My original reservation said it was available, however, I didn't find out it was not in stock until I drove there. I found out my reservation had been moved to a location 25 minutes away. When I got there they didn't have a truck either! They actually helped me out by giving me a reservation that was late.

The van I reserved was not ready at the reservation time but they hurried and gave me a vehicle with 3/4 tank of fuel. I returned the vehicle with 7/8 of a fuel tank after driving a total of six miles and putting in 1,5 gallons of gas and was still charged a $10 fuel charge. Because the facility did not have electricity when I returned the vehicle the rental receipt was emailed to me after the return so I could not contest the fuel charge. It was only $10.00, but since I returned it with more fuel than I was provided, and only drove 6 miles I am extremely dissatisfied with the service.

The experience with moving with the Uhaul has been disappointing. The communication between where my box was supposed to be and where my box ended up was non existent. There was an associate that helped me at this location who went above and beyond unfortunately I did not get his name. I really did not expect this much trouble with a company such as uhaul

Unfortunately, I had a bad experience with a person when I went to return the vehicle. To the point that, a worker disrespected me and I had to tell him that “If he did not like his job, to quit”. He has no customer relations manners whatsoever. But, thanks to a Mr. Jose Moreno that stepped in and helped me out making me feel at ease while returning the vehicle. This gentleman was very courteous and diligent in helping us out. If I could rate him, I would had give him a 5 star review. People like Jose reflects credit upon himself and this company. He is a great asset to Uhaul. Get him promoted!!!

would give this 0 stars if I could! I have never seen a company mess something up as bad as they did. We had 3 boxes shipped to our storage facility and 3 to our home. They were supposed to pick them all up and ship them as 1 group so I wouldn't be charged the large fee twice as they were going to the same location.this was noted in all the reservation notes as well as I called to confirm this on multiple occasions including when I had to remind them to ship the containers after they sat for a few days. Uhaul Orlando messed it up and k was charged $7k instead of $3500. In trying to get a refund they couldn't figure out what had happened even though I had spoken to them on multiple occasions about this. They would close out my account as resolved and say they had sent me emails and called me to explain the resolution but no one bet reached out. The CO warehouse then couldn't deliver my boxes all together and I was charged separate delivery fees as well as rental fees again due their inability to bring the boxes when they were supposed and due to Orlando's incompetence. I had to call and speak to the Market President who would promise to call me the same day and then ignore me on multiple occasions and not be able to talk as he was in one meeting all day every day and then start reaching out to the corporate office as well as the Market President's boss before I could a resolution on one refund and then had to deal with a snarky rude girl in the CO office to get the refund for my rent due here. It should be one fee and non of the nickel And diming, especially when they don't know how to run this business or communicate with their internal employees or with other departments within the company. Very poorly run and a scam!!!

It was an amazing experience to own a storage unit within your faculty unfortunately I can't afford to rent it at this time although I do do a lot of business with you guys! More welcoming and friendly customer service. Personnel barely spoke to us upon return of the vehicle rental. That being said, personnel did as needed to assist with handling the return and the location was clean.

Got a 26ft truck and there was hydraulic oil all over floor, walls and mom's attic. Floor of bed was like an ice rink and very unsafe to walk on, also going down ramp. I called and they told me I would have to drive 30 mins back to their store, so I did. Truck they swapped out with had check engine light on. This place is a joke. Really would like some compensation back for the major inconvenience this cause me on my move day. Sat us back like 2,5 hours from our schedule and they did noting to help

Everyone at this location is very friendly. The only imporvement I could suggest is if there is only one person at the counter that they should not leave with customers in line. Also they coudl do a bit better at being a bit faster when it comes to assisting customers.

Change your staffs because 1 tried to attack my husband with a machete. The other workers defended his action. Only because we found out the milage was 132 mile for 1/4 tank gas. Impossible! Real gangster thing going on there. Still waiting on the field manager to contact us!

I paid movers by the hour and when we arrived at the facility an employee had Parkes in the loading dock!!!! She worked in the "call center" and couldn't move her car right then, so we would have to wIt. After going into the office 3 times, finally someone had to get her keys and move it. It took at least 20 minutes just to have access to unload our truck. When I asked WHY would an employee park where trucks must unload, he said there were no other parking places! Around the other side of the building there were numerous parking places. My advice to your company - tell your employees to park in areas where customers do not need access to park to go inside to do business (I also had trouble parking and purchasing moving supplies the week before). It seems your employees don't want to WALK around the building. How rude and lazy. This 20 minute wait cost me $80. I want that $ refunded.

