

Had problems with the elevator they didn't seem to know what was going on I had asked him three times for assistant With the elevator then I told him that the truck was to be dropped off on ferry Street, I was going to show him the text that I received from U-Haul he said he didn't need to see it I told him to truck was supposed to return the 28th he still took the mileage and the gas usage.

It appeared that the employee didn't know how to do a refund. He rush other customers out and seems to be on an overall bad mood.

Staff is not friendly at all. I regularly using Uhaul service in Canada, and this is first time I used in US. And it will be the LAST. Poor service and constant calls harassing me about a storage I was unaware I even had. Worst storage place ever do not even call these guys you will wind up with an outrageous bill you never knew you had.

Adrian Riccelli | Expérience généraleLost about $38 in rent due to my moving date being moved up 3 weeks. I couldn't get refunded for weeks I would not be using it. My storage unit was a 4x4x4 upper unit and the ladder was always scattered and was a pain to move and load in. The unit itself is also not worth $50 a month. I was able to find a much bigger unit, almost triple the space, with a differn't company for only $86 here in buffalo. A unit of that size was going to cost me about $140/month at Uhaul. Staff was helpful, but your units are very overpriced for what you are getting.
Kyle Ferchen | Expérience généraleThe manager, Tajh King was extremely rude to me not only during my most recent visit to the Main St. location, but during my initial visit as well. He is extremely condescending and abrasive in his tone. He blatanly lied to me and told me that he didn't have any storage units available. I went to another location and was informed that there were in fact other units available at the Main St location. Tajh also took it as far as to completely skip helping me and attempt to help another customer when I was obviously next in line. When I spoke up about Tajh deciding to skip me he claimed he didn't see me, which made absolutely no sense considering that I was standing right in front of him. I plan to speak with Todd S and write a letter to your corporate headquarters in the very near future regarding my experience. Tajh has absolutely no business managing a customer service based environment. I would be surprised if this complaint is the first of it's nature the company has received regarding Tajh.
