Overall, this was a terrible experience. First, I left a voicemail indicating that I would be late picking up the truck. The reservation was cancelled anyway. When I asked the representative if received my voicemail, she only said that she just got there. I mentioned that someone should probably check for messages, and I received no reply or comment. Second, the truck I was provided with appeared to be in serious need of alignment. Once on the highway, it seemed to bounce around. I believed it was unsafe on the highway, and that my items would not be safe inside, so I returned it. Although I was provided with a different truck, I received no apology for the inconvenience from the same customer service representative. Third, upon arrival at the moving site, I discovered that the dolly was dirty, badly scratched, and one weld was broken. After wasting a bottle of Lysol cleaning it, I determined it was still not useful for my nice items. I was too far away to return it, and had already begun loading the truck, so I was forced to move all items by hand. This made a hard day of moving even harder. I reported this to the same representative. Although she said she removed the dolly charge, and the contract was extended because it would take me much longer, I again received no apology for the inconvenience. The recorded phone call will verify this. Fourth, I called again to report that there was yard waste on the ramp and under the dolly, and that I had to sweep it myself. I did receive an apology from a representative named Hector after a long pause. Fifth, the cab smelled terrible, and the drop site after hours smelled like a garbage dump. It was nauseating to stand there trying to access an online account late at night and take pictures in order to return the truck. Sixth, the verbal agreement to remove the dolly charge was not reflected in the cumbersome online return process while I was standing in a place that smelled awful. I will not use U-haul again, and will recommend that others avoid U-haul unless I am satisfied that this will not happen to others. Thank you for your time.

I was not able to rent the truck I wanted and the truck I rented was smaller then I needed plus I only got to rent the smaller truck it for 6 hours. I still had to pay full rate even though I had to return the truck early.

This location is VERY understaffed. This is the 2nd time i have been in to rent a trailer in the last month and both times I had to wait a ridiculous amount of time. Both times i used online checkin to cut the time down. This time i had to wait in line for 40 minutes. Only 2 people in front of me. One guy was there on his own as the other person was at lunch. It was FRiday afternoon around 4pm. Why would there ever be just one person there? I will not be using Uhaul again. So annoyed and dissapointed. I will say that the man that helped us though totally overwhelmed stayed calm and polite throughout. When i left the store he had about 6 people in line. They are probably still waiting.

They were suppose to credit miles back to me but did not......Trevon called me and asked to bring some previous customers key which got left on the Uhaul key chain and when I rented the vehicle it was on there so I went out of my way to bring it back and Trevon said he would credit me back Miles for doing that for him.........let me know what you're going to do about this please.

I was contacted by the home office on the way to Spokane and was PROMISED that they would meet the rate of storage I had set up at another place. That reservation was made at least a week before I arrived in Spokane. When I got here and we looked it up at the ORIGINAL place I was to return the truck and store my stuff, they did indeed have the reservation but had forgotten to look at their own computer and so they didn't have a space for me. I was sent down the road to this store and she was EXTREMELY helpful but they too did not have the size storage unit I was promised. She did her best to find something for me and when she sent me to the U-Haul she had found, they too had not updated their own computer reservations and so I was put in a larger unit. HOWEVER, I am on disability and have a very limited income and the unit I was given was more than twice what I was promised. It was the weekend and I was left with no choice. I tried to explain and I tried to find a new storage unit but they were NOT VERY HELPFUL at all. I tried over and over to get to upper management and was blocked EVERY TIME. At this time, due to my disability, I am unable to move it all to a smaller unit and so I am having to pay more than twice what I was promised. They say that the phone calls are all recorded and they will send them to you if you want but that didn't work out either. I use to work for U-Haul years ago as an asst. manager and we NEVER treated customers this way. YOU ALL AT U-HAUL OUGHT TO BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELVES!

I waited 40 minutes in line to get an RSVP. Not the end of the world. But the associate who served me had an attitude that made me want to slap him. He was yawning in mid sentence, would not make eye contact, gave commands like “meet me out front” as he was walking away. Very dismissive and I kept wondering what his problem was. Other staff seemed to be cordial and friendly. This guy just didn’t want to be there, and I wish he wasn’t.

I required a trailer to acquire a new riding lawn mower. The first trailer was to small. I immediately went back for a larger size and one was available. The parking lot is not conducive to long trailers. Not easy to maneuver.

I'll give it to your crew they work together and their problem solvers. My experience started out uncomfortable with the computers having a glitch. Upon returning it was treated excellent. The trailer was cleaned but smelled heavy of a grease or something. Door would not close 3/4 of the way into our trip. That might be why someone used so much grease on it. Luckily we managed to finish and drove trailer back with the door open.

I returned the truck after hours. They checked it in at 1 ish pm. This resulted in a extra days rent on the truck and dolly. Plus $14 more insurance. I went in they gave me a refund of the extra charges. Of course it takes 2 days to go back on my credit card. Not happy as moving sucks enough.

I came in to turn in a trailer 30 minutes before the shop closed. I didn't know where to drop it, so I backed it into the spot it came from and went inside to ask. I was met by an employee who mopped the floor thirty minutes early yelled across the store the second I walked in the store "stop can't you see the floor is wet." I asked where he wanted the trailer, he said "right there." Unhooked and left it there. Then I was charged a late fee. Glad there are several other places to rent from in the area.