Ordering my needs with the help of the very polite operator (who spoke English and understood my needs), pick up of the truck, operation of the truck, cleanliness of the truck, help of the people at the desk (3500 S. Orange Ave.), and return vehicle and check back in; all services were well done and so very smooth. I would appreciate that U-Haul maintain their high level of services and try to hold the line on prices. Not many of us can keep going with inflation the way it is. Thanks.

- Poorly ran, like a side business for friends of employees - I was called in the road to verify which truck I had. - This was after they did me a 'favor' of letting me 'get' the truck I reserved Shady and unprofessional and made this entire thing unorthodox and out of line - The entire turning in procedure was pure nonsense. I was there 100 % of the way. - U haul was not at all...you all dropped the ball at every single turn. - in contract, and in acceptable personal grounds. - you sending me a receipt and expecting me to say, 'thank you' is a fuck you. So ' FUCK YOU' you failed..admit it. - I already said that you met me halfway and provided great roadside, but your reps failed at every turn. Do not blame it on me. Your service center is shit, your customer service is a joke, and you're running a hustle business under your noses. ... Sure.. customers matter right? Get some integrity.

Normally I rent from the kirkman location and have no issues. Soon as we started to load, roaches started crawling out of the creases. I called the store to let them know this truck is infested with roaches. They offered to give me a new one, however; the second truck had them also. I didn't have time to go to a different location and ended up spraying it with raid and killing them myself. I expect better from uhual, retire the trucks if they are infested. If I find one in my house i will call back.

Van functioned adequately. Interior of vehicle had a strong tobacco smell and should have been thoroughly cleaned before renting. I am still having ill effects from breathing second hand smoke. The next time I encounter a smoke filled vehicle from Haul I will turn it down.

This was our fourth or fifth rental from this location. The equipment is clean and well cared for. The reservation, pick up and drop off always managed with the customer in mind. I highly recommend this U-Haul location.

The location was secure and clean. But the real star of the show, is the staff. They are happy, funny, and friendly. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I personally saw them handle a line of 9-10 customers at 9am with grace and poise. The staff at the South Orange location deserves recognition.

They didn't prepare me for navigating the facility. They sat in their chairs and gave me no instruction. They didn't get me the supplies I rented online, they didn't give me the unit number to my storage room (which they didn't even read my reservation to see that I had one). They didn't tell me that that wouldn't be providing a lock, so my storage unit was unlocked and I had to leave to buy a lock in the middle of the night after unpacking a whole apartment's worth of things. They provided no helpful service. They gave no instruction on how to use the key to access the facility: it requires a swipe at the main entrance door before it can be used to swipe at the door access to the storage units. They gave me attitude when I asked about the lock. It was, overall, a terrible moving experience.

Kyle was helpful and switched my unit but there were multiple homeless people very sketchy LIVING inside the units it felt extremely unsafe and it was my last resort as I am moving to Chicago so I felt stuck in a scary situation. Also had to manually move an entire truck through a different garage as the door was broken. All in all the worst moving experience I've ever had

I had been routed to three centers before we made it to your center. I was more than irritated. To add the truck I reserved was broken. Also the system crashed!!! BUT, my irritation changed quickly due directly to the friendly and knowledgeable team. Your team lead was AMAZING that day!!!!!

The staff at the facility were amazing but when I booked this on the phone to your main phone number. I said I wanted to store a washer and dryer and flooring. I was not told it would be a second level 5 feet off the ground. Also how do you expect people to get their itmes up on to a loading dock from the street level with no other entrance to get in?

The representative Shaquille was great however the experience with the storage rental was horrible. I reserved a storage on 10/26/21 to get there with all of my things on 12/01/21 to not having the reserved storage available and no other storage units available. The representative found me a storage unit after 30 minutes of searching that was smaller than the space I needed. All of my things didn't fit so I have things I have to find some other place to put them. The store unit looks horrible patched up and it doesn't even have a net to cover the top and protect my things. This was a inconvenience to me and my movers.

First and foremost, staff never answers the phone. Secondly, I had an issue with the general manager. He was not only rude but doesn't care and it shows by his staff never answering the phone. I will probably never use U-Haul again.Surely not orange avenue.

