I will commend your company for holding my storage as long as you did, but my biggest complaint is when I received a message stating I could get my items at no charge, then not giving me any way to access those items. The items in the storage were my deceased brother who died not long after Covid started. I received a message from Erica at 24th st and McDowell office stating I could come get my items at no charge. I was working at the time and did not get the message until after they had closed for the day. I went down on Sunday with the means to get the storage cleaned out and was told the lock on there was unable to be opened. So I had to leave and not get my stuff Sunday. I called immediately when they opened Monday morning as my storage was due to go to auction and was told there was nothing they could do. I felt that this was the worst thing you could do to somebody, make them think they can get their items and not give them anyway to get it. I still have not even been contacted about the personal items that should have not been included in the auction. I expect this from Public Storage, but not U-haul. I will not ever get a storage with your company nor will I ever use your trucks, ever again.

Everyone was very nice, except one person he was rude and he pushed a new guy to do his work because he didn't want to do it. So I tipped the young guy 10 for being nice and helping me. Being a person with a disability, it meant a great deal.

I rented a truck for $29 - used it for only 3 hours & it cost me over $75. The amounts posted in the store & on-line are fraud - my invoice was more than double what I was told. No senior discounts, no AAA discounts - just gouging you!!!!

I picked up my original vehicle at another location and the van broke down and couldn't go into gear (drive). The van had to be towed after the technician worked on it for 4 hours. I was given a new vehicle but the service from the location wasn't very understanding and should have not charged me for any services.

Manager and staff were rude and disrespectful to me. Customer approved it to extend time and manager lied and said I didn't ask nor was approved for time changed and basically said I need to return truck right now or truck would be reported. I've had the worst experience and would never use them again.

The individual that helped me at the front desk and the other individual that help me hook up went above an beyond. They were very helpful with switching out hitch balls and wiring for the trailer rental. Along with some good laughs. Fast, efficient, and great customer service. These two two ware great assets to the company. Wish I remembered their name but I'm sure you have a record.

There were too many misunderstandings/miscommunications and they just made it worst instead of ending it right there. After almost a month of the rental, I just get a "I don't see the information you are talking about and there is nothing I can do about it" even talking to corporate.

I was not able to access my ubox on through the dates I was given. I was charged for something I didn't order. Jose the general manager at the phoenix location was rude and complained about doing his job he was uncooperative and lied about the status of my ubox this was a terrible experience. I will never use uhaul again and I will definitely be creating a video about this to warn people about the horrible service, experience, and over all culture at uhaul.

I reserved the pick up truck online the day before pickup. I was never greeted when I came in the store which was rude. I was told that I needed a credit card instead of a debit card for the pick up truck. The representative that helped me should of told me I can still rent a different truck with a debit card, but he didn't. I walked out side and thought about asking that and I did and was told yes I could. I definitely feel the customer service was terrible. This should of been communicated to me from the start. I'm totally disappointed at the customer service. I will never recommend or return to this location!

I think larger over the passenger side top of vehicle when you trying to locate your vehicle in the yard would be helpful after you just made the rental agreement

Worst experience with U-Haul ever. This mess up will end up costing me at a minimum $2 000 more dollars and require me to resecure labor again for round two which should have never been needed. Also required to attain help a second day this round as you were 5 hours late in providing a truck. Extremely Disappointed.

Sunday, mid-afternoon pick up, not busy at all, had pre-registered online so check-out was smooth, friendly, and efficient. Truck fuel level was at 3/8 full and I was told that same level was required at destination check-in; somewhat different than car rentals where fuel level comes full and should be returned full.

Original location at I-17 and McDowell did not have trucks. Was redirected to this location that morning instead which was further away from Mom's place.Would have preferred earlier notice of pickup location change

They did not have my U-box ready when it was scheduled to be picked up. The movers that were scheduled to pick up the box ended up being an hour and a half late due to the confusion and disorganization at this U-Haul location. After an hour and a half of confusion, and me having to physically come down to the location to figure out a solution I was finally able to pick up my U-box, but not without having to spend MORE money.

