Remove the assist manager or get her some more training on customer service. She was very rude and unprofessional. Her name was Shaqella and she doesn't need to be ant type of manager. When I walked in she totally ignored me, no hi hello or I'll be right with u just rude and beyond unprofessional! Typically this UHaul is the best in the city but the fay I met her changed my entire view. Sad that all the other employees are great, friendly and a joy to communicate with but that girl needs to work behind a desk with no customer contact! #RudeChevelle G.

The equipment broke down, and I had to get a tow truck to remove it. If you can't rent equipment that's more reliable and in better condition than I really can't return to U-Haul for another rental.Jamille S.
The first truck I got we get just about 4 MI and all of a sudden lights come on warning bells were ringing called you how they told us to bring it back couldn't take it over 10 miles an hour it took us an hour from the time I called him until I could get the truck back over to Reynolds road then they give us a rough way to go about getting a different truck but when we finally got the second truck it was very goodKathy L.

This was the absolute worst uhaul experience I've ever had. If your going to list rental equipment as guaranteed on the website, you need to back that up. I was scheduled to pick up a 5 x 8 trailer in Addison Michigan on Sunday 9/5, which I scheduled online because it said rental guaranteed. I was then called and told that this location was closed and did not have that equipment, my rental was changed to a 6 x 12 trailer in Jackson Michigan. When I called to say that I couldn't tow a 6 x 12 with my 2 wheel drive 2013 Honda Pilot, Trinity was extremely rude to me and argued with me that online it says my car can tow this. I had to explain to her that my car has a 2000 pound towing capacity and this trailers empty weight is listed 1960 pounds. So while technically my car could tow the empty trailer, I had plans to put things in it for towing which would have exceeded my tow capacity. This is a major safety concern if other costumers don't understand their towing capacity. I was transferred 3 different times, and yelled at because everywhere was closed and they didn't have my equipment. After almost an hour on the phone I was finally set up with a trailer in Toledo Ohio, over an hour drive for pick up from my location. The ladies at Reynolds road were helpful but very slow. I was there almost an hour because apparently when Trinity moved my reservation it changed my quotes price to double what it was when I booked online and no one seemed to be able to figure out how to change that. They initially suggested I pay that and then wait for a refund, which was unacceptable. They Reynolds road ladies finally made it right, but what was supposed to be an easy 20 minute drive for pick up, ended up costing me over 2 hours of extra gas and over 3 hours of my holiday time with my family that weekend. I have been a loyal uhaul costumer for years, but after this experience I will never use you again. You have some major website, inventory, and costumer service issues that need to be addressed.Laura S.

The check engine light was on, the vehicle would not go over 45 mph. None of the vents worked so we couldnt use the AC. The preexisting damage to the driver rocker panel caused the driver door to not shut properly. When we turned left it flew open. I had to strap it shut with a bungee cord I had.Dawn W.

This location is open till 5 on Sunday. When I came to return the truck the door was locked at 4:45 with employees still inside watching about 4-5 customers who tried to return the trucks. I dropped the keys in the slot and came home. When I tried to process the return online it needed me to take picture on the location so I drove back to uhaul and took picture on the barcode of the location. In the next step it wanted me to take picture of the odometer and gas gauge. I already dropped the keys so I was unable to do it. Next day I got charged additional 20 $because the truck wasn't properly returned. This all could have been avoided if the employees didn't lock the doors early. There were 4-5 people outside with me so I'm assuming you'll be hearing from some of us.Justin R.
The manager was rude to say the least. I was trying to get an understanding of why there were extra charges on my card upon return of my rental, and I was greeted with an attitude and a lack of professionalism. I was requesting an explanation, and yet I got hostility and rude comments. I won't be using that store again in the future.Brett R.

Two plastic guards near the hitch on the underbody of my SUV were not snapped into place properly and the rear automatic hatch does not function properly now. I noticed this the same day that this hitch was installed. My vehicle is newer and still under warranty, but I don't think that they will cover damage caused by installation of this hitch. The rear hatch was working properly, without any issues at all, prior to this hitch installation.Ronald S.

