Although I was probably their first customer, the person at the desk acted as if they'd already had a long day. I get that you rent 50 times a day, but we only rent once a year or so. Chill out and speak in complete sentences. I like this location because they are generally quite quick about a process that U-Haul makes unnecessarily tedious. The line is always out the door. This place needs reps inside and outside. Ones who can check you in and others who can get the keys and truck ready. Everytime I go here it is one or two reps running in and out with the line pass the entrance with people literally standing outside waiting for assistance. Place more staff on the site whos main focus is the customers not the parking lot or back end like storages and golf carts. This location needs a severe team approach so the staff and customers won't feel over whelm.STEPHANY LYNNETT D.
The self-return sucks. The U-Haulk app is very stupid and did not work. It continuously asked me to take a picture of the odometer and did not get the photo. After 40 minutes of struggle, I found that I could do the same procedure in the web browser and finally succeededBumjin I.
I moved from another facility sight unseen because of the website pics and the prices. I was able to order the storage unit online. NO WHERE on the site did it say I would have to wait 30+ minutes to have the unit made ready upon arrival. NO WHERE when making the reservation for the unit did it show a photo pf the actual unit. I was HIGHLY disappointed. The staff is miserable, unfriendly, and has zero idea on how to staff properly or communicate with customers. From the initial signing of the paperwork and getting the card access thingy to the final call to confirm I had a zero balance and was moved out, this location is subpar. I've been inside the office 6 times total and every time there was a line of customers, no one greeting people, and staff unhappy. Once an employee (with a neon green and blue wig on) was cussing in the store to another employee. Its the closest Uhaul for rentals for our company so we will keep coming back for that... My complaint with returning the equipment is it was returned on Saturday, a day early and I was called by a Uhaul representative at a different location today telling me I returned the truck at the wrong store. I was told my reservation didn't have an address so I could return at any location. The representative I spoke to was very unprofessional and acted like I would need to go pick up the equipment at the Research location. I was then told the equipment was never checked in at the Research store.Angela M.

Improve customer service. I had reservations to get a storage which online, phone customer service rep and in store rep confirmed would be 1st month free. Show up to sign contract and manager got really frustrated and argumentive that storage information was given incorrect. No one is on the same page not even web site. I canceled storage order went else were due to poor customer service. Completed online pick up for truck still had to go inside for keys. With a rep stopping me while driving off lot at entrance after given me the keys stating "to give her keys back and come inside truck contract didn't go through online." Then she apologized handing keys back after she realized contract was completed online successfully.Stephany D.

Hands down, this was the worst experience I've ever had at this location. The new "management " is poor and not customer oriented. My key fob broke and I had to go to a different location to have it replaced. This, in turn, delayed my move by at least 3 hours. Consequently, my truck was 20 minutes late. The staff refused to refund my money for the day or even credit me. After I left the location, the "manager, Lexi, called to tell me i owed 12 additionally for my gasoline, to which I replied that "under the circumstancesI they should waive that cost for the inconvenience of my having to drive to another location to get a new key". She then replied, "well it was not broken when you picked up the truck". And they had the nerve to say "I won't charge you for an extra day since you returned the truck late". I have been using this location for my businesses and for personal use, many times a year, for over 20 years. The current staff and "management" does not represent uhaul favorably and should be reviewed immediately. I will not be using this location again after this experience.CAROL D.
The truck rental process is a nightmare at this location. I've rented here 3 times and every time there is a long line for pick up, it is understaffed, amd the staff on duty are in a terrible mood. This location took 132 and the total cost of the rental was 55 for 8 miles and less than an hour of rental. The cup holder console area in the truck was dirty I had to put my cell phone in my lap. In addition, workers from moving company did not arrive as scheduled nor provided notice they would be late. After contacting the number provided by UHaul, workers representative feigned late start and extended hours on earlier customer and he wanted to wait to call until he could give a firm arrival time. First and foremost, I want to say that the delivery drivers were amazing. Both women were incredibly kind and helpful. And above all, really good at their jobs. They were able to place the boxes in creative ways that made them much easier to unload. Major props to them. I only really had 2 issues: 1) our UBoxes were not picked up on time. We were moving out of an apartment complex, and our lease ended before the boxes were picked up. While we haven't received any kind of fee for that, I do expect one. This was not ideal. I understand issues with trucks happen, but I would encourage UHaul to come up with some alternatives (maybe a truck from another store in town?) 2. Calling UHaul. Once I got transferred to the UHaul on Research, the staff was amazing. But the hold times were pretty bad. And there were so many phone numbers it was hard to tell who to call to reach the right person. I think if it was clear on the website which number to call to directly reach the Research store, that would be great.Cassandra S.