I was on time for my truck pick up and was ignored for more than 10 minutes. Then when someone tried to help me he became agitated that he misunderstood that I was picking up, not dropping off. I waited another 15 minutes. Due to all of this I had to pay my helpers for a full hour of wasted time.

The gas was not where the records showed on their system. When I pointed it out they didn't want to go back and correct it, they just said to take a picture and they will fix it where I drop it off. Which caused problems and misunderstanding where I dropped it off. Also, I was supposed to get a discount for dropping it off the same day that they did not put in the system or they couldn't bring it up in their system, so I payed full priced and said that the discount was going to show when I dropped the truck and trailer off.

I am just upset that the rate went up about $1300 within the 3 week period I was checking for a truck. Also that the closet UHaul didn't have a 15 foot truck, then the second location, the truck was in repair. They called us at 7am we had to travel further into Phoenix at a 3rd location for our 8am pickup when we had movers coming at 9am.

The whole experience was very confusing and overwhelming. The number of times I called customer service and was told "I don't know" or was passed along to another department was ridiculous. If I would've known that I was going to be responsible for doing half of the work of scheduling movers, figuring out pick up/drop off locations, figuring out where my Ubox's were (after they were lost), etc., then I would've gladly went elsewhere and paid more for a better experience. I will never use U-Haul/U-Box ever again.

Unfortunately, we did not have a positive experience checking in our vehicle/rental return. The original location that Uhaul sent to us to for the return would not accept the vehicle as they said they didn't take 1-way vehicles (Haul and they told us to go to a different Uhaul location 3,5 miles away. And upon arriving at that location a few minutes before closing, the doors were locked and the man who was behind the counter told us they were closed and we had to do self check-in.... which was OK... but the personnel at this location were NOT very helpful... and this was NOT a good customer experience.

Truck was dropped off on Sunday at 8:26 am. Used the mobile app which made it appear all was good. Got a call later on Sunday from U Haul wanting to know when I was dropping off the truck. Concerned I called and waited 20 minutes to speak to someone. Rep was extremely nice but was unable to resolve situation. Waited all day to receive invoice via email, never came. Next am called u haul again, no help was told to go to location and resolve there. Drove 20 miles to location, found truck was there but never checked in. Waited for check in and invoice. Was charged two extra days instead of one, this situation became a heated argument between myself and the manager. He was extremely rude and condescending and at one point shoved my phone off counter to slap down the contract. He finally agreed that I shouldn't pay for a day it sat on the lot. On my cross country trip I passed a lot of Penske rucks, I will surely give them a call for my upcoming move from CA to AZ. Very poor service all the way around. Guess this is what happens when you grow too big too fast. Seems customer first ought to be the motto in a customer centered business such as u haul. I have rented extensively from u haul and never had such a bad experience, all on a @ $1 500 rental. Sad !'

I arrived before white people and they ignored me for being hispanic... until when they finiah helping thw white cuatomers I asked 3 different people for help and thwy all told me to wait. The fucken mirror of the driver side kept getting lower with every little bump and that treuck jump alot... probably needs shock absorbers and maintenance... making it a hazard to drive... When your employee finaly decided to help me, he said that he help the other cuatomers because he tough I self check online (even when he saw me on line waiting outside... even after he asked me if I was returning the 26 foot truck) when I toldhim that the fucken mirtor was a hazzard he said that I was offending him... I said no , I said the fucken mirror keeps falling... i didnt said the f word to you there is a difference, he said we are done... i need my recwipt , he said jump into the van and turn on the ligths we are gonna check the breaks... i told him thats your job... thats not my job, all I need you to check is the miles and gasoline... Why I can deliver the truck at nigth and nobody will make me check the dawm stupid fucking ligths... and this asshole can try to make me waste my time. After they already ignored me and treated me as a second class customer? I WOULD NEVER USE YOUR FUCKING CONPANY AGAIN. FUCK YOU UHAUL...

I had a different storage for a long time. I wasn't comfortable with drug addicts pretty much living in thier units, and always hanging around the outside. This place has great security, & no one asking for change when you try to access your unit. I'm satisfied already 