Change the policy on trucks only being able to be out for 24hrs to a person that rents them! Saying that the policy is there so that you can serve more customers is the most ridiculous policy I've ever heard of! To make a person that needs it for longer than 24hrs have to return it so that maybe another customer can rent it is stupid! I will never ever be renting from uhaul unless this policy is changed!

I'm disabled. When the employee hooked up my lights we discovered that they didn't work. The employee looked at me and said "you fix it" and walked away. He wasn't interested in determining whether it was an equipment issue or my electrical. I will not use this location ever again.

I had ordered and paid for boxes online prior to our move; however they did not have a record of the purchase and all I had was the U-Haul debit showing on my statement. They gave us some used boxes as they did not have any of the boxes I ordered and I think they really tried to accommodate us.

Staff was great. Truckstop bathroom flavored oderizers were annoying. Theres no elevator at N.Division storage. That was inconvenient. Those are my critisisms. Storage arrangement worked well.

The person who checked us out needed more training re completing the paperwork. Due to his inattention, I was almost overcharged by $33 for the rental. At our Pendelton destination, no Uhaul stores would accept the trailer, so we had to tow it an additional 40 miles to College Place , WA. Very unsatisfactory service!!!

Truck was clean but rear tires had alot of weather cracking and low tread, truck rode unbelievably rough worse then any other I've used. Driver side mirror was so loose it would not hold it's position and I had to constantly adjust it to be able to use it while I was driving like every 15 seconds or so gave up and only moved it when having to change lanes. Honestly for $175 rental i would of liked to see more. Also it's time to update your fleet to diesels spending $65 in fuel to go 121 miles is crazy. Spending $.53 cents a mile for fuel and .89 cents per mile rental is crazy that's a cost of $1.42 a mile...

Trailer # RV 4102 D The power was out at the pickup location and it was raining when I arrived to pick up the enclosed trailer. So it was nice they were able to take care of things for me on phones and I was able to make my pickup. But I’m not sure if there would normally be some paperwork and maybe better communication and instructions about condition, drop off, etc. When I got to my location and opened the trailer, it was all wet inside. It looked like the roof was leaking a little in a few spots and also looked like there may be a gap in the front bottom seam of the trailer. So basically I couldn’t use the trailer for the first 24 hours while the weather was bad and it was raining. I tried calling about it but it was after hours and I kept just getting lost in the phone transfer system. Luckily the weather cleared up and I was able to use the trailer for the better part of three days. Seems like the trailers, trucks, etc should be sprayed with a water hose as part of a PM to check for leaks?? Thanks

The cab of the truck was filthy. The windshield was dirty on the inside and out and was difficult to see out of. The dash was covered in dust and dirt as well as pretty much everything else in the cab.

Your location was excellent. Your corporate reservation call in was horrible. The attendant was rude and had no idea what I was asking. I told her I was looking to see if the location I went to had a trailer available before I went. She could not help nor understand and even asked me if I needed a rental storage even after I told her I was renting a trailer as I have done many times from uhaul for hauling yard products.

I had a resv for more than 1 month for 24 hour rental, when I arrived at 4 pm was informed due to high volume I could only have the truck for 6 hours. The movers were arriving at 8 am next day.. so I had to return at 7 am to pick up truck, they did extend time the next day to more than 6 hours. But very poor customer service, would not use them again!

We rented a truck for 24 hours to be picked up at 3:00. Someone called that day and said we couldn't pick it up until 4:30. When we got to the UHaul location, we were told that they don't rent trucks 24 hours in town and that we need to have the truck back by 10:00 a.m. Our rep not very helpful and made me never want to have to rent a UHaul again for the rest of my life! This was probably the 15th time I have rented a UHaul and probably the last!

While on the freeway I realized the truck didn’t feel as if it was driving the way it should. It kept drifting the truck into a different lane and jerking back and forth. I could barely do 50 MPH on the freeway. I pulled over to call the store where I picked up the truck and transport in Spokane to explain to them my concerns and to find out if what I was experiencing was normal and they said yes. It’s a big truck and windy and that I should be just fine. I didn’t feel as if this feeling was normal. When I got to the drop off location in lynnwood come to find out the store in Spokane only had my left tire strapped down not the right and me breaking lights were not hooked up. I drove 5 hours and the eat the Spokane store hooked everything up was not safe. This endangered so many people on the road including myself. The Spokane office did not seem to care at all about my concerns. The lynnwood office was very nice and told me how the Spokane office had my auto transport hooked up to the truck incredibly wrong and how unsafe it was.

Said I was over by 6 miles, but you wanted me to drive from my Deer Park location 18 miles to this return location. I should have charged you for my time. Dont know if I would use your services again. As I stated above, very unprofessional. A second customer came in to return his trailer and gave him the run around and he left very upset. You need to change how you do business.

While I would recommend this location, I'm not sure that I would be very quick to recommend U-Haul. I have made reservations closer to me - confirmed online thru express check in - only to be contacted the morning of the reservation, to say I had to travel to another location to pick up the trailer. I was also informed that a trailer I was going to rent was not available at the desired location - when I drove by the location, I saw 3 trailers that were what I reserved. For some reason, U-Haul wanted me to drive an extra 120 miles for pick up.....I chose the original location I made the reservation at. Seems that U-Haul has a bait-n-switch type behavior.
