I reserved a 26footer a month before my move a day before my pick up I received a phone call stating I've been down sized to a 15 footer in which, cause me to make three trips and I went over my mileage and was charge almost $50 extra when I was the one who was inconvenience. Everything was easy to do and it ran smooth. The 3 different men I encountered were very pleasant and helpful and respectful sorry I don't remember their names to specifically thank them. No I wouldn't recommend Uhaul at least not the one I keep dealing with, and having the same bad experience! This location has a bunch of rude, lazy, and overbearing group of men I have had the displeasure of doing business with and I will convey that every chance I get. Unlike, the lady from NY that helped me after being dismissed by them she knows how to treat customers and I said as much to her supervisor! After speaking to her I unfortunately had to deal with one person in particular today at that location and he was even worse than our previous dealings hours earlier.

The personnel were great help. They told me exactly where the place was, where to go close by to get gas, helped me back up the trailer, & walked me through the drop off process. Went over the costs. Frank was a devoted Employee . He was top notch in ALL areas . You should be glad you have a person like him working for you . Now about your Reservation site . It sucks . I can't remember the young lady's name who checked us in, however, she was pleasant and professional. We had an early morning pick much further away than what we originally scheduled but she made the experience doable. I had Truck Share 24/7 Reserved. This location key drop isn't working they didn't call me to let me know I couldn't pick up my truck rental until Customer Center opened. Which delayed my time schedule. I reserved 2 dozen moving pads they only had a dozen in stock.

My driver side mirror was so loose when I drove over the smallest bumps it would shift and I would need to roll down the window and adjust it. Making Driving at hiway speeds dangerous. Stoped at u haul and asked to put set screw in and they said it could not be done, they didn't even look at. Yes they offered a different truck but I was already loaded up.

When I entered the vehicle I used my phone to fill out the approval rental checklist. My contract stated that the gas tank was half full, I noted that this was incorrect and uploaded a photo of the gauge showing just under one quarter full and added notes to this effect. I droped off the vehicle an hour later with three eights of a tank of gas. Arrving home I was emailed a receipt with a seventeen dollar charge for feul. This prompted a call with an over ten minute wait time, I chose a call back in ten to fifteen minutes. After thirty minutes with no call back I called again, a very helpful representative confirmed my account of the situation transferred me to customer service, another ten to fifteen minute wait until that person could assist me with a refund in the next two to three days. So, I followed all instructions, entered all information with photos to your platform, was overcharged then had to waste over an hour on a busy day (I rented the truck for a time sensitive project)with your customer service to have to wait a few days for a financial correction. Not a great experience.

This location filed a police report 9 months after I dropped it off in another state saying it was a "stolen vehicle" without even making contact with me first, and this is unacceptable and shameful (possibly illegal). This location wasn't even aware that I had a one-way trip to a destination other than theirs and thus never even attempted to contact that location to see if I dropped it off there before filing a police report - obviously I had indeed dropped it off per the contract. It is my goal to never use UHaul again after this and I will let others know that the company undertakes backhanded and seedy practices of never giving receipts or formal paperwork upon dropoff (yet later demanding them or saying I'll be liable) and attempting to force you to pay them for a "stolen trailer" nearly a year after.

Some of the worst customer service we have experience in our lives. We moved across the country and picking up a truck and dropping it off was supposed to be the easy part and uhaul made it absolutely horrendous. I have never stood in front of a person for 5 minutes waiting for them to even acknowledge my existence while they sit at the desk and pretend like I am not there. Zero communication, zero information about our rental. Not a single person at the uhaul facility in quartermaster plaza in Philadelphia had any idea what was going on with our reservation drop off, payment info, refund info. They did not even seem to know anything about their own facility. Prices, storage unit locations, hours. How do you run a business like that? Serious question. We have paid uhaul close to $3000 for the worst moving experience of our lives. We returned the uhaul with hundreds less miles than estimated and with more gas in the vehicle then when we picked it up and we still have not heard anythinf about being refunded the difference in the cost we originally paid. We are not going to let this go because It is truly unacceptable and something needs to be done about it. At the bare minimum, we need to be refunded for the difference in mileage/gas from the original payment versus how many miles we actually drove. The guy working the desk spent more time on his iPhone than trying to attend to my needs. When I finally got a 10x10 until it was one with 3x3 of it taken up by a internal metal tube taking up a very large space of my alleged 10x10 rental area. There was also a large human feces in the unit itself, one I reported and asked to have removed. I've no idea if this has been done due to the employees disinterest in his job and fascination in his iPhone tiq toq or. Whatever kept his attention more important than me as a customer.

