It arrives ahead of schedule which was a nice surprise. But it is a very expensive service because of the lack of competition. It cost more than the $$ value of my stuff witch was more sentimental than anything else. And the time that takes to arrives is very long for the distance that takes in driving. But is a good idea for not having to drive and have extra expenses in lodging and food.

The issues that I had were with the Kent delivery location. I had to delay the delivery for a week, because they did not have a truck available - all their trucks were down. Otherwise, the Kent location did a good job of communication, delivery, and pick-up.

The entire process from start to end was TERRIBLE. Nothing to do with the staff at pick up and drop off locations. The truck should not have been on the road..... issues too long to list. From one reservation I must of made over 20 calls to UHaul; unacceptable!!!!

The worker kind of screwed me over with the mileage. When I guessed how far I might go he rounded down by 10 miles and I went over to my original so I paid more. Just not clear in communication about guessing more accurately. Disappointed there.

My location in Rochester, NY was wonderful. My pod was delivered and picked up on time, according to the contract. My only complaint about them was that they did not tell me to put a lock on my unit after I had packed everything. However! the location in Chicago, where I moved to, did absolutely EVERYTHING wrong! A representative told me the WRONG date on which my storage pod would be delivered, they did not communicate the logistics of how delivery would work, AND they are continuing to charge me even after my contract has ended! Seriously! I actively recommend that new customers NOT use UHaul for their move!

This U-Haul facility was a bit out of the way, but I found it. I was surprised that the folks did not inspect truck and just accepted key. They were very efficient and told me I would be getting an email from UHaul with more details. I haven't received anything yet so I am just hoping everything is OK. It would have been better to leave there with everything feeling done.

I was told the 17' truck needed would be available for pick up when I arrived at the Ajax Rd facility there was none there and was at the Greece location but was never told this by the woman on the phone when I called. The person that waited on me (robert halter) was very accommodating and was able to discern that the 15' would work (it did).

Well first of all, they didnt have the right size trailer i reserved, then when i returned it they overcharged my card the wrong amount, after i called they refunded some, then i had 2 charges showing in my bank acct and almost a week later now i have 3 charges on my bank account, i will be calling a third time tomarrow.

When I went to rent, I had a staff member to help me install it into my car. I was very happy. Unfortunately, the staff member forgot something that helped me install it. I almost had a car accident on the highway. I went back today. When I told another staff member, he told me to check it out and perfuse me. What I want to say is that this is very important and I have to explain it to me.

Originally rented from Irondequoit on Friday night for Saturday. Picking up Saturday with my confirmation.They told me they rented it already and I had to drive to airport.Upon turning it in no receipt was given.....

I made a reservation weeks prior to my move for a 7am pickup. At 2:30pm the DAY BEFORE my move I got a confirmation that my uhaul would be available at 6:30pm...almost 12 hours after I needed/requested it. I already had moving companies scheduled to load the truck based on getting my U-Haul at the scheduled morning time. When I called, the first woman hung up on me and the second one told me they wouldn’t have the truck available. Isn’t the point of making a reservation in advance so they can plan accordingly and have the truck available!? The associate told me “It doesn’t work like that”. After arguing my point, they were able to honor my request, but it was an absolute nightmare.

Truvk was 4 hours late coming back in. No one called me to tell me that, I had to call to find out. This is the 2nd time this has happened in the past few weeks. It really messes with plans fir moving help and travel. You need to increase late penalties do they are severe enough to motivate lazy and selfish renters.

I had a great experience with this location and the staff. The truck was in good condition. The experience of using the 24/7 app for pickup was honestly a hassle (returning was fine). I think next time I will try to rent during open hours.

I would not recommend the movers that we got off the Uhaul site. I had to call the police and make a report for Missing items within moments of the movers being on property and running back and forth to their private vehicle. Very unprofessional. Bad experience.

Uhaul always says you have to return the truck with a full tank (or else pay a huge ripoff in the range of $4.50 per gallon they put in after you're done), but they don't actually give you the truck with a full tank even if the meter seems to point to "F" for "FULL". I drove my rental truck 11 miles and figured I would put 1 gallon of gas in before returning it. As I pumped the gas, I was shocked to realize I'd pumped a full 3 gallons in and it wasn't even full yet! There's no way I'd used more than 1 gallon of gas, so I feel like I was possibly being put on the hook for other people's gasoline.

The large door was open. I worry about rodents (mice) getting into the building. If the someone isn't using the doors to go in or out, then please keep them closed. Staff is friendly.
