Be properly staffed for scheduled customers to prevent wait times extending into rental period. Train staff on customer service. Upon return of rental van, there was not staff to check in equipment. When staff arrived, he stood in front of vehicle on his phone for several minutes. Did not acknowledge me. I thought he was texting with someone while I continued to wait. Turns out he was using the Uhaul app to check me in, but had not spoken to me so I was unaware. Then proceeded to fire check in questions at me in an annoyed tone. Staff needs customer service training all the way around.

We checked in online, and after we were “all set” the instructions said to go inside and ask for the keys. The attendants made us wait in line, and we waited over 10 minutes getting the keys, so the whole checkin process took a half hour or so. Between the time it took us to get through the online checkin and waiting in line, we might as well started at the counter with the reservation.

Next time I need something from a Uhaul store in Colorado Springs I am undoubtedly coming to this location. The location itself was clean and well organized and the staff provided AMAZING customer service. I initially reserved a truck through the location on N. Academy. When I went to pick it up I was told it had been double booked and I wouldn't be able to get a truck until the following day. THANKFULLY I called this location on Victor Place and Powers Blvd. Randy Crompton (sorry for any misspelling or if I'm slightly off on your last name) was PHENOMENAL! She went above and beyond to find us what must have been the last available truck in the city. She was so sweet and friendly throughout our entire interaction. She was amazing, definitely has a great grip on her job and responsibilities because she was running around taking care of everything and solving every problem. My friend, her very pregnant sister and I are so so grateful for Randy and her help and positive attitude. I'd also like to say that when we were returning the truck Lafayette Jones was super helpful and friendly and had an absolutely contagious smile. Thanks for making what could have been a nightmare of a schedule change into a pleasant success!

Your were short staffed. I had a trailer reserved and scheduled for pickup at 8:00, but it took a full hour to get the trailer and drive out. The two team members who were working that morning, were working as efficiently and quickly as possible, but 2 people just wasn't enough.

Try providing actual customer service. I left your facility after one hour trying to do everything on my phone. Your representative didn’t want to do his job and made us waste valuable time doing his job for him. Also I lost an hour my rental since I had reserved for 6pm and I didn’t get finished with your phone check out until 7pm. I don’t go to pay for a service where I am expected to do your job as well. Will definitely not be using your service again.

The one thing that would be nice is to have longer hours for Drop off centers. As an older female I've had to request assistance with making sure the Car is strapped in correctly as well I can not always unhook what is attached to my hitch because of either lack of experience, the equiptment needs some fine tuning or major reqdjustment. I had alread met someone at this location last month and todays phone conversation only confirmed that they are very NICE people to work with. Thank you for helping me with the Closing of my Contract.

I spent several hours trying to pick up my truck and moving blankets. I had to go to multiple stores and was on the phone with customer support for hours. Truly an aggravating experience. The personnel was somewhat rude and unprofessional.

Every employee had an attitude very poor service and customer service skills. Waited about 15 minutes in front of 3 employees no one had no idea that I had not been helped , the employee said they were all out of rentals , I left called customer support , they said the same place I went to had a trailer I could rent , so I had to back track to the same place to get the trailer. I have been renting from this location for years never had an issue these are all new employees , there all lazy and I am very unhappy.

It is a storage location as well so it was difficult to get around folks that were in the storage units. When we first arrive an employee was in the middle of the road talking to a customer I assume, but was blocking the way. I think it would be an improvement to have customers arrive 15 minutes early to pick up vehicles , because you loose about that much time going over rules and requirements.

Have return lane cleared out. There was four units in the return lanes upon arrival. However the attendant had us move up to create a third lane and got us out in a very very timely manor. Thank you. The attendant also was very attentive to my concerns about the fender and hitch height. Five stars for this attendant!

I didn't reserve my UHaul for pickup at this location. I reserved it for All-Star rental on Tejon Street in Colorado Springs as that location is right around the corner from my storage unit and I was running a tight timeline. This change was not requested and ended up taking me an extra hour to complete. I also had other arrangements made with the Tejon street location that I was unable to complete and I ended up paying more than necessary to complete my pickup at a location I didn't desire. I would recommend you meet the needs of the customer and locate the vehicle for pickup at the location where the reservation is requested.

