Taylor PlumbleeOnly problem was the initial order of the pods the order taker didn't price me correctly or transfer my order to Port Orange/Daytona office since that is where the pods would be delivered and I told him that. This was confirmed from the recorded call that Port Orange was most likely the destination but somewhere in that area. I got a discount but never good to get a surprise in cost after Uhaul has your stuff. The Ladies that did the pick up and drop off were awesome. Lots of pads and my packing didn't move. I guess the only problem was the only guy involved was the order taker. If not for that I would have given a excellent rating.
Jeff BrownUhaul needs better communication between themselves and the businesses that choose to rent out their trucks. My original reservation was for a 10' box truck at Royalty Tires on goldenrod road specifically because it was close to my house and the pickup location. I reserved my truck at 6AM for 7:30PM that night. No one contacted me all day regarding the reservation, which I thought was fine until I showed up and the business never left keys in a lockbox for me. Businesses should be confirming uhaul reservations BEFORE leaving for the day. So while waiting on the phone I am wasting time that I needed.. I am then sent to orange Ave which is further than I wanted to go. I am in the middle of the check in process when I am given a code to one of the lockboxes .. lo and behold there's NO KEY. Now I'm waiting on the phone AGAIN and finally get a key for a truck that was bigger than I needed. I didn't get to start my furniture move until an hour after scheduled and it was very frustrating.

I did the online check-in, arrived at the Orange Ave location and was driving within ten minutes of my arrival. The move took less than an hour. I asked to speak to a manager and she told me no manager was there this week. I then asked go be transferred to customer service and was put on hold with dead air space for 5 minutes. I then hung up and called customer service where someone named Carrie was very helpful and got things moving to help me. Hmmm. Not the U-Haul I remember! The drop off location in Cape Coral (DeBono's) is excellent and we have always had excellent service with then through the years. The Orlando location is no longer an option for us.

Cassandra WinterrowdI rent all the time with you guys for local hauls. I'm moving to Virginia and have been back and forth a bit. Rented a trailer to take some furniture up. Now with at least 8 trailers of the size I rented, they chose the absolute WORST crappiest one all the way in the back of the lot. It's a trailer, I get it, who cares what it looks like, but it doesn't give you a whole lot of confidence driving 750 miles. Anyway, this trailer literally had two flashlights zip tied onto the back acting as taillights. BTW, you had to press the buttons on the flashlights to turn them on manually. REALLY? Not joking... I have photos. Also, the door had a strap that was broken and the door wouldn't shut. The next trailer (the second worst on the lot) , after re-arranging several newer nicer trailers, turns out the brake lights don't work properly. So after 45 minutes of waiting for all this, they finally re-arranged enough trailers to reveal another old crappy trailer that was completely covered with mud. He offered to spray it off for me but after almost an hour of waiting I was already running behind. I can only guess this location is keeping the nice trailers in house and trying to pawn off the old crappy ones? None of my business, but pulling a trailer a long distance is stressful by itself, much less having to worry about improperly maintained equipment. Your customers deserve more respect and peace of mind.

Ileana MunizTo start off the experience was bad. When we went to pick up truck at location, there was no one there; we had to go to another location. Thank goodness the staff there was incredibly helpful. About the vehicle…..it was very old, so ild it had roll down windows!! Might as well not have side mirrors as they are practically non-adjustable. Your self return procedure is tedious…..the only one appreciating this is UHaul so you don't have to pay someone to do it. BTW….it took me more than 10 minutes to locate the key drop-off….it is absolutely not at all as the pic you show.

I was so disappointed that I went thru this experience especially while having my value items in there including my child's stuff. This was the worst. What I would say is that the manger did waive off the fees that I had with them there but I'm still in shock for all my belongings being stolen from one of there employees. The reason I say that is that we never picked up the key from the unit the front desk people had all this time and when my husband went to get our belongings it was most of it gone. They couldn't even find the key to the unit they had to cut the lock. Also there was a current employee that was working there that no longer works there. So I found that very odd. But at the end of the day you really can't trust no one not even if it's business. Realistically I wish I can get all my money back from the beginning of the unit that I have paid because again this is one of the worst experience I ever had to deal with and I'm a not satisfied customer at all. I would never recommend this storage place.

I originally had one on the ground floor, but it turned out to be too small. The only ones available were the ones you could only access with the rolling stairs. It was the biggest pain in the neck. I didn't even know these existed or I would not have stored my stuff there. Also, there are people who are clearly living in those units. There are also homeless outside often as well.

The customer service level has improved through the years. The check in women coordinated the UBox access appointment with the storage unit I was loading into at the South Orange, Orlando 32806 location. Her service was personable and first rate. Jose & his team member assisted me with 4 items I was not able to physically move myself. Their help was greatfully appreciated. There was even a front counter women who assisted in removing a homeless person that was loitering to close to my UBox and she "handled" the situation. Thank you. Congratulations!!! ... Team South Orange, Orlando, FL 32806 for a five star A++ moving experience that I would recommend.

I opted to reserve a 15' truck and consider it a "moving in" cost because this location has treated me so well in the past. The intention was to load the truck, move everything into the loading area at the facility, then return the truck immediately. Living nearby the rental would be for less than an hour. Upon getting my return call to arrange the rental the woman on the phone was so condescending and disrespectful I hung up and canceled two truck reservations immediately then moved out of my storage unit. I have no interest in paying money to be talked to like that. I gave one star because I've actively told friends and family in the area about my experience and to avoid uhaul.