Worked well for what I needed. I unloaded ink es for storage and then loaded them again for a move. U-Haul box location isn't convenient for the storage area, but I'm not sure how common it is to unload the crates into a regular storage unit. Seems like there should be a way to make this process more convenient for the customer. I realize it's a warehouse, and mice are common but my belongings had mouse feces and urine all over it. You might want to treat the area. Staff seems happy and very helpful, although always very busy and wait times were long.

A dead rodent and rodent droppings were found all over my storage unit. When i mentioned it, the staffperson swept up the dead rodent but refused to sweep the open space, then was rude and uncooperative. A claim nor an followup took place the day of the incident. Didnt get a call back. Had to call back multille times before claim was opened - amd still never received any feedback about the claim. I ended my strage contract sooner than I wanted to because of this.

The front desk officer was not helpful at making the process smoother. The storage unit was difficult to access. It took us a long time to get in the unit and then found out the unit we were assigned to was locked… so we had to wait to be reassigned another unit which was more expensive since it was the only one available left. The overall experience was inconvenient.

Shortly after I moved in 6years ago there was construction done on the building and my unit was a mess had to make an insurance claim to get my unit cleaned. Lighting was no and off in my area. David was very helpful. It would be nice if the staff could keep the supply of locks up for future customers, since I did not budget time to purchase one at the Home Depot next door and this created a series of problems. David was helpful throughout the process.

David & Andrew were above and beyond with the service. I was moving out of my storage and had to rent a truck, they help me during the whole process. I'm leaving but if in the future I need a storage I'll definitely consider Uhaul again.

Horrible experience. I reserved a 10x7 unit in June for a august move in. My reservation wasn't honored and the had no more 10 x7s available. After 90 minutes they gave me a 10x7 that was reserved by someone else. This unit had a uhaul lock on it for 3 weeks and they couldn't remove it. Don't know why. They don't keep bolt cutters around??? I said I shouldn't be charged rent for those 3 weeks the employee refunded my money and started over with rentinG a different unit The manager finally steps out of his office after hearing the employees struggling to fix the issues and reprimand him for refunding my money and spoke down to me as it was my problem that I didn't let him know there was a problem getting into the unit. It would have been different if they had a key to remove the lock but couldn't give access to the unit. It doesn't matter if I physically started moving stuff in 3 weeks after I rented it.. the employees didn't follow up at all to make sure it wasn't and issue. They forgot about me as soon as I walked out the door. And the manager/ owner was a jerk

Great staff. Very helpful on the first day. Only suggestion would be when cleaning possible spray or use small air fresheners for there was an odd smell, but other than that everything was good.

After leaving the customer service area, I forgot to inquire about moving the due date to the 21st of the month. So, when I called back after returning back to my house. I called U-thul, I was put on hold for a couple of minutes, and the customer service representative answered the phone. This young man had an accent voice. I said to him that I just left the customer service area with my son and I wanted to move the due date back to the 21st of the month. He said to me that I would have to pay another month's rent in order to change the due date. I told him never mind and I hung up the phone.

Othello, (like the Shakespeare) was very helpful when I arrived to rent the 10' truck and explained the details on the available storage lockers with ease. The staff at this facility was incredibly friendly and my experience was an excellent one. My ability to obtain the truck and the storage locker really helped me when I needed it. It was the worst experience ever with 2990 S. 20th St. the general manager David was the most rude ever he did not tell me about the 24 hour service he did not want to help me with the truck he had me move the truck like three or four times after I went home he’s the worst person I’ve ever met If something doesn’t happen with him I believe you’re going to have really serious problems.

It was a huge hassle - I couldn't get the online reservation to work, so came in person. Was told AFTER paying that they don't have the required locks and to go to Home Depot who doesn't have the same lock for sale, so had to cancel the whole thing after an hour. Total waste of time, and the person who served me was incredibly not giving any shits.

I just got my unit yesterday. So everything seems nice. It was clean and well lite. Staff was polite and knowledgeable.