Take care of the customer. Returned a rental before posted closing times and was told they closed the doors 15 minutes earlier than posted and then the app would not work for Mobil check-in. When I called the next day to get a refund for the overnight charge I should not of had. Manager was rude on the phone.Gary N.

Your online return the truck was a pain in the ass. First of all it would not work with standard iPhone safari trying to get a location and would not allow me to move forward by typing in the address. Several times I went through my settings using your help screen trying to get it to allow it to share my location with Safari. I finally gave up on that. Therefore I had to sit in your parking lot download chrome and then it would work, but I ended up spending about a half hour trying to do so.Otherwise everything was great.Chris R.

I have rented 100â€s of times from Uhaul. I have several choices when it comes to rentals. I'd like to see more discounts offered to repeat customers who rents frequently. Safety checks on tail lights is a must. I rented same trailer 3 times in 4 months and right tail light is still out. I had to stop at Autozone and buy replacement bulb. So I wouldn't get stopped and cited.john C.
I was charged after the fact for cleaning 33 $. I put 100 $dollars in fuel and only used half. Do I get a refund for my fuel? There were some dust bunnies on the floor... I showed the employee and he said nothing. I get charged 33 $dollars without warning 25 minutes after I drop off the truck, and at home. I was 45 minutes early. I did everything right and get blindsided? The best part is when I call to understand my 33 $charge, and why the employee could not tell me while I was present about it at drop off, they used covid and understaffed as an excuse....pathetic! I am 54 years old and I don't make excuses for my work... If you run a business then act like one, and be up front. Don't have hidden charges that cannot be disputed because I am home now. The overall experience was honestly puzzling. I originally placed an order through the app only to arrive and find out this location didn't carry 17' trucks. I originally wanted a 15' which was unavailable on the app. The employees were not knowledgeable about a few details when asked, only to be answered with â€œI don't really knowâ€. There were (4) other employees onsite who were not asked for answers by the person helping me. When I brought the truck back, an employee offered to take the keys while they were on a personal FaceTime call. I asked about a receipt, to which I was told I would get one via email within minutes. It's now been over 24 hours and I still unfortunately do not have a receipt. I would appreciate some follow up from someone who can assist me if possible. I'm pretty patient as I deal in customer experience as well, but this was really underwhelming to say the least. GregGregory S.
I'm not sure what the protocol is for maintenance but no one ever checked to make sure a truck I paid 2 800 $to be driven across country (2000 miles) was suitable for the trip! Seems like U-haul only cares about money! Not the safety and well-being of the people they rent trucks to! Apparently the truck they gave me had previously had maintenance done to it because they never closed up probably!! So my family suffered for it! My daughter is physically scarred because the truck burnt her leg. I mean how is something so serious go unnoticed? The truck should have never been rented out! Let alone rented to someone driving so far. I would NEVER recommend this location!! At this point, I'm so disappointed with U-haul I don't think I'd recommend anyone to rent a truck from not only this location, but all U-haul locations!!Melissa G.

I made a reservation in June for a 4x8 trailer to be picked up Aug.6. I completed the online registration day prior and paid online. Imagine my surprise when arriving to pick up trailer, being told one wasn't available there or anywhere in the local area. My options were few. I had to rent a small truck at a much higher cost, not to mention gas and we needed to drive a personal vehicle to Columbus as the truck only held 2 passengers and we had 3 people. No one was able to explain why my reservation (trailer) was not available. And no one called to tell me, I had to find out the day of pick up. That is a very flawed system. On-site personal were perplexed. My original expense was around 60 $ended up spending 180 $. So, very disappointed in uhaul. You can do better.Janell S.

Everything was great other than me being the only truck and had to go into the store to grab help after sitting there for almost 10 min. The only reason I stayed in the vehicle was because of a sign posted that instructed customers to stay in the vehicle until helped. I walked in and no one really greeted me and eventually one lady said, â€œoh just give me the key and I'll take care of it. Thank you.â€ I was grateful for her help but wondered why no one came out sooner or why I had to seek out help. Otherwise the location seemed very organized and clean.dustin D.
