I was overcharged for mileage. I used the truck to go once to the dump. Return distance for the trip is approximately 40 km. I was charged for 105 km which is absolutely impossible! Unfortunately the vehicle display indicated an oil change was overdue, so the mileage indicator wasn't displayed so I couldn't verify. Don't trust this operator!Brenda F.

MY ORIGINAL RESERVATION WAS SUPPOSED TO BE AT THE IN AND OUT CONVENIENCE STORE ON NESS AND MY TRUCK WASNT THERE BECAUSE THE PREVIOUS USER DIDNT RETURN IT FOR THE THIRD DAY IN A ROW. Said there was a full tank when there wasn't upon picking the van up. 25 $bucks on the re-fuel to go to St. James and back. Then you charged me an additional 10 $claiming I did not fuel the van up which I did. Then you said you'd refund me the 10 $on the re-fuel and send me a confirmation of this. Almost 1 week later and no confirmation. Now I have to chase you for 10 $out of principal which doesnt even cover the extra gas I put in your van. I will never use this location again. I will tell everyone to avoid this place as you clearly don't give a shit.Matthew B.

They were able to meet my moving requirements. When they thought they didn't have a rental for me they called other locations. The experience at return was not great. The cost of gas was disputed because they said I had more gas in the truck than I really had. If it were not for me taking a photo of the dash readings - I would have been over-charged. The attendant did adjust the bill but only because I took it upon myself to find the error. This is the 2nd 16ft trailer that a friend and I have rented. Both trailers were missing a D-hook tie downs and what was there for D-hooks is not very strong. We had to remove and relocate the D-hook in the trailer to properly haul what we were transporting. I did let the guy know when we dropped it off and I really think that as far as it went. Trailer was filthy dirty and if there was damage on it before we picked it up or dropped it off nobody would know. This location helped me out big time as the Inkster location booked an open trailer for me and I requested an enclosed 16 foot. Location was helpful and staff was good.Garry R.

Moving is a stressful circumstance at the best of times. Being tasked to move yourself within a one day window and in the midst of this COVID crisis had me dreading every step as the one that would derail my plans. Fortunately my day kicked off with Ms. Becky, GM of the McPhillips location. I don't know how many rentals she handles in a day or in a month or in a year... but she made me feel as though I was her first and only customer. Too often we allow the poor attitudes of others to undermine our own reality, but I experienced the exact opposite on this occasion. Becky's attitude changed my day and everything went better than expected as a result. I rented a truck for a reasonable rate. But I got confidence and peace-of-mind thrown in for free, and that was not at all expected. Thanks U-Haul. And thank-you Ms. Becky.Robert B.

I was very grateful to find a storage unit so close to home, it was one of the last one's left. The manager was excellent to deal with, she went above and beyond to meet needs and staff were friendly. The only thing that I was concerned with was when I moved out the lights in the storage facility were out, and it was hard to see in my storage locker, also when I went in to sign papers for my move out the facility was left unattended and staff were all outside with customers waiting inside for service. I don't think the store should have been left unattended as someone could have stolen something and customers were wondering where staff were, it was very unprofessional on their part. It took me 2 days to get storage and it was not ready and not clean. I waisted so much time on Friday and Tarik said everything OK on Friday and he didn't rent it to me, I came on Saturday and Dave have no info in the computer. The space was not secure nor safe. Regularly there were people gathered (blocking) the halls chopping bikes, obviously stolen. Did not feel safe entering to access my unit. If I could rate this as 0 stars I definitely would. We put our sectional up for sale as the storage fees are ridiculous. The buyer could not pick up the sectional up until 4 days into a new month I told there was no refund for the remaining days of the month that we weren't using the unit. Therefore, they can rent out that unit and make almost double on it in 1 month. There was no light in that unit plus the ceiling looked like it was starting to fall in guess that's why there no light in it. I will never rent a storage unit from uhaul again and I will also not refer anyone to use uhaul. The lot was a little crowded with u-haul vehicles, as I tried to pull away with my truck and trailer after emptying my locker, I had to get out and physically move a small u-haul utility trailer from blocking my exit. The outside door for access to the storage hallway was damaged and could not gain access. The U-haul representative had to go around and open the door from the inside. I paid for 1 unit then they realized it had a lock on it so received a refund and then they gave me a unit at the Notre Dame facility. So when we get there no lock as was stood to me would be. Took a walk around with my phone in hand checking other units as was told by associate to do. Then he told me I'd have to.go.back to store to get a lock.