Upon checking in a few months ago the person who stated he was a manager was so rude to me. I had already filled out everything online and when I Arrived was told I need the name of another person. I don't have one. I'm 100 % solo in my life. He was such a jerk about it and yep old me I can't rent here which would have left me stranded with a few belongings. So I made up a name and he said see that's no so hard is it? There's a lot more to it but I'm sure I'm running out of space. I know that we are in a world of being short staffed but respect and courtesy go both ways

To be honest i was a lil upset because online the way you guys label your storage. I had a 1st floor storage Upper level its says not understanding that it meant 2nd floor UPSTAIRS. I had already had a rough day with the Uhaul drinking up so much gas for a 3 1/2 Hour drive spending $110 just in gas and receiving the truck on Empty and all the credit me for gas was $46 something wrong. But the Asst. Manager their was Awesome great customer service, and patience made me feel at easy after a hectic day. I would say he was the M. V. P for me yesterday. Merci

The plastic curtain where we load or upload merchandise is very annoying, there should be a something to hold it open when we are working. Also the platform to load or upload is much higher the the UHaul, that difference in hight plus the plastic curtain in our way makes it difficult and dangerous to work.

I reserved a unit online. When I arrived I was informed I needed to add additional names and phone numbers to my reservation per unsullied policy. I didn't have a name so the person checking me in said well that's fine we can just cancel this reservation then. I kept telling him I don't have anyone and he said come on everyone has someone. A mom a dad? My parents are deceased and I have no siblings. I do not have anyone that I can put down: your website needs to be clear that you need this info. I ended up making up a name and phone number just to get this guy to back off. It literally almost left me stranded with no where to store my stuff. Yep his was a very stressful and humiliating day xperiemce. No help at all from your manager just a give me a name or we will cancel this reservation.

Excellent experience. The only odd comment would be do you have someone actually living in their storage unit? His unit was close to mine, and he was always plugging in his radio or generator into the hallway wall socket. He had chairs set up inside his unit so he could eat his dinner, and had female friends over who would bang on the outside door, calling his name, and he would open the door to let them in. They sat in his unit with him late at night. Every morning, his unit would be locked and he would be gone. But every evening, his bike would be in the hallway, along with chairs and boxes. His appliances were plugged in and he was eating dinner and listening to music most evenings we were there. Maybe he's the night manager? If he is, a sign posted on his unit or nearby would be helpful so we aren't worried what he is doing could be viewed as suspicious or illegal. It was just an odd experience to see a man literally every time we were there after hours living out of his unit.

Should pro rate the storage units when you don't use the full month and the trucks should be worked on the one we had the front end was no good we were lucky we could stop.

It's rare these days to receive good customer service, especially due to COVID-19 many of Us are in fear of dealing with normal day-to-day Activities, some just don't care to say the least. My experience with Alex and Kyle was very helpful, we laughed and cried(I did, you would too with those long-distance prices) and laughed again while still trying to give me the best deal.

Never again....damage goods within one of my storages. I was storing a $10 000 snap-on toolbox among other tools and stuff that was in my garage before relocating...Due to covid 19, I became behind in payments. As we all know once payment is behind they cut your lock off and lock you out of your storage till you are up to date...My problem wasn't being locked out.....My problem started when I paid off my bill and decided to leave. When they cut my lock off, they went into the storage unit and cut across my toolbox with the cut off wheel they used to cut the lock. The other Dewalt stackable storage containers I had in there had signed of attempted forced entry.....never again will I use Uhaul storage.....customer support was great during the storage process and this situation is probably isolated to the individual location....but I refuse to ever go through that again. There are cheaper and more secure locations than Uhaul.

The current crew is excellent. I did complain about one staff person not wearing his mask and whistling as he walked towards me but I returned weekly for 3 weeks and never saw him again so maybe he's gone. In the Covid era it's never to safe. He wasn't speaking to me so he had no reason to whistle. I spoke to him under my mask but he never responded so I don't know his motives. All other staff was friendly and courteous not only to me but to other customers so that's a good thing.

I got there before closing was told that I couldn't unload my U-Haul truck. Then i was promised someone would be there at 630 AM the next morning so I could unload my truck. The lady told me sje couldn't find my reservation, so she took the time i could've been unloading the truck to find the reservation. She then tried to create a new one and told me I wasn't charged until i showed her my banking app that showed the charge. A guy from the back (thank god) came out and had to show her how to use the software to find my reservation. He found where i had been charged and everything. Next morning i get there thinking all i needed was the black card she gave me, come to find out there's a whole check in and check out process that she didn't even tell me about. On top of all of that i was charged for a lock for the door. Then I speak with a new lady who'l told me we had access to our until until 10pm and that there shouldn't have been an issue with us unloading the truck the night before when we got there before 7pm. Then I was told I couldn't leave the U-Haul truck I rented from another LOCAL U-Haul Location because i didn't get a certain type of U-Haul truck reservation and was told "i should've been told this when I made my reservation". There were so many service failures within my experience that Indint plan on keeping my stuff with you all ever again.
