I had a rental (26 ft truck) the week before and after I drove 50 miles and had toy two workersalan W.
Employee's we're not professional, didn't smile or make very much eye contact. The person that checked me in took at least 2 personal calls and a FaceTime call. It took at least 30 minutes for someone to check me out when I returned the vehicle. Overall poor experience at this location.Brian B.

The representative did not walk outside for the vehicle inspection. Told me the truck was parked on the side and to just find it. The truck was not parked on the side, after looking at all the trucks it was in fact in the front of the store. I was not able to take a picture of the crack in the wind shield via the link I was sent for the initial inspection of the truck. After leaving, about 20 minutes later, I was called to come and return the truck because â€œit wasn't supposed to go out and I needed to get another one.â€ After telling them that I was almost at my designation, they said â€œI mean I guess just keep driving it then.â€ No elaborating on why the truck wasn't supposed to be out. After bringing the truck back, 2,5 hours later and only going around 45 total miles, I was charged $328 for my trip, including the cracked windshield that was already there. I tried talking to the manager and he stated that the truck initially came from another location and they would call and see if that location had a note about the cracked windshield, of course they did not since it had been in their possession for a week. The current location did not have a note of this either (shocker). Since I was not able to take a picture during the check in, which no one assisted me with, I was charged for the windshield crack when my trip should've costed less than $100, it cost me $328. This is absolutely ridiculous, insane and so poorly organized. I will never be using Uhaul again.Haley M.

I reserved a VAN in Germantown. But I arrived and I was informed to pick up in Memphis where was 10 miles away. I lost 1 hour to pick up the van which made my movers wait for 1 hour. I also drove more than 20 miles with more cost of gasline. I was severely disappointed with UHaul services!Xue Z.
The attendant working on the morning of Friday, June 3, 2022, was extremely slow and unwelcoming. When I returned the van, he was moving so slowly, a LARGE group of customers formed. He never made an attempt to move quickly or addressed the customers to thank them for being patient. Another employee that was working outside, cleaning the returned vehicles, came inside and took care of my vehicle return. He was extremely professional and should be rewarded in some type of way. The overall experience was not great. We originally rented in Bartlett. Order was changed to Southern Ave. Arrived and the office door was unlocked. We waited for a good 30 minutes while on hold with Uhaul to find out what we needed to do since no one was in office. The truck was not returned but when the clerk at the Southern Ave location she offered no advice assistance....it was the local transportation department that helped us locate a truck and switch the reservation.Dorothy D.

Check the fuel level before informing others on how much is in the vehicle. I feel as if the uhaul company goal is to rip people off and het extra money out of tjem off of gas. If the fuel was checked then why is it nog correct on the observation sheet.Antavious B.
The crew and the manager is extremely rude and unprofessional. They literally gave me a damage box truck and told me to deal with it get a smaller truck. I book this weeks in advance. I have a CDL and tickets even if dismissed can effect my career. I also got a tuck that was literally On E and was marked as 1/8 and got charged for it when I returned it. Honestly they are glad ima professional driver because the side panel hangs in the other lane and is extremely unsafe. I have never seen a company purposely put someone safety at risk and overcharged them. I got charge for things I didn't receive and actively have a claim on my credit card to get my money back.Jasmine L.

This uhaul location was supposed to be open at 7:00 AM. Imagine our surprise when we got there at 8:20 and there many people waiting for their trucks. It took another hour to be processed and drove away in a truck. We had moving help hired for some of the time we were waiting in line. Emergencies happen but no explanation was given. I booked a storage online, 10x20. I got to the location and checked in. Went to find my storage unit before I left, and there was someone already moving into the same unit I had just received. Went back inside and waited, gave me another unit number. I went to check that storage unit and it was a 10x5. I go back inside wait in line once again just for them to tell me they don't have any of the large storage units available. So I've had a unique experience at this location, I rented a truck and a unit. I left the keys in the truck and went home after I returned the truck, Alex i believe his name is, was very helpful and amazing customer service. Unfortunately, when I returned to locate the keys, the GM and another associate told me they looked into the truck and no keys were located, I was told that there was nothing they could do to help me. I proceeded to look into the truck and saw the keys where I left them. was mislead by U-haul employee 2 years ago "Carol' located at 3561 S Mendenhall Road, Memphis, TN customer appliances was (supposedly) be in a climate weather storage by, customer was relocating to another state. Family member went last month to move appliances out )double wide refrigerator ) was totally destroyed dued to heat. A 3 year old fridge practically still new was stained and molded bad!! I was held up from my move for almost an hour while the person serving me seemed to not know what she was doing, took another customer in the middle of my rental, without asking me, then proceeded to take her time with him, including debating a rate increase. On I was finally sent to the unit, it was not as explained on the phone, there was no help in locating the unit, in fact I was given the wrong information, My driver was costing me extra money because of the insanely long delay. After realizing that the building I was sent to did not even house the unit I had rented, I gave up, went back to the office and cancelled the entire rental. By far the worst rental experience ever! I manage a Storage Facility, this was a disgraceful exhibition of Storage Rental. It ended up costing me almost $100 in additional expenses and I ran out of daylight.