All the staff I dealt with was great. Special thanks to driver Yolanda who delivered my Ubox in Seattle. I would say the phonelines could use some help. Received a truck with a lot of external damage and the images sent did not match the truck I received. I was holding up a line of trucks that needed to leave, so I could not dispute the images/inspect the truck properly. After my movers loaded the truck, the check engine light went on. The U-Haul location did check the truck and said it was a sensor issue and the engine light went off. However, it came back on halfway into my trip and was very stressful not knowing if it could make the journey. It was also difficult driving without cruise control, so that should be made more clear from the start. I would have considered other options had I known about that limitation.David R.

I was charged for an extra dolly that I did not have or use, charged a cleaning fee when the truck was returned fully cleaned and exactly the way it was when I picked it up, and I was charged 2 $more than the rate for the dolly I did use. More desk staff. Georgetown location had already screwed up my 24/7 pickup... Corporate found truck at this location and pre-loaded all information. Still had to wait 15 minutes for a clerk... then 10 minutes to finish process. Required a secondary contact, really? It was a pickup truck for God's sake. Made the reservation for a 15 foot truck for 24 hours. I looked at my reservation and saw that it said 6 hours so I called and got it straightened out and back to 24 hour. I got there to check out my truck and a young lady at the front counter told me that I only could have the truck for 6 hours and I said I have a reservation for 24 hours and I need it for more than six and she says well then we can't rent to you if you don't bring it back by 10 p.m.. I said when do you need it she said 7 a.m. I said I'll have it back by then and she says no if you don't have it back by 10 p.m. waking up next to you. I have a reservation in advance. Because I'm a business and had to have the truck I said I'll try to get it back in 6 hours and she said well if you don't they'll be a fee. She was super rude and I said may I speak to your Superior and she stomped off I got Gemma the manager who have worked with before and it was very nice and very find and handle the situation with maturity unlike I would say very hostile person that was at the desk. Jim I made excuses for the young girl and said she's just young that's just the way down people behave sometimes. J i m a that's a very good job but it was a pretty bad experience and I'll have to elsewhere in the future because she said that they could no longer rent for more than six hours at a time. The overall experience was great except the return piece of it. I returned the trailer right after the office closed and I tried and my friend tried to use the online app to return the trailer but it failed at the "confirm my location" step and there was no way to get past it. I dropped off the trailer, took pictures of it and the next day spent 38 minutes on hold waiting to confirm that my trailer was received back into inventory and I could get a receipt of the cost. Just rented two units and more than likely won't be staying very long due to the access hours. I went to my unit 24 hours after signing the paperwork and there was a little green lock on my unit. Mean while I have a truck full off stuff to put in my unit, it's getting dark and I have to deal with a lock on my unit the first day I signed the contract. Not cool, not convenient. On busy weekends, it would be useful to have more people working. I was there on a Saturday, and there was a long line and only 3 employees at the entire facility. I put my belongings in storage because I had no room in my temporary residence. When I went to pick up my belongings on the day I was moving to my permanent residence, many of my boxes had gotten wet and there was evidence of rodent droppings as well as insects inside boxes that had gotten wet. I had to come back three times to go through and salvage what I could, transfer to other boxes, spray for insects to ensure I did not transfer to my new home. I ended up throwing out four large trash bags of my things that were in questionable condition. To ensure I was not bringing insects into my new home, I had to place the boxes I did keep and transfer to new boxes, in my garage and use an insect fogger 3 different times until there was no sign of insects. Excellent, my experience with Uhaul was amazing from start to finish. I rented a truck online in Austin TX and picked it up in Boca Raton FL, this was all during the Covid-19 Hoax and let me tell you...they were amazing. When I went in to pick up the truck they let me upgrade the size of truck-trailer for free and they gave me and extra 4 days for FREE!!! on top of that they also gave me 30 days storage at their Uhaul Self Storage facility in North Austin. Really nice people with amazing customer service. WELL DONE and Kudos to the organization. I appreciate you all. They were extremely nice to me, they even upgraded my trailer to a bigger one, gave me a couple extra days to get back to Texas and even gave me one month free storage. Amazing Customer Service. The best part of the experience was the trailer itself, it hitched on the back of my truck and was smooth sailing the whole trip from Florida thru major storms along the way.
