I've rented equipment from this location multiple times without issue. On my latest rental, the pickup was quick and painless. However, when I went to drop off the equipment the next day (a trailer) I waited over 45 minutes (4 people ahead of me) in line before just giving up and leaving (still 2 people ahead of me). I waited a couple hours and called to tell them I dropped the equipment off. I'll likely use this location again due to convenience but not if it's anything like this.

When I picked up the truck, I was told to pay a $100 key deposit that I would get back when I returned the truck in Nashua. However, when I returned the truck, I was informed that I somehow went over a mileage limit that I was never even told about and then charged $50, so I only got half of my money back. When I asked for an explanation, I received “I don't know...?” WHAT IS GOING ON????

I wasnt It looking for a refund or money back , I simply got a flat tire . Couldn't get the trailer to your location and explained my son had to leave work to come get it , so it would be there on time . He returned it to Thompson rd on accident, the guy on Taft said I would be charged for dropping off at wrong location . Which is fine . But he was rude ! I never asked for money or a refund ? Not to mention the plate was 2 years expired , it's just sad that there's no leniency when tires go flat etc .... the Thompson location is literally 10 mins away from Taft ? Unbelievable!

I have rented from you many times but the truck I was given was so dirty. I spent the first 30 minute of the rental disinfecting and cleaning the cab. The windshield was so during I struggled driving after the sun went down. I usually rent vans and needed a truck this time by was very disappointed with the cleanliness of the truck. It was a brief wait, equipment in good condition, I was able to drop off the trailer after hours and I got their receipt next day at 2PM. Great experience, but very limited availability, I had to rent in advanced and still they didn't have what I was looking for available.

One of the employees that checked in my rental truck didn't check his information before entering it into the system, so I was overcharged $400 for a 2 hours trip. This then turned into ALMOST $800 dollars because of technical issues with UHaul using holds on a credit card. Be very, very careful when using this location.

I rented a van for 4 hours. I waited in line for an hour and ten minutes. The guy told me I need to return the truck. In two hours and fifty minutes. They also did not have the van I reserved, so they gave me a pickup truck full of snow in the back. All the stuff I had to move got wet.

There were very little instructions given not even have you driven a u haul before? Had trouble with the tow/haul setting which was never explained to us. We tried to call for immediately assistance with that but no one quickly answered we were put on hold an wound up having to turn and go back just to ask. We had not driven a truck with such a setting before and made it feel like something was wrong!

i worked with the Acton MA location. They sent me the link to return after hours to my cell phone.They told me where to park when I came back. There was a cheat sheet about how much gas to fill to bring it up by the â…› of the speedometer. This was all missing at this location. the return process is still very challenging and not streamlined, but still better than nothing.

The paperwork indicated the truck had 9881 miles and the fuel gauge was at 7/8. As I was driving back to my house (about 3 miles away), I noticed the fuel tank was a tick below 3/4, it wasn't 7/8. I also noticed the mileage was 9906, not 9881. I should have checked this before I left Uhaul, but given that I didn't, when I got home I took a picture of the dashboard. I then called Uhaul, and after waiting on the phone for 15 minutes, someone finally responded. I told them what happened and they said they would send me an email with a link. That link would take me to a website where I could update the faulty information, with the correct information. I told the customer service rep, there there was no link in the email. They said they would therefore apply the correct info themselves. When I brought the pickup back to Uhaul, I explained what happened and told the guy at the desk that the customer service rep I had spoken to, updated the website with the correct mileage and fuel tank reading. The guy at the desk said he didn't see any updates anywhere on the website. So apparently I wasted my time calling the customer service rep. The guy at the desk then told me the only outlet for me was to show him the picture I took of the dashboard. Thank god I took that picture. So the bottom line is there was a lot of incompetency with Uhaul. First of all, the guys at the service desk should go to the truck themselves and verify the mileage a fuel tank amount and then fill in (or update) the contract form accordingly. Instead they rely on the customer to do that. That being the case, I should have verified it before I left, but given that I didn't and given that I contacted customer service when I got home should have rectified the problem. Instead, none of the info I passed onto the customer service rep, got into your system and so the guy at the desk, when I returned the truck, could not verify what info I passed to the customer service rep and left me with only the photo of the dashboard of proof of what I said. The guy at the desk accepted the photo, as the timestamp was 15 minutes after I left Uhaul so it was obvious the picture was legit and he did the right thing and I was not charged for the wrong mileage etc.. Very sloppy service said there was no info showing

Worker needs to fully inform their customers all the details when it comes to rental time, drop off location choices, prices and any type of extra charges. They also need to be aware of how they talk to customers because my experience was disgustingly rude. With language and tone. I will never rent at U-Haul again.