She worked in the "call center" and couldn't move her car right then, so we would have to wIt. After going into the office 3 times, finally someone had to get her keys and move it. It took at least 20 minutes just to have access to unload our truck. When I asked WHY would an employee park where trucks must unload, he said there were no other parking places! Around the other side of the building there were numerous parking places. My advice to your company - tell your employees to park in areas where customers do not need access to park to go inside to do business (I also had trouble parking and purchasing moving supplies the week before). It seems your employees don't want to WALK around the building. How rude and lazy. This 20 minute wait cost me $80. I want that $ refunded.

They didn't get me the supplies I rented online, they didn't give me the unit number to my storage room (which they didn't even read my reservation to see that I had one). They didn't tell me that that wouldn't be providing a lock, so my storage unit was unlocked and I had to leave to buy a lock in the middle of the night after unpacking a whole apartment's worth of things. They provided no helpful service. They gave no instruction on how to use the key to access the facility: it requires a swipe at the main entrance door before it can be used to swipe at the door access to the storage units. They gave me attitude when I asked about the lock. It was, overall, a terrible moving experience.

I reserved a storage on 10/26/21 to get there with all of my things on 12/01/21 to not having the reserved storage available and no other storage units available. The representative found me a storage unit after 30 minutes of searching that was smaller than the space I needed. All of my things didn't fit so I have things I have to find some other place to put them. The store unit looks horrible patched up and it doesn't even have a net to cover the top and protect my things. This was a inconvenience to me and my movers.

I had already filled out everything online and when I Arrived was told I need the name of another person. I don't have one. I'm 100 % solo in my life. He was such a jerk about it and yep old me I can't rent here which would have left me stranded with a few belongings. So I made up a name and he said see that's no so hard is it? There's a lot more to it but I'm sure I'm running out of space. I know that we are in a world of being short staffed but respect and courtesy go both ways

I had a 1st floor storage Upper level its says not understanding that it meant 2nd floor UPSTAIRS. I had already had a rough day with the Uhaul drinking up so much gas for a 3 1/2 Hour drive spending $110 just in gas and receiving the truck on Empty and all the credit me for gas was $46 something wrong. But the Asst. Manager their was Awesome great customer service, and patience made me feel at easy after a hectic day. I would say he was the M. V. P for me yesterday. Merci

Also the platform to load or upload is much higher the the UHaul, that difference in hight plus the plastic curtain in our way makes it difficult and dangerous to work.

I didn't have a name so the person checking me in said well that's fine we can just cancel this reservation then. I kept telling him I don't have anyone and he said come on everyone has someone. A mom a dad? My parents are deceased and I have no siblings. I do not have anyone that I can put down: your website needs to be clear that you need this info. I ended up making up a name and phone number just to get this guy to back off. It literally almost left me stranded with no where to store my stuff. Yep his was a very stressful and humiliating day xperiemce. No help at all from your manager just a give me a name or we will cancel this reservation.

His unit was close to mine, and he was always plugging in his radio or generator into the hallway wall socket. He had chairs set up inside his unit so he could eat his dinner, and had female friends over who would bang on the outside door, calling his name, and he would open the door to let them in. They sat in his unit with him late at night. Every morning, his unit would be locked and he would be gone. But every evening, his bike would be in the hallway, along with chairs and boxes. His appliances were plugged in and he was eating dinner and listening to music most evenings we were there. Maybe he's the night manager? If he is, a sign posted on his unit or nearby would be helpful so we aren't worried what he is doing could be viewed as suspicious or illegal. It was just an odd experience to see a man literally every time we were there after hours living out of his unit.

As we all know once payment is behind they cut your lock off and lock you out of your storage till you are up to date...My problem wasn't being locked out.....My problem started when I paid off my bill and decided to leave. When they cut my lock off, they went into the storage unit and cut across my toolbox with the cut off wheel they used to cut the lock. The other Dewalt stackable storage containers I had in there had signed of attempted forced entry.....never again will I use Uhaul storage.....customer support was great during the storage process and this situation is probably isolated to the individual location....but I refuse to ever go through that again. There are cheaper and more secure locations than Uhaul.

I did complain about one staff person not wearing his mask and whistling as he walked towards me but I returned weekly for 3 weeks and never saw him again so maybe he's gone. In the Covid era it's never to safe. He wasn't speaking to me so he had no reason to whistle. I spoke to him under my mask but he never responded so I don't know his motives. All other staff was friendly and courteous not only to me but to other customers so that's a good thing.

Then i was promised someone would be there at 630 AM the next morning so I could unload my truck. The lady told me sje couldn't find my reservation, so she took the time i could've been unloading the truck to find the reservation. She then tried to create a new one and told me I wasn't charged until i showed her my banking app that showed the charge. A guy from the back (thank god) came out and had to show her how to use the software to find my reservation. He found where i had been charged and everything. Next morning i get there thinking all i needed was the black card she gave me, come to find out there's a whole check in and check out process that she didn't even tell me about. On top of all of that i was charged for a lock for the door. Then I speak with a new lady who'l told me we had access to our until until 10pm and that there shouldn't have been an issue with us unloading the truck the night before when we got there before 7pm. Then I was told I couldn't leave the U-Haul truck I rented from another LOCAL U-Haul Location because i didn't get a certain type of U-Haul truck reservation and was told "i should've been told this when I made my reservation". There were so many service failures within my experience that Indint plan on keeping my stuff with you all ever again.