I have been very satisfied with service at this location in the past, however, I was left feeling very disappointed today. I made an appointment last week to get a new hitch installed on my 2019 Subaru Forester. I was told when I made the appointment over the phone for 2pm today, that it would take 45-60mins for installation. I arrived today at 1:55pm for the installation. There was another customer in front of me so I waited patiently until 2:42 when my vehicle was finally taken in for the installation. The installation was not complete until 3:55. I understand things happen, but this appointment lasted almost 2 hours which made me late to my prior engagements. The employee who assisted with processing my payment stated, customers prior to me were late which caused delays. I asked her how long are installations suppose to take and she responded with, “2 hours”. That was a response which I felt was a lie because, it contradicted what I was previously told on the phone from the same store. There should be a new policy that tells customers that if they’re late for an installation, they will be skipped. If I’m on time to my appointment, I should be be punished and be caused to be late myself for plans I had made for after the appointment. That is simply not fair for those who make it an effort to show up on time. I believe U-Haul does many great things and hope that today’s experience was an isolated one. I know this was long, but thank you for reading.

I originally requested this location due to the proximity to a local storage facility I had to use. U-haul.com let me book my reservation at this location but when I got called they informed me that the unit I reserved was not available and that I would have to travel 20-30 minutes away. I was not compensated for the change rather I just had to change my reservation to accommodate my original plans.

I have tried to contact u haul on four separate occasions to handle this and you refuse to speak to me. I will have my attorney contact u haul since you will not speak to me.

Our experience overall was ok; however, the woman who received our reservation(Jennifer Hudson) was extremely rude to other customers waiting in line to reserve equipment. While we are fully aware that it is PCS season, it does not warrant sarcasm, flippancy and a flagrant disregard to customer service. Although we will use U-haul again, we will no longer patronize this particular location.

I rented a truck 5 miles from my intended location. One email said I could pick up the truck at the JD warehouse location. However I had to drive 20+ miles both ways tp pick up and return the truck. At a cost of .99 a miles, this represented an extra $40.00 for mileage. In additional the agent was trying to use my phone to book the rental and when that didn't work he set my phone down and someone picked it up and I discovered it was not in my bag after I had driven several miles and had to return to uhaul while they tried to find my phone which I think was found in a service area. I was charged mileage for this mistake.

The trip took longer than what it was supposed to take and that was because of the storms are going across the Midwest Hurricanes tornadoes and thunderstorms yeah lotta grace on how long it took us to finnish our trip. Customer service people were helpful and nice but the wait time was extremely long and the store appeared very understaffed. The employees talked among themselves expressing frustration with store and management. The store seemed poorly managed and unorganized. Also there was a lock on the hitch that I was not aware of so I was unable to use the hitch on the truck. I reserved a trailer that was only available at another location and they were not able to remove the lock. Because of time I was unable to go back to the original location to have the lock removed and could not get the trailer rental. Overall I was very displeased with the experience and will rent from another company next time.

She took the time to set up everything in my smart phone and explained everything clearly and with a great attitude. I was very impressed by her ability to take care of myself and other customer that showed up while taking care of me, without neglecting me. She was without a question, a multi-task kind of person.

Better explanation of Safe Move vs Safe Move Plus. Really should just offer Plus, to alleviate confusion on coverages. Truck was not loaded with Furniture Pads/Blankets or Dolly as requested with rental. Service center did provide them promptly upon return.

Work on customer service and phone etiquette. Employee was very rude, saying that the unit needed to be returned asap, cause it was due out on another rent as soon as I drop it off and it wasnt scheduled to be returned for another 45 minutes. Will never use U-Haul again. Found out that another company rents trucks for the same amount and thay are clean when you pick them up.

Don’t offer a chance to talk to a representative/ or use a smartphone to pick up/ drop off if you don’t mean it. I prefer to deal with human beings. I was forced to get out my phone and open an account at the time of my reservation. 45 minutes later I was able to drive away. Some cloud based rep was judging my identification/photos as to they authenticity. Pickup was amazing and smooth. Took 2 minutes as I worked with a rep personally

My instillation took over 5 hours when I scheduled, confirmed my appoint, and arrived saying I would be waiting while the work was completed. This location was grossly understaffed, which I had plenty of time to witness first hand. I have no doubt that the absurd amount of time it took for my hitch to be installed was directly related to staffing issues.

Overall cleanliness of the truck was good, however it smelled HORRIFIC, massive body odor in the cab of the truck. We did truck share and when we went to turn it in after only 2-3 hours of use Brandon said do not worry about doing the truck share return I will return it for you. Get a call the next day and asked if we needed an extension on the truck. So in other words Brandon did not return the truck. Now I am worried about the miles on the truck. How do I know that he or someone else did not drive off with it? The tank was already on E when we picked it up. So now I feel like questioning the miles on the truck. I know exactly the route and I can pull it up on google maps, including both addresses and the gas station that we stopped at to see if the mile are correct. This is why I stick with the Nevada or Galley locations. I never have a good experience with Victor Pl Location.

The cargo door didn't work for the 1st month, and I was told by a “manager” I would get a refund for unused time when I left. GM wouldn’t honor it. More issues, but not enough space. Never again!
